Surprisingly effective
I have to admit that I was not sure about this product when I bought it. But after having used it, I’m sold! It’s so easy to use, and does a very effective job of cleaning the gunk from the sides of the tank. It can easily navigate corners (its actually kinda of fun to watch it “hop” as you transition to a new side of the tank), and clean-up is a breeze. It allows you to clean all the way down to the gravel line without having to stick a scrub brush in there. Highly recommend to any tank owner.

Worked better than expected
My tank was so scummy, I couldn’t see the fish. This actually worked really well! It does leave the water a tad murky at first, from the loosened already, but it only took about an hour for my filter to take care of that.To be honest.. I didn’t really think it would work at all. Well worth the money I spent!

Love this little gem of a fish tank glass cleaner
I bought the mini size and it’s mighty to me.I’m a first time magnetic scraper user – have a very, very small (5gal) fish tank and I was nothing but pleasantly surprised and frankly astonished – algae grows in little patches on the glass and I usually use magnet every 2-3 days now to keep them from establishing themselves more and enjoyingwatching my little fish population through the clearest glass.Of course I was afraid the two parts wouldn’t stay together with the thick glass in between and was afraid to go anything but very slow and in one direction the first time I used it.The more I used it the more I dared to use more speed and direction changes and even circling, I’m actually enjoying myself cleaning algae off the glass (never thought I would write that down)- the two pieces might not be evenly together all the time and the inside part moves a little up or down or sideways but never came apart so far.Today I decided to try the two rounded front corners I was afraid of doing with it for the first time – I still can’t believe they are now absolutely clean/clear and the two parts didn’t separate when they had to be move more apart going from the side glass over the round corner to the front glass.Actually wished I had a tank that was all glass a around – I have filter box/system in back.I absolutely love this for my little fish tank – much faster than scraping with telescope scrubbing tool (bought one too since I was not sure of magnet adhesion while scrubbing and can’t use magnet in back)Definitely would buy again and I think the price is a bargain. Definitely would gift it to another small tank owner.Totally satisfied with how well this works for me.

Works well on light algae
This works fairly well on light algae growth. I have to pass it over the same area several times to clean it completely. I think it is a little small for my 20 gallon tall but originally bought it for a smaller tank.The magnet is not strong enough to go around corners and will release if pulled out slightly but works ok. I have sand substrate and it will get in between the cleaning block and the glass if I touch bottom. I mainly use it on the front of my tank. I ended up buying a razor cleaner for the sides and back to take care of what the snails donât. I continue to give them a chance to do their job but ð¤·ð¼ââï¸. I also use it to get the very bottom edge along the substrate.

Impressive
I was honestly pleasantly surprised with how well this worked, especially since it was smaller than I had expected. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures of my fish tank because the difference is astounding! My only complaint is that the magnet isn’t strong enough to pull the inside part back if it makes its way to the center of the tank, but honestly that’s not a big deal to me and I would definitely buy this again.
