Oster #5 Comb Attachment a perfect fit
I purchased this Oster Universal #5 (5/8 inch) Comb Attachment Blade Guard for my Oster Classic 76 Clippers that I received as a gift. I had also received several other Oster universal comb attachments, but none were of the length that I desired. This Oster #5 attachment was exactly what I was looking for and is just like the other ones in construction/materials, fit and form. I am very pleased with it and it has worked exceptionally well for at least a dozen haircuts to-date.

Very durable
Love these attachments! I groom my Standard Schnauzer and don’t like him shaved to the skin. The attachments give me a look close to what hand stripping looks like.These attachments get a lot of use; after Covid started & my husband couldn’t go to his barber so I started cutting his hair with them and he likes it so much that I can now add “barber” to my many job titles!

Ok universal comb
I have an older pair of Raycine clippers and these Universal combs do work on them for trimming my beard–sort of. The metal fingers on the back of the comb are a bit flimsy and will bend if too much force is used. I have been able to make them work Ok as long as I don’t press too hard. The comb can pop off of the clippers and will bend the metal if I press too hard. Decent price and they can work on the Raycine clippers.

Got the 4,5,6 and they are sturdy !!! Iâm a licensed cosmetologist and do about 15 to 20 a haircut today and they hold up very well

I ordered this to use on the Oster clipper with a stationary metal blade that typically uses plastic guards. This only fits the Oster Classic type clipper with interchangeable metal guards. I couldn’t get a #5 guard in the plastic so I ordered this. Fortunately, I do have an Oster Classic so I use it with that when a #5 guard is needed.3 stars bcz of not being clear in the description using the word, “Universal”.
