Perfect replacement battery for Verizon FIOS equipment. Easy to install.
I purchased the Mighty Max 12V 7.3AH battery as a replacement for the backup battery in my 5 year old Verizon FIOS equipment installed in my garage. The phone line is also included thru the fiber optic cable, and the battery backup assures continued use of the phone in the case of a power outage. The old battery had died, and the equipment in the garage was giving me a periodic and annoying warning beep.The battery arrived well packaged. The replacement process was extremely simple. Just pop open the cover on the equipment, remove the old battery, which has a red and black power connector that needs to be pulled off. Remove the protective covers on the the power tabs of the new battery, push in the black and red connectors that were just removed from the old battery, and push the battery in place in the equipment. Done! No more annoying beeps, and the battery status light went from red to green.I have now had this battery in place for a month, and no problems whatsoever!This was a perfect replacement, and much less expensive that getting the same thing from Verizon.The installation is so simple, I cannot imagine paying someone else to do it.

JUNK. Works for only 4 weeks longer than the 1year warranty
Purchased 02-May-2022, and promptly installed in a Verizon FIOS router. Worked fine. It is installed in a dry clean location (typically 65Â°F 40-55% relative humidity).On 02-June-2023 the FIOS router started beeping again about a FAILED battery.Just long enough that they won’t have to honor the warranty.Credit where credit is due â I must respect the skill with which they are cheating us â they engineered it to last *just* past the warranty.Searching again for a new supplier.I’m happy to pay more to not have my time wasted, but these jerks are wasting my time again in just a year.Mighty Max is just a junk marketing-first outfit. KEEP LOOKING

Connectors are smaller than batteries.
Connector will fit on the smaller battery tabs – but may have less surface area – so less current flow. Make sure this connection is tight. Crimping with pliers may be required.

I ordered this after Home Depot disappointed me, by not supplying my order. Did not have in stock. Glad that this was available. Order came in two days. I hope that it has a strong battery life.

Easy drop in replacement battery
This was an easy drop in replacement battery for Verizon FiOS box in garage. It replaced the original Portalac, GS Yuasa Int. PX12072, PXL12072, PWL12V7 that was on the battery. They recommend unplugging the AC power before disconnecting and reconnecting the batteries.
