it does not fit dyson DC16 vacuum cleaner
there are parts at the top and bottom of the filter that are shaped so the filter will fit into the vacuum cleaner. these parts are not shaped the same, they are different from each other. unfortunately, these replacement filters have those 2 parts reversed, so the filter does not fit.

The inside sponge was all I really needed.
Like other reviewers noted, it didn’t fit my Dyson Root 6, but the inside sponge was all I really needed.

Does Not Fit!
I should have read the reviews! This filter is not like the original. It is missing the notch on the bottom tab. The top and bottom tabs look to be reversed. Does not fit!

Wrong design for the DC16.
The original is on the left. If you look at the alignment groove and the alignment hole, they are on the same end. If you look at the LGEGE Pre Filter Pad Cover 2 Pcs Set Compatible with Dyson DC16 the alignment groove is on one end and the alignment hole is at the other. This makes it so it does not fit

Had to use old back because the new one was backwards.

Not for older model DysonDC6
The quality appears to be good, but the plastic frame is made backwards for the older style DC6. The foam filter is what I really needed, so I was only able to use that, which fit perfectly.

When I removed the old filter.. and installed the replacement.. they are made incorrectly.. the plastic holder nubs are on the wrong end. There is only one correct way to install the filter, so that the metal comes in contact with the limit switch for the vacuum to work. These simply won’t work and should be de-listed.
