Good Suction, Easy to Move Around, Decent Shop Vac
I ordered this Koblenz shop vac to use in my shop, for vacuuming out my cars, and just general use around the house. I was happily surprised at the suction power. My expectations were low as it is not a huge unit, although it is rated at 5.5hp. It was definitely more powerful than I expected for a smaller unit.Iâve got a ~30 year old Craftsman 5.0hp that I compared it to and itâs close to that one but not quite as powerful. The hoses arenât as large of a diameter as the old Craftsman which will limit the size of items it can suck up. Also, I think the way motors are rated these days is different but that at least gives you some comparison.Iâm very happy with the Koblenz as it is almost the suction power of my old Craftsman but much easier to move around at about 1/2 the size. I posted a video of using it to suck up some sawdust from my radial arm saw along with vacuuming out my 4Runner. It did a fine job on both and I have no major complaints. I also vacuumed the shop floor, an entry door rug (contractor type from Samâs Club), and more but didnât bother videoing all the other work. I figured what I did was more than enough for you to get an idea of how loud it it is and how well it suctions stuff up. It worked good everywhere Iâve used it and I continue to use it whenever I need it.You can see in the first part of video that the hose fits pretty lose to the motor. At first, I thought this loose fit was going to be an issue but it is not. I donât know why they made it fit that loose but all seemed to work just fine.Putting on the wheels was super easy. Just push them in to the base and it doesnât take a lot of force. I âkind ofâ (not really) like being able to clip the attachments to the main body. My gripe is that it doesnât take much to knock them off as you move it around. I had to put them back on 3 or 4 times as I worked around the shop with it. That part is not so great.Overall, itâs a good shop vac and Iâm happy with it. Iâve got no major complaints. I just need to get some spare filters to keep on hand. I did post some pictures with the measurements of the included filter.

I absolutely loved this when it was new. Like any new toy ð¤£ sadly it lasted a little over 3 months. Itâs used for my house. Not like itâs being used commercially. Stick with the popular brands! They respond to you unlike this company.

Guys, It is not for home use, especially where carpet is used. It is also so noisy and not good for apartments. It is for construction workers.

Heavy duty with great suction.
I was not familiar with this brand when I got this vac, but boy am I a fan now.I use this vac for a variety of purposes, both wet and dry. It is outstanding for vacuuming out our vehicles as well as cleaning up around the shop after doing some woodworking. It makes short work of everything that I have needed to clean up.I really like the wide base design, making it far more tip-resistant that some other vacs that I have had over the years. It is very maneuverable and rolls with ease. At 5.5HP, it’s got plenty of gusto to pick up most everything you throw at it. Surprisingly, even at that horsepower, this unit is quieter than most others that I have had in the same power range. At 1 7/8″, the hose is slightly smaller in diameter than some models, but I don’t think I have ever tried to vacuum up anything that big anyway. It does have the option of being a blower as well by switching the hose around, but I have never had the need to try that capability. It comes with a nice variety of attachments, but I do wish that it had the ability to store them all on the unit.All in all, I find that this is an excellent unit and a very reasonable price. I have zero regrets with this purchase.

Es la segunda aspiradora que compro de la marca koblenz, y me salio con el mismo problema (otro modelo diferente), una fuga de aire a lado. Pregunte a koblenz, no debe de salir aire por la rendija de a lado, la voy a regresar. Pero dejando de lado la fuga de aire, tiene buena potencia y buenos accesorios
