No suction power
I was really hoping that this vacuum would be good for all around use. My experience with Kenmore in the past was great. This vacuum was a dud! Very little suction power and bags blocked the power more. After only a few months of light use the suctin stopped all together. I am still waiting for the manufacturer to honor the warranty and repair or replace this unit.Very Very disappointed!!

Works great but needs improvements
I love this little vacuum but both times the brass parts of the plug bend and snap off easily. When youâre vacuuming sometimes the cord just gets to the end. I donât have super large house, just a 2 bed 2 bath ranch and still it easily reaches the end of the card, so you have to plug and and unplug constantly which is annoying, the plug needs to be stringers make it a more durable three prong or something pleaseeeee.Also, make the wheels on the front of the vacuum bigger for better maneuverability over thresholds and carpets, right now she just gets stuck everywhere and hates corners etc. The auto plug rewind also needs to be a little stronger. It failed on my first one and is weak on the second one. One last thing, the telescopic tube gets larger debris like animal shavings and bits of hay stuck in it. This is sort of like a shop vac but for the house and might as well make sure it operates like one. Now to see about replacing that plug, I donât want to buy number three but we have a little homestead and a decent vacuum is a necessity.Other than those issues I really do love it.

Love this
I’ve owned other shop vacs but this one is by far the best. Excellent suction. Good capacity. We have 3 Malamutes so I can assure you it does a great job with pet hair. We also have cats and it does a fabulous job picking up the loose litter. I suffer the hose end coming off. It wasn’t a big deal it will screw back on. I didn’t even put adhesive on it and it’s stayed through 6 months of near constant use.I’ve used it on my car. Workshop. Home. It’s a great vacuum.

The best ever !
I bought this because it’s cheaper than a carpet cleaner and it works to clean out your entire vehicle and shampoo it.Way cheaper than going to detailing car place.As you can see in the picture, it sits out all the time because we use it all the time.Great price and great brand definitely recommend !

After buying a Bissell stick vacuum less than two years ago (which had no decent suction power and it broke a few days ago), I was looking for something with good suction and found this Kenmore. It’s a neat looking vacuum and very easy to assemble and disassemble and make it work. However, now I have a vacuum with too much suction power, if you can believe that. I’m a strong man with height of 6 feet two inches and I have to exert a lot of strength when vacuuming with it because the broom literally sticks to the floor !

Obsessed with this vacuum
I am obsessed with this vacuum! I have used it several times since purchasing about a month ago, and havenât run into any issues with it. I have carpet and vinyl flooring and it works great for both. Iâve used it to vacuum furniture, walls, baseboardsâ¦ everything. I let my mom borrow it and she loved it so much sheâs going to buy one for herself! Itâs lightweight and easy to carry up and down stairs. Easy to put together. Great suctioning power. I love this little vacuum!

Best I’ve found in 40 years
I purchased this 1 year ago now. I love love love it. Years ago I had one much like it, but it was steel (those days are gone) and was a high end vacuum. I also had a house with central vacuum way back when which was cool but both of those actually cost much more than this. This Kenmore canister vac is everything it claims and more. It is easily maneuverable, lightweight, powerful suction, long power cord that recoils with a push button, extension wand easily lengthened or retracted, nice long vacuum hose let’s you reach anywhere. I’ve had no issues with anything breaking or cracking or malfunctioning and frankly I’m not gentle with it so I’d call it quite durable. Dry vacuum or wet vacuum, use as a house vac and a shop vac. You can use a bag for the house vacuuming, the bags are quite large and hold a lot, and it will absolutely kick out no dust on you. Or use no bag, shop vac style. Take out the bag and filter and use it to pick up a wet mess. I can’t praise it enough especially compared to whatever else is out there. I’ve gone through many other vacuums over the years, all with known names and promises of high quality, but this is the only one I’ve been happy with in the last 40 years.

Good simple vac
This review is for the KW3050The good: Super lightweight, manuverable, fairly quiet (only scared 1 of the cats), EXCELLENT on hardwood floors, fits nicely in my utility closet, and good selection of tools. The larger head has pads that keep it from scratching my floors. Suction is so good it made cleaning smaller area rugs a bit difficult. Love that it uses dust bags. Simple plastic hose will make it easier to clean when necessary. Easily gets under beds and most furniture.The bad: Cord retractor doesn’t work, but not a big enough deal to send it back. Couldn’t figure out how to attach the 2 hose holder things. Hose is stiff, but that was expected. Floor attachment not very secure. Back heavy so it has a tendency to tip back. Power cord could be longer.Overall: Great little basic vac for the price. Definitely more useful than a stick or bagless vac with the square footage of hardwood I have to cover. Not sure how good it would be for carpets. Took off a star for the bad retractor and useless hose holders.

I was very pleasantly surprised.
My new Kenmore vacuum cleaner was very easy to put together out of the box. I primarily wanted it for use in the garage, cleaning the floor and the cars. I like the fact that it has a bag so the filter doesn’t get filthy. I like the fact that it will pick up water if I ever need it to. I was very pleasantly surprised by the suction, as well as the fact that it is not a screamer. It sounds kind of like my mothers vacuum cleaner did 50 years ago. All the attachments including the pipes fit right on the vacuum for storage. This vacuum has a blower feature, which is kind of rare today. I did use this machine in the house to blow the refrigerator coils clean. That I used the suction hose to vacuum up the dust that came out. It’s very lightweight, I wish the cord was a little longer, but I knew when I bought that it was only 15 feet. I am very happy with my purchase.
