Works like a charm!
It took me just a bit of time to figure out how to put it all together on my old Bosch. But once I figured that out, it was great! So glad I got it. Really easy to use. My first time using it, I was making Borscht, and the recipe called for lots of shredded beets, carrots, beets, etc. SO easy compared to my previous shredder.

This is fantastic!
I love the attachments for my Bosch mixer. I just got the citrus juicer attachment and fell in love with it (after my other citrus juicer died). I wondered why I was spending money on all of these other separate appliances when Bosch makes such great attachments (the Bosch mixer motor is more heavy duty than any of my other appliance motors…at least it seems so, since they all seem to die).When this came from Amazon, I thought it was missing the pin cap, I called Bosch, and they sent me a new one quickly. Putting it together, I realized that the pin cap was actually already in the lid (so check that before you call them).I love that this attaches right to my existing bowl (I have the older model so it works fine on them as well). It is a little cumbersome to attach the lid (getting the notches on the lid to go into the grooves on the bowl has been difficult, for some reason), but it’s not awful enough for me to take away a star. When my cheese grates, it grates to the right side of the bowl and I have to shake it if I want to shred more in there or take off the lid to pull out or move the cheese. Again, a little hiccup but, considering I can shred way more at a time than when using my old food processor, I’m totally fine with it.Now I’ve got to look at all of the other useful attachments and put them on my wish list. I love my Bosch!

Broken after 2nd use. Plastic snapped whike slicing carrots. Save your money, do not buy.

Get all metal pieces if you can.
This is perfect for me (I’m very clumsy when it comes to grating cheese by hand. I usually get a fingernail grated off at some point). I do have to say though, I was using the small grater, and I wasn’t pushing the cheese down very hard. The entire grater pieces got off track, and almost went flying off! It scared me pretty bad. I had it on the highest speed. It warped one of the pieces to the point we couldn’t use it anymore (thankfully, we have a few more of the same piece).My husband grew up with a Bosch mixer. His mom had this attachment, and apparently, all of the now plastic pieces used to be metal….This is one reason I didn’t go with a Kitchenaid, as I had read that the inside gears of a Kitchenaid mixer are now plastic. I’m pretty disappointed in the Bosch for this reason, but I’m still pleased with my purchase.

Does the job but very squeaky.
Works great but the blades are very squeaky and loud.

The Bosch is great, I have been using it ever since I received it! Absolutely love it!!
