    Does its job!
Works well and pulls a good little vacuum. Just be careful you don’t get any moisture trying to travel through the hose.

Probably good for very basic chemistry uses. Just not enough for my intended purpose.
Probably great for BASIC vac purposes. I couldn’t get it to pull enough vac on anything other than ethanol I had physically filtered to be of any use to me .

    DOESN’T suck … and that’s a problem for a vacuum pump!
This thing was terrible. It created practically no suction, and yet paradoxically just enough suction to cause the garbage rubber tubing to collapse. How can one product suck so much, yet so little, at the same time?

Gets the job done for the price.
After using a hand vacuum pump for years picked this up because of the price. Works great with my funnel and set up for refining. Will wait to see how it holds up but for now I’m impressed with how well it performed.

    Not happy with
This product is extremely loud and comes with very limited pieces to connect it I don’t see this product lasting very long whether it dies on its own or whether I help it die it’s not going to last very long so that’s about all I can say

    Great value
I thought that for the price I paid for this it would work very well at all. To my delight it surprised me with just how well it does work. It’s not fast, but I am a hobbyist and don’t run huge batches and it works great.

    Little to no suction.
I should have re-ordered another unit I had purchased, which was good and lasted two years. This item is junk, in my opinion. It has no suction, and, it takes forever to get a sample. I would not buy it, and I can not return it because it’s way past doing so. Buy almost anything else.

Pump is OK, provided tubing is useless
The pump is quiet and pulls moderate vacuum for light work. Provided vinyl tubing is totally worthless. The tubing came folded with dozen kinks in the line and the wall is too thin to withstand even slight vacuum. Result: no vacuum at the working end because the tubing collapses shut. Using decent quality tubing and keeping it short will dampen the pulses and help pull a stronger vacuum. Haven’t used it long enough to assess its longevity. Experimented with it as a vacuum source for home “Purewick” system and it seems to pull just enough vacuum to work with 10Ft long line hooked up to 1200cc collection container and a bacterial filter. 5L/Min pumping rate seems a little optimistic, probably based on open circuit air volume. Actual pumping rate for open circuit fluid using vacuum to pull water into a collection container at zero elevation is closer to 2-3 Liters /min.

I don’t dislike nothing of the product, it’s very efficient for my lab, great price and works great. I use it to filter solutions for my skin serums.

  12. Amazing Customer

Bought this as amazon recommended it for the filter I bought. Unfortunately, the connector is WAY too small for the hose that came with the filter, and there is no adapter.

It literally takes hours to pull 250 ml water through a Buchner funnel with no filter……
