Fits perfectly to the end of the flexible tube which makes vacuuming dusty bookshelves, electronic items and everything else extremely easy.The bristles are super soft so I’m not afraid to use it anywhere. Plus it’s larger than the the brush the vacuum cleaner came with which makes it very versatile.

Joints did NOT SWIVEL.
The joints on the Miele SUB20 Universal Brush I received WOULD NOT SWIVEL in any directionâboth were fused shut in the straight-line position. Like other reviewers, the fit onto my vacuum was also problematic, requiring brut strength due to poor design, but once connected worked great as long as I set the suction function to âAUTOâ or above.I decided to keep the brush since Iâd already recycled the packaging (who knew to keep a box for a simple brushâplease avoid my mistake). Unfortunately, I didnât realize it didnât swivel until the following day when I first used it. Since I didnât think I could return the brush without the packaging, I decided that keeping a straight-lined brush seemed better than taking a chance on receiving a replacement brush whose joints might keep swiveling out-of-place making it unusable, as other reviewers have warned. I now use the brush successfully for other household tasks (just not atop bookcases which is why I purchased it). Very disappointing.

A great addition to Meile tools
Itâs a great tool for pre-dusting, dog hair removal and general cleanup. Only wish Meile included it in the original purchase!

This dusting brush works great with my Miele vacuum. I do find that the attachment does rotate a bit. When using I apply pressure to the brush and that helps it not rotate so much.

BEWARE – Does not attach like other Miele attachments.
I have several US standard vacuums which require 1.25″ attachments. Miele attachments are normally 1.33″. I like Miele attachments and I can use most of them on my 1.25″ vacuums with an adapter shaped like a napkin ring.I bought this brush, assuming that I could use my Miele adapter. What a shock to see a very large opening at the end of this brush and then a very small opening inside of the large one. At first I wondered if a part was missing. I read the Amazon questions and people were very confused about the same two openings.I assumed that I would probably have to return the brush because I wouldn’t be able to make it work on my vacuums. I finally did figure out how to make it work with an old adapter which fit into the small hole. Then I found a screw-on hose end which fit onto this old adapter. So, with some accommodations, I can make this brush work on all of my vacuums.I like this brush much better than the Miele SUB 10 which is a similar looking brush without the ability to bend. When I tested the SUB 20, for part of the time I had the brush straight (no bends) and it worked very well. My brush stays in the position it is moved to and it can be moved to many different positions. I also tested it bent, with a wand, on my ceiling fans and it was excellent.I think that the Amazon description should have made it very clear that this brush attaches very differently than other Miele attachments. There are no instructions in the box with the attachment which obviously left many Miele owners confused – I noticed that most of the Amazon questions for this brush are about how to attach it to a Miele vacuum.

Great tool
I liked this right out of the box but I had read through the negative reviews and then watched some videos. If you watch the videos you will know how to easily attach it to the different hoses and connectors on your vacuum cleaner and it won’t fall off. And there are two sets of arrows that show you can turn it in different directions in two different places. Just a few minutes of practice to figure that out and you are good to go. I don’t anticipate having any problems using this but if I had not found a video that showed how to attach it and turn it I might not have been able to figure that out on my own.

Love, love this attachment! So many uses as well.
I added this to my Miele attachments recently & I wish I’d have gotten one last year. Wow, the head swivels so you can really brush clean/dust anything so easily with this. The shape is ideal for getting in areas and around things on display as well. It fits beautifully & is probably going to be the most used accessory of all times in my house. Like I said, expensive but well worth it in terms of use. Love it, love it. Excellent Miele quality of course. Worth every penny.
