The tube is very stiff and not durable
Tl;dr the tube get holes knocked in it by the mulched leaves and stems hitting it. Failed within about 60 minutes of sucking up leaves in my well manicured yard. I wasnât sucking up rocks, sticks, mulch – just leaves off of grass. After 10 minutes the tube has a hole in it. I patch it with tape. Repeat about 10 times in the next hour of use. Box it back up and return it. Very poor quality tube. The fitting that mates to the mulcher was good. The fabric hood end was okay but the cam lock was not strong enough and the positive pressure was too much making the cam loosen and blow off. I had to tighten it then tie a knot. Then untie the knot when I wanted to remove the hood to dump the bin.1/5 stars would not recommend. Buy the toro or worx version.

This worked
This worked. I was going to make this device but right when I was getting ready to make my invention. I saw the listing and I was hooked. One review mentioned they could not get the top to stay on. I just picked up a few hand clamps. All set! After filling a dozen bags. I was thinking there, has to be even a better / faster way to to preform the task. Next, Iâll get a thick heavy garbage barrel with wheels. Easier for pulling and moving. 33 gallon should work , to help keep for use in the city, be able to use bio bags or the paper bags. Using a steel skeleton , place bio or paper bags. 33 gallon, skeleton of the 33 gallon inside garbage can , secure bio or paper bags to inside steel skeleton. Attach above house and bag to steel skeleton..I Need an idea for ventilation on the garage can. That way I coiuld get a lid for the garbage can. And than use it as storage for all the extra items.

Hose is NOT very Flexible
Attachment to blower/shredder and to container was quite a work out. Don’t give up!The Hose is VERY hard, not very flexible. The Hose does not expand well, which causes the collection container to constantly tip over. I hope it starts to relax and expand more. (note: It was about 60°F when I tried to use it. Might work better in warmer weather.)

Attaching the tube to the coupling is VERY DIFFICULT.
I had to heat up the tube with a hair dryer to soften up the tube so that it would slide over the coupling. Secured it with a tie wrap. Time will tell how well it holds. It was back ordered last winter when I ordered it. Didn’t arrive until after ALL THE LEAVES were already picked up, so I haven’t used it this year. Toro was NO help in offering suggestions on getting the tube to attach to the coupling.

Pain in the butt to use
I had a very hard time keeping the hose cover on! It kept blowing off no matter what I used!! I used a canvas leaf bag that was shown in the pictures, I used a light weight trash can! I tightened the string as tight as I could get it too!!! I changed the speed of the machine to a lower setting and no matter what I did â¦.. it just popped right off !!It is absolutely useless !!!!

Not what I was hoping for
It worked most the time, but the hose clogs a lot. You need this thing picking up the smallest leaves. No large maple or oak leaves, forget about it.

A better way to use the hose and trash can system
I didnât like how difficult it was to seal to the top of a trash can but liked the idea of collecting leaves without using the bag. I built a device that works well out of a somewhat sturdy trash can. I needed to vent the air out without blowing leaves everywhere. I made a vent out of weed control fabric. I made the lid out of plywood, foam seal and used ratchet straps to keep the lid tight. I cut the hole in the lid for the hose and notched it to keep the hose connected. I found I can get 8 to 10 bags into this bin I collect leaves by lying the vacuum on the ground and rake the leaves into it after Iâve blown them into a pile. I can sit in my lawn chair and feed the leaves into the input with a take. Great product however. I have a number of word tools and they all work as designed.

Hose is too short & hard.
Cloth cover is fine, tube is too short & not flexible to work with.
