Zero Tangling Brush – A revolutionary innovation that holds a conical cleaning brush on a single floating arm. Instead of getting trapped, hair and pet fur are passed directly into the dust bag. SGS and TÜV certified, Freo X Ultra has a 0% tangle rate with 99.5% of hair getting instantly removed.
Mops Until Shining – Patented Rouleaux robot mop heads leave no gaps and press down with 12N and spin at 180RPM to scrub away stubborn stains. It features AI DirtSense technology that knows when your floors are clean, and keeps scrubbing until they are. EdgeSwing Technology enables it to clean up to the edge and reach every corner of your house.
Maintenance-Free Docking Station – The included base station is a fully equipped hands-free maintenance center. It automatically washes, dries, and refills the mops with detergent and water. Then it cleans and dries itself and offers easy control of Freo X Ultra’s robot vacuum and mop functions.
Self-Contained Dust Processing – Ordinary robot cleaners self-empty their dust into their base station—a noisy and messy process. Freo X Ultra has a built-in system that compresses the dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free cleaning with a disposable dust bag for effortless and clean disposal (collecting into a standard dust bin is also available).
Tri-Laser Obstacle Avoidance – Paired with industry-leading mapping technology, Freo X Ultra avoids even small and low-lying objects thanks to millimeter-precision lasers. It uses side sensors to hug obstacles and clean up to the edge.

Customers say

Customers praise the robotic vacuum cleaner for its cleaning ability, suction power, and functionality. They find it easy to use, with a simple setup process. The mapping accuracy, smartness, and noise level are also appreciated. However, some customers have mixed opinions on value for money.

    Does what it says
I have been an autumn vacuum owner. I have been a robot vacuum owner for years. I used to buy the best from the other company that starts with R.Aside from that other company is very first model all of their subsequent models have fallen short and literally fallen apart In about a year. I used to buy their moppers and their vacuums. I have a very high traffic household with two big dogs so I really needed extra help with the robot machine. When the last robot died in less than a year, I knew I was In trouble.I shopped for months looking for something that does what they say they’re gonna do. I came across the brand new vacuum that starts with D and tried to buy it, but it was out of stock. It didn’t have a mopper, but I was willing to Just something that actually works properly. Thank goodness it was out of stock because my girlfriend told me about the Narwal.Never heard of it before and I try to do some research. There wasn’t too much I could find but what I did find and other reviews looked promising. I know I could return it if it was Another false promised by robot vacuum company so I sucked it up and gave it a shot. I use the coupon codes and also bought the accessory pack. Here we Are over one month with this machine and I couldn’t be happier.First of all, it’s beautiful. I actually just renovated my home and the color game, the popular white and gray and so this robot matches perfectly with my home. Very clever on the designer part. Functionality is absolutely amazing. The app and the menu system is so easy to use and it connected immediately to my Wi-Fi. I was able to program daily sweep schedules in the middle of the night so I always wake up to a clean floor. Being able to choose the zones where I just want the kitchen swept, for example, is such an awesome feature. And of course, the mopping was the true test and Was simply blown away with this thing my floors I love that it goes home around every couple hundred square feet, depending on what you said it for and it cleans its own pads and it even empties the water and takes in more clean water.Me This machine is a dream come true!!

    Godsend!
This is the greatest thing to ever be made by the hands of man. I have OCD, I like ideal cleanliness in my home. This narwal does for me what I don’t have time to do. It mops, it cleans, it’s smart. You can send it to whatever room you like whenever you like, any time of day. You can schedule to clean your whole house when you’re not home with your choice of how much moppage you want, how squeaky clean or meticulous you want. I can clean my bathroom floor 20 times a day if I so choose! It’s amazing! And it saves me so much time. And then you think, but surely how well can a robot vacuum clean the floor? And I tell you, through experience, better than a person! I decided yesterday after almost 6 months of using this godsend, to wipe my kitchen floor with a paper towel to see how much dust or dirt was there. None! Zero! That paper towel was white as snow after wiping down the whole kitchen! That narwal is amazing. It even gets into the nooks and crannies. I am getting my mom one for Christmas. If you like cleanliness, and you are tired of mopping and vacuuming (it just moves dirt around pretty much when we humans do it) then save your back and get this.FYI: If you have cords and wires on the floor, as I often tend to, yes the narwal may pick it up and wrap it in it’s little whirly brush. Then you just turn it over and unwind it from the whirly brush and try to keep the cords off the floor next time. I have had this happen several times and the narwal just stops what it’s doing until you get the cord out and it’s fine. No big deal. If it happens while I’m at work, when I get home, I take the cord out of the brush and turn the narwal back over and that’s it.

Oh wow. A robot that actually works!
Ok, I’ve had this one for a week. So I’ll update in a couple months if things change. But….This is awesome. I owned a Roomva iRobot for the last two years. The kicker with them was when I needed customer service over a dust bin in the unit, and i was 1 week out of warranty/return for it because I bought it, put it aside until I really needed it, and when I finally instaled it, found it to be the wrong item. They told me to buy a new one of the right one and to bug off otherwise. iRobot’s cleaning power was also substandard, mine being a pet vac, that left pet hair all over the corners of the room. So, I’ve had 2 years experience with a robot vac.The Narwal cleans most excellently. Once in a while a piece of hair will get stuck in the back wheel and come off when it is travelling back and forth, but otherwise, perfect. The robot auto-detects floor type, changing from mopping to not (and raising the mops) when moving to a carpet. Setting room areas and types is very simple. It has settings for tile, hardwood and carpet, as well as general (it figures it out). You can set no-go zones very easily. You can even define a room as a pass-thru to get from one room to another that you are mopping, but the room in middle you don’t want dealt with.It detects obstacles so well. One time my son was in its way as it was on it’s way to a room to clean and he wasn’t going to move. It stopped about 9-12 inches away from him, then took a path around him. The Roomba would always be bumping into walls and furnature (softly, but still) to determine the extent of a room, but he Narwall has built-in optics and can detect obstacles before it hits them. So it doesn’t bump the walls and furnature, but gets right up close to vacuum or mop the edges with accuracy. And even here, when it mops at the edges of a wall, it has a mode to move, swivel, move so that the mop brushes get right up the edge and clean very, very well.It also detects if an area is extra dirty, for which it will mop that area/room 2x, 3x even 4x (if this is the fist time for a really dirty area — say a bathroom or laundry). After it mops so many square feet, or after a room (settable featured) the Narwal will go back and wash the mop heads to avoid cross-contamination of the dirt (very useful if coming from a bathroom, if you know what I mean). When complete, it cleans its mops and dries them. Sound can be set to quiet (takes longer) or strong (quicker, but louder) — and at any level is not all that loud (compared to the Roomba emptying its dirt bin every 10 minutes with a 99 db vacuum!!).Yes, this is a $1,000 unit, and I had to think a few times before spending that much. But it is worth every penny. My only work is in keeping the dirty water disposed of, and the clean water bin full. (If you set the robot on room mode — washing mop heads by room — then it isn’t that bad; leave it by area (smaller) and you will need to be present as the water likely will run out in the middle of the total task). So, that’s my 1 week estimate. I’ll come back in a few months to confirm or deny my initial findings. Right now: I love this thing!!

I have had experience with robotic vacuum cleaners and mops for years. This attractive and well designed product is the best one I’ve owned and it works perfectly.Narwal will doubtless be sending out OTA updates to make it even better. The thing is, it is really hard for me to find any fault with this product that is an improvement over its predecessor. With it able to work perfectly in fully automatic A.I. Freo Mind mode, it makes use of numerous sensors to detect and correctly react to dirt or spills in the most appropriate manner. If you want to make use of various settings yourself to modify the system, you will find the app provides you with vast control.Point is, the mopping pads are able to adjust pressure on the floor depending upon the surface. A little less downward pressure on your wooden floors versus your tiles. Those pads are kept clean and wet with prompt and effective washing with clean fresh water in the handsomely designed base. Detergent that is child and pet safe is automatically added to the water. When the cleaning job completes they are washed and dried with heated air. The washing tray is easy to remove and clean yourself as you should do every couple of weeks or so. The system is designed for maximizing cleaning performance, with no fiddly easy to fail mechanical washing methods.I also am so very pleased that with this powerful capable vacuum and mop to find out that it is amazingly quiet.A very large dustbin is made more efficient by the compression of the contained contents and disinfected and air drying to prevent any moisture from leading to bacterial growth and smells. The solution is in sync with the ability to handle potentially a longer, dump with a possible 7 weeks needed before tossing the expanding disposal filter bags/cartridges or you can use the included 1 litre more conventional dustbin with a washable filter. I have only used the newer disposal bins thus far and I am very happy to say they work as advertised. If you’re someone who has a few kids and several pets, you may have more frequently emptying and the easiest to empty conventional dust bin may be the way you end up going. Take note though that you are able to buy third parties filters and parts that are very cost effective. The Narwal Freo is a great machine that has been a success around the world, so no shortage of consumables are available for your long term enjoyment of this machine. It is an easy to setup product that you can trust to make your home as clean as possible and even do this while the family sleeps as it is so quiet and doesn’t have a super loud dirt handling solution that is subject to possibly clogging up with potentially damp dirt and dust.On so many levels, this mopping vacuum is a step above. I am very glad that I took the plunge and went with Narwal who have gone above and beyond in designing a super capable and easy to live with device to make your home better.Highly recommended.

We have had our Narwal for about a month now and all I can say is WOW!!! I am blown away by three things.1. The way the roller brush captures animal hair is mind blowing. We have an Irish Wolfhound that leaves hair throughout the house. Since we started using this, there is barely anything on the ground (daily cleaning) and have yet to have a brush tangle.2. The mop function is incredible. This vacuum/map does such an amazing job on our floors. Every morning we wake up to spotless floors.3. This thing is quiet. I actually like the fact that there is no dust bin capture in the base. It’s so quick an easy to empty that it’s really not an issue. You can barely hear the thing while it’s cleaning the house. Truly impressed. The loudest part is when it cleans the mops, but even then it’s not that loud.Setup was fairly easy, but as others have mentioned, connecting to your Wifi for the first time can be a challenge. It found my Wifi, I entered the password, but it wouldn’t finish the setup. I just ended up force closing the app and opened it back up, started the process again and it went through.Mapping the house was fairly easy, but I did notice a few errors it made and had to remap a few times. Not a big deal as it’s a very fast process. I ended up putting down fake cardboard walls to help it separate certain rooms (rather than making it one giant room). Seemed to fix the problem. I also had to cover a few mirrors in the house as it though there was a secret portal into another dimension! LOLThe app for the most part is intuitive and easy to use. Mapping a second floor is a PITA, and it does not work the same as it does for the first floor. You can only select an entire area rather than an individual room. Also, I can’t figure out how to tell it to mop on the second floor as it needs it’s base. Luckily for us we have mostly carpet on the second floor.Customer support is non existent so don’t get your hopes up. I have emailed there team a few times and still no response. I have also tried the Reddit Forum and you get a response, but they tell you to email their CSR team and you fall into a never ending cycle of ‘NO SUPPORT’. All of my issues have to do with the APP and not about the machine itself… just an FYI. Repair support may be faster. As for the machine and base itself. It’s a premium robot vacuum and it is hands down the nicest looking of the bunch. We also got the auto water exchange system and it works like a dream. If you can plumb it in, make the purchase. You won’t regret it!

Great product. Much better mopping system than other vacuum mops in the market. The mop pads actually scrub the floor clean. And since Narwal goes back to the docking station periodically to autoclean the mop, the each area is mopped with clean mop pads. The vacuum is super silent as well.Highly recommend Naraal.

I have 3 dogs, and they like to shed a lot, which means lots of sweeping and mopping in my multi-floor home. I was a bit worried that this wouldn’t be able to keep up, but am quite impressed with it!It handles daily cleaning quite well, easily picks up any hair, small chewed up rawhide, and lots of other things. It also supports multiple maps, so you can place it where it cant reach, and still clean that area! It seems to know and revisits areas where furniture was moved, and manages to get incredibly close to edges of cabinets, walls, etc.The software side of things took a bit of learning to get used to, and isn’t perfect, (one time after an update, it turned off the automatic detergent and dust bag compression) but it gets updated quite frequently and each update makes it more reliable and user friendly. There used to be a glitch where the tasks would be deleted if the user changes maps, but the creators listen to feedback, as well as offer support, and patched the problem almost immediately.I love how easily / well it integrates with google assistant, and how easy it is to set up timed activities, so it cleans during the night. In fact, I like the Narwal Freo so much, that I bought a second one for the basement. While it will never quite replace a deep clean with a traditional mop and bucket, it will absolutely do a great daily clean inbetween, and increase the time between deep cleans significantly!

Review Edited 19th September 2024I knew I would regret writing my first review so positively. What I failed to mention was the abysmal support. After launching in India, Narwal switched distributors, leaving their website for buying accessories and handling support in a perpetual state of “maintenance” for months. The support staff and contact numbers listed on their website are completely unhelpful and, frankly, some of the worst I have ever encountered. They are consistently clueless, which is unacceptable for a company selling expensive robotic vacuums. If your vacuum needs replacement parts due to wear and tear, you’re out of luck—there are none available. In fact, support even suggested I import off-brand accessories from another country. This is truly a first for me.Every inquiry is met with the same response: “Sir, I will check and get back to you.” This isn’t an isolated issue—I’ve been getting this same response for 10 days, and it repeats every 10 days. This lack of professionalism is beyond frustrating. While the vacuum itself is great, and I still stand by my initial review of the product, I cannot comprehend how they’ve managed to drop the ball so severely on after-sales support and screw it up so badly.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I usually don’t do reviews, but I had to make an exception for this purchase. Here’s why:Context: I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a wife who all shed a lot, and with my OCD, it’s been a losing battle, I tell you! But now, I’ve finally found hope—apparently, there’s a vacuum out there that can tackle fur and sanity in one go!Anyone who owns an upright cordless vacuum/mop cleaner knows they need regular maintenance themselves. Sure, they work as advertised, but considering the fur-pocalypse I mentioned earlier, it takes at least two passes a day to keep my sanity levels in check. And let’s be honest, ain’t nobody got time for that!I personally have a Dyson V11, a Tineco S5 Pro, and a couple of Black and Decker handheld vacuums, so you know I mean business. The only thing missing was a robo-vacuum. Unfortunately, the current offerings of robo-vacuums in India are like high-maintenance pets—cute but constantly needing attention. Then Narwal came along and finally cleaned up their act and offered the latest and greatest at the same price as their American counterparts.Pros:- Quick lidar/mapping- Stellar app with extensive customization/scheduling options- You have complete control over the type of cleaning you want and when and where you want it- Self-cleaning/drying of the mop head and it’s damn quiet- Minimal maintenance required on the base station, looking at you, T20 Omni- Excellent vacuuming capabilities and above-average mopping- M*****F****ing Anti Hair Tangle Brush Roller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Big enough dust/hair storage onboard to last a couple of weeks- Scented floor cleaner solution that auto-applies and smells good!- Huge dirty/clean water tanksCons:- Lidar issues with low-level objects like wires, etc.- Issues with light carpets/mats where on some occasions the vacuum might struggle (tape them down)- Expensive (subjective) disposable bags, but they do provide reusable plastic binsFinal Notes:With 3 + 1 shedding animals in the household, the disposable dust bags/bins can last for 2-3 weeks based on my usage. It will cost ₹300/piece via official channels and cheaper for knock-offs. I am going for minimal maintenance here, people, but you can always use the reusable plastic bins.If you want optimal cleaning and have a lot of objects lying about on the floor, you will still have to put them aside on higher ground so that there is maximum coverage; otherwise, Freo will navigate around it. While the Lidar sensor(s) work as intended except for very low-level objects, there will be some initial effort required from your end to ensure everything is spick and span. You will have to adjust your home and furniture in some instances to ensure cleaning is optimal and you have maximum coverage. Finally, this is not an easily affordable device, but for what it’s worth compared to other high-end robo vacuums in the Indian market, this is the best and latest tech that money can buy since all the other high-end vacuums are a generation or two behind and there are updated models available in EU/US markets. So again, if you want peace of mind and a robo vacuum that requires minimal assistance/maintenance and works exceptionally well, this is the device for you at this moment.
