Overpromise and Underdeliver…
The app for controlling this sweeper was lame to begin with – my $200 shark home sweeper will connect to my home WiFI and send me emails if it has problems, will take itself to its dock and charge itself… Yet somehow Makita makes a nearly $3000.00 version of the same thing that needs me to charge its batteries and swap them out, and instead of connecting to my WiFi I have to be near the sweeper and press buttons on it to wake it up, then connect to it’s wifi hotspot in order to make it do anything – or use the paperweight of a remote that Milwaukee supplied. I tried to make it work for me, but after a recent iOS update I can no longer even connect to the sweeper to be able to make changes that can ONLY be done by the app. I see on the app store that people have said that the app sucks – years ago – and there hasn’t been any recent update.I give up.I want my money back.I’ll wait for someone else to make a quality sweeper that works..
