Better than its predecessor
I have had a few of these vacuums and have been trying them out to see which ones are better. This one seems to lean more towards the hardwood floor than carpet. It seems to fill up quite easily when its picking up cat hair, and the base actually can only handle around 2 weeks of debris before it needs to be emptied in my experience.The vacuum is quite weak compared to other models but definitely better than its S10 model, I have watched it fail to pick up small debris like a small piece of ripped cardboard, paper, a piece of paper tape, styrofoam pellets, pet food, etc. This model can pick them up after a 2nd pass.It seems to be able to navigate around quite well, but declares anything shorter than itself its mortal enemy. It will repeatedly try to run over things like pet food bowls, shelves, its own dock/base, pedestal fan bases, etc. It also seems to completely ignore corners, these would need to be maintained with normal vacuuming. We also have had to lock our bathroom door when running this as it curls up and gets stuck on our bathroom rugs.The heated water cleaning is definitely a unique feature to this model that I have not seen on any other models or brands. I am not sure if it really makes that much of a difference.The battery runtime is pretty good, I don’t have a huge house but it fills up its debris can faster than it depletes its battery.Overall its an ok vacuum, but its weak on carpets. I believe this would do much better on hardwood floors which we don’t have. We do have tile for the bathroom and kitchen and it did clean those as good as we would have using a mop.

However, it will go charge when needed and then resume cleaning again. So definitely not a deal breaker. * Noise Level: The vacuum can be noisy when vacuuming rugs at full suction.Overall, the Mova P10 Ultra is an excellent investment for anyone who wants a hassle-free cleaning experience, especially pet owners. It’s reliable, efficient, and incredibly smart. If you’re looking to upgrade your cleaning routine and alleviate allergy symptoms, we highly recommend giving this vacuum a try.We also own the Mova S10 which we would also recommend. We have it set to vacuum our top floor, which is mainly carpet. It requires a bit more maintenance but works just as well as the P10 Ultra.Additional Note:I have seen several reviews that state that the consumable accessories are hard to find for this vacuum. I disagree, this robot vacuum uses the same bags, filters, and replaceable mop heads as other common Dreame robot vacuums such as the Dreame L10s Pro. Dreame and Mova are actually the same company. You can easily find these consumable products on Amazon or if you prefer to save money, they can be easily found for quite cheap on another popular, non-american, shopping site and often shipped internationally for free in just a few weeks.

I have 3 cats, it picks up all the hairs.You can set up the app to clean by room, zone, or all. You can set it up to do full clean up, only mop, only vacuum, and pick various options for vacuuming strength, and whether you want it to deep clean or not. You can set up no-go zones, and show where there is carpet or not. When it’s too full, it will go back to dock and empty itself. If it encounters areas that are dirtier than others, it will let you know, so you can ask it to do a deeper cleaning.It’s compatible with Dreametech X40 supplies for the vacuum and docking station, too.

I really enjoy having this in my home, it makes weekly cleaning much easier. To get it running, the set up is fairly quick and the robot will begin mapping the area. It has no problems getting around, even with slight elevation changes between rooms. Editing the map of floor is simple but a little inconvenient since I had to change most of the room borders myself. There are quite a few handy labelling features in the map section such as no go zones, floor types, and elevation changes. If you have long curtains it might struggle to get under them (mine hover about an inch over the ground) since it doesn’t want to cause collisions.It’s easy to set the robot on an automatic schedule and can even set custom cleaning instructions to different areas (vacuum only, mop after vacuum, etc). When it cleans, it’s not too loud and much quieter than a normal vacuum. It manages to pick up most things, but will struggle to pick up some wet hairs if it’s mopping and vacuuming at the same time. It does a decent job getting into corners.In terms of battery life it can go for a little over an hour before needing a recharge, which is enough to do vacuum pass on the main floor of my house.Disposal of dirty water and dirt is easy to remove from the dock (although I disliked that the dirt collection area has specific bags that you need to buy). it’s nice that the robot/dock doesn’t need to be cleaned too often, about once to every two weeks.Overall, it does as it has stated and is handy to have around. It won’t pick up or remove everything from the floor, but it definitely makes weekly cleaning much faster.

I have another robot vacuum by Dreame, and this one feels suspiciously similar. It looks almost identical, and the accessories and even the box they came packed in are identical except for the branding.Having said that, it’s not a bad thing in any way. The vacuum is excellent. It maps rooms quickly and cleans quickly and efficiently as well.It does a great job of vacuuming and mopping floors, and can distinguish between carpet and wood automatically to disable the mops when needed.There are far too many options to mention. To keep it short, I will say that while this falls just short of the Dreame X40 in terms of power and specs, it feels nearly identical in real world use.Highly, highly recommended.
