It is not the cheapest of the hand held vac.s but its construction reflects a German quality manufacture. I have used the narrow attachment with the brush attached and it cleaned up the gunk in the bottom of the sliding glass door rails better than any other hand held vac. I’ve tried. It also removes stuff from the carpet of my car nicely. The first time I used it I forgot the instructions and ran into a little confusion with the ‘on-power selector-off’ button in the handle. Well if you look at the button the instructions are just underneath permanently attached. (So I didn’t need to go back inside to look for the instructions.) Hold 3 seconds to turn on and 1 second to advance through the 3 power stages to the off position That way it takes a 3 second hold to turn it on, and it won’t accidentally turn on with a simple bump. I have not used the inflator side, but the pressure feels adequate. The only question I have is if the hard plastic attachments (‘male’ end) included (there are several different sizes) will create an air tight seal when plugged into the ‘female end’ of the item your are inflating. I love the elegant simplicity of the vaccum on one side and the insuflator on the opposite side. You don’t have to flip any switches to change function.
WHAT IT DOESN’T HAVE: A charging cradle like the old dust buster that mounted on a wall, and an AC adaptor to keep it charged. Not a cigarette lighter for DC charging. But hay I’m dating myself. The USB C cable will fit into modern cars, or the adaptors that are inexpensive to plug into the lighter. As for home, I hope you have a USB C charging port, or you have had your head buried longer than I have.
YES I RECOMMEND IT.

There are a lot of places in a car that seem purposefully designed to collect dust and debris; the detritus of daily life seems to collect in them with an aplomb that one imagines is usually reserved for belts going into buckles and plugs going into outlets. CR-Vs are a wonder of storage spaces and this little vacuum fits in the glove compartment, the center console, and the door pocket; all places where it can be kept with the plug wire attached and with an attachment already installed. While the vacuum comes equipped with a bag that fits the vacuum cleaner and all the attachments, that just keeps it from being used right away. What I have found is that a powerful little vacuum cleaner like this can fit into those undefined periods of time when all one can do is wait and keep the car free from the dust and detritus of daily life.
The attachments are keyed so that the ones for the front have an ovaled rectangle to attach to the vacuum cleaner and the ones for the back are round and have notch for the key in the rim of the back. There is only one failure in the otherwise excellent execution and that is that cleaning the driver’s seat involves standing outside and, in the wintertime, air blows out of the back at quite a high speed and it can make a person quite cold very quickly. I would argue that this is both, significant, and inevitable; nevertheless, it does place something of a limitation on the use of the device. When it is really cold out and you leave the door open while you vacuumOn the other hand, the device works while plugged in to charge and that might be important in terms of the longevity of the product in as much as the battery is going to be tortured by the environment inside the car, summer and winter. Still, I expect this little vacuum cleaner to last, the important part is made of metal!
Today, which is two days after I started writing this review, one of those undefined moments arrived and I was able to use the vacuum at max power with the long attachment and the brush that adds to the end of the long attachment to clean around the car from the driver’s seat. I only a little more time than the battery lasted (so the battery lasted about 20 minutes at full power which actually beats the 16 minutes the manufacturer claimed it would last! It is so nice to have something deliver more than it promises!) and I was able to clean all sorts of places where just using the long attachment by itself was insufficient for optimal cleaning. This might be more of a physics problem given all the little groves in the tray I was trying to clean but regardless, I still needed to clean it and today, everything worked wonderfully! The brush got into the groves and the dirt was sucked in! I also used the brush to reach places where the long attachment was not going to be enough, however, for some of these, it just made more sense to use the blower end and the handiness of the blower end did not hurt! The seats liked the brush end better than the wide attachment but the carpet liked the wide but brushless attachment best. It wasn’t like my car was filthy or anything but it truly is way cleaner and I didn’t have to drive anywhere or mess with extension cords etc…
I left the vacuum charging in the center console but that is one of the problems with things in cars, they do not charge unless you are driving! All the better that this little but powerful vacuum works when attached to the wire and charging! Don’t let it overheat, it didn’t like that and it shut itself down.

This vacuum is just about identically sized to the average blow-dryer, and is about the same weight. Really nice for using in overhead situations or small spaces. I have a great “regular” vacuum that has all kinds of ways it detaches, but it is still pretty heavy to lift into the loft or vacuum the soffits. This is definitely easy to get into all kinds of spaces. My first test of this was to clean my VERY dirty fan over my bed. Here is my experience:
I first charged the vacuum to full charge. There are tons of attachments with this little guy, and many of them need to go on with an “adapter” that also comes with it. After trying a few different attachments, I settled for the brush as the best way to unstick the dust bunnies from the fan. The brush has a suction hole about the size of my thumb. There was a lot of dust on my fan. This is a small vacuum, and about halfway through the fan being cleaned the vacuum stopped because it had too much dust in the cannister (which is about 1 cup in volume). I emptied the cannister and washed out the filter. Luckily, there is a second filter so I didn’t have to wait for the first one to dry. I finished the vacuum job with the second filter. At one point, the opening did plug with a particularly large dust bunny. (This is a small vacuum). In the end, I had gotten my fan vacuumed with very little residue on my bed (which is always the problem when I try to clean that fan). Because of the light weight, my arm wasn’t too tired.
End result?
I’m glad to have this vacuum in my arsenal, but its small size is both its strength and weakness. I have done the same vacuum job with my regular vacuum, but it is heavy to hold close to the fan, and more awkward, so I tend to knock more dust onto my bed. On the other hand, the bigger size means it goes much faster, and I don’t have to stop in the middle for a cleaning. Having a cordless vacuum is going to be great for doing things like cleaning off my screens, which aren’t always close to cords. I can also see using these for a quick dust of “decorative” shelves where I have to work around a bunch of small items. It could work for the car, but probably only for small areas, due to the small capacity of the vacuum.
As far as suction power, I have no complaints. There are 3 settings, and while I do wish they had more of a toggle switch rather than pressing the 1 button 3 times, there is a nice color led indicator (green/yellow/red) so you can tell which power setting you are on.
