First time I had a kit with a descent metal screwdriver included that you can use repeatedly. Kit has quality even the adhesive is 3m. Keep up this quality, hard to find nowadays.

Perfect fit and easy to install.
This battery replaced my old OEM battery and has a longer battery life. Just like my headline reds, it was really easy to install. The MOST difficult part was removing the old battery without damaging it and risking a fire. Make sure you take extra precaution removing it as mine was glued down with the power of god.

Good Tools, Bad Instructions
Overall, this does what it says it does. It replaces your switch’s battery. PLEASE ONLY DO THIS IF YOU’RE CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITIES TO TEAR SOMETHING APART AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. Not everyone should use this kit to swap out the battery, because it can be dangerous on it’s own.Now that the warning is out of the way, here’s some pros and cons. Please note that I had none of the tools to open a Switch before I bought this kit.Pros:The battery worksThe tools do their job as intendedCons:The instructions are lacking in detail. I spent a good hour and a half trying to remove the battery using the spatula (because I’m stubborn) before looking into what I should have figured out an hour before. THE BATTERY IS STRONGLY GLUED DOWN. It’s touched on that it will be “difficult to remove” but you also need to be “very gentle” with removing it.Another nitpick of the instructions is that they don’t make much mention of being careful of plugging in the power cable correctly, or carefully removing the card reader on the switch. Both are easily damaged, and while I personally understood what I needed to do because I’ve worked with small electronics, not everyone will.To help anyone with this in the future, I recommend using Isopropyl alcohol to dissolve the glue underneath, as it will dry and not damage the electronics too much if it gets everywhere. I tried using like a card to slide underneath it, but without the alcohol, I would’ve been there for another hour.Again, overall, this product is good. It’ll save ya about $90 and a wasted bit of time from Nintendo. It’ll also keep your battery from exploding. I just can’t give it any further than a 4 star though, since the instructions were so oblivious to the issues that could pop up.One last thing, BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING YOUR SWITCH IF YOU’RE REALLY GOING TO GO THROUGH WITH THIS. Lots of tiny pins and other small bits that can be pretty easily damaged if you’re not careful.

Best Kit I have ever bought
When you buy stuff, you expect things to work well, but this product overachieved my expectations.Let’s start with the screwdriver and the bits. This is going to be in my top 3 screwdrivers I own. Magnetized, very confortable, great quality, great finish, smooth rotation of the back, it is just perfect for the job. The screw bits are very well labeled and they are the exact size for the Switch.The guide is just impecable, tells you the exact bits and steps you will take during the installation, following it exactly step by step will lead you to successfully replacing your battery.My battery came out fully charged, so I will need to check how much it lasts and I will update some months from now to determine its overall quality.For now, overall it’s a solid 5 star review.I will definitely recommend this product to you, the reader and also my friends who own a Switch and might need this for the future.

Terrible product!!!
The original batter in my Switch was starting to drain very quickly (completely dies when out of the dock in 15-20 mins) so I looked into battery replacement and came across this product. Swapping the battery was straight forward (except for the glued down battery, complete pain but manageable).The best part of this product are the tools and visual instructions. The batter would power up the switch, but never held a charge! Even in docked mode, the battery wouldn’t attempt to charge (the charging indicator was on but the battery percentage would never go up).So, requested a new battery due to faulty product. New battery shows up and seems to be holding a charge………but in less that 24 hrs later, it starts doing the same thing!!! 2 products in the less than one week and they both are faulty out of the box. I put my old battery back into the switch just so I’ll have the ability to play something until I figure something out. Probably just eventually replace it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT!

Good battery, pain install
The battery itself seems to be working just fine, it fit into the switch and plugged in securely. The process itself isnât all that bad. The old battery was glued in and took a lot of force to remove. Still, it was relatively painless up until you have to plug the sd card reader back in. Iâve done the shell swaps on both joycons, and I never came across anything even close to the pain in the butt of that card reader. Very finicky to line up and plug in properly. Very fragile, I ended up bending half the pins. I thought I did a satisfactory job of straightening them all out. I finally got it plugged in and I booted up the switch to test it before I put the cover back on, and it worked. Completely reassembled and fired it up, cannot access micro as card. Just great

Tiene lo necesario para instalar la bateria y el manual aunque muy sencillo indica con claridad que tornillos debes quitar y que desarmador usar (estÃ¡n incluidos). NecesitarÃ¡s paciencia para ir despegando la bateria y la pala incluida te ayuda bastante, asegÃºrate de desconectar la bocina que esta junto a la bateria para evitar romper el cable. Una vez que levantas un 10% de la bateria, lo demÃ¡s es facil.Respecto a su desempeÃ±o. esperaba que durarÃa mÃ¡s; yo la compre para el primer switch que saliÃ³ (la primer versiÃ³n de hardware) y mi bateria original ya se me acababa en 2 o 3 horas, esta dura unas 7 horas continuas (a veces mÃ¡s, a veces menos depende el juego o si esta descargando programas) pero en general es aceptable.Si la recomiendo, pero no esperes que realmente la bateria sea de larga duraciÃ³n.
