Great suction
What I Like: It picks up great on both carpet and hard flooring. It’s easy to dump the dust bin. It has a long cord.What I Don’t Like: My last vacuum was self-propelled and this one is not, so it is hard to push on carpet. It doesn’t have any adjustment for carpet height. It doesn’t have a light. It could have a better rubber bumper around it so it wouldn’t harm furniture when you accidently bump into it.

** UPDATE, I’VE OWNED THIS FOR 4 MONTHS AND THE ROLLER BRUSH STOPPED GETTING POWER. NOW THE MAIN MOTOR NO LONGER WORKS! CONTACTING KENMORE AND SELLER TO SEE IF THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!Called Amazon on Monday, they said contact the seller, if they don’t stand behind the product Amazon will.Seller said Amazon needs to process claim. Called Amazon back today and they connected me with Kenmore manufacturing.Kenmore customer service employee was EXTREMELY RUDE. Accused me of getting something stuck in the brush and burning the motor up! Um, I’m 52 I know how to run a vaccum cleaner properly!! When I insisted that didn’t happen, she put me on hold for 47 minutes then she hung up! I called Amazon back, pretty irritated at this point. They tried to say it was too late for return, but I was pretty insistent especially after being told by the 1st guy Amazon will back it.They are going to accept the return. I’m sorry but a $200 vaccum should last longer than 4 months! And we don’t even have carpeting, we have tile and wood floors.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!I went with a Miele and I love it.I’m sick of overpriced junk vaccums.This vaccume sucks..literally lol!I love the suction power, and it practically glides by itself. I also like the attachments, the bristle brush works great on baseboards.Now the cons, I don’t like the feel of the foot release. I feel like I’m going to break it, a foot button release would be better.Also the handle is heavy and awkward to pull out. Machine not quick and easy to use.

Great Vacuum at the Price
Great vacuum at a decent price. I don’t want to spend more than $250 on a vacuum and the Shark I got at Costco died after only a few months (thank goodness for their return policy). I figured my grandparents have had Kenmore products for decades and after doing some research it sounds like this is a Panasonic design being built under license by Cleva. Regardless of its background, this vacuum has excellent suction and very good serviceability. If it gets clogged, it has a bypass valve that prevents overheating and makes it super easy to diagnose and fix. The attachments are thoughtful and well-made, and overall it’s much more satisfying to use than the broken Shark that it replaced. I’m not sure about the dust-plume complaints when emptying it, it’s just like any other bagless I’ve had in the past from Bissell, Shark, Dirt Devil, etc. etc. If you just empty it outside into a plastic bag then it’s fine.edit: One year later and I continue to not have any complaints. Recently I took it apart and washed all the filters and cleaned the brushroller and it sucks even more powerfully than ever. With any luck this vacuum could last a decade with a bit of regular maintenance.

Great
Kinda shocked at this negative reviews on this since I’ve been using it for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say. Sure, the cord could be a bit longer and the latch to secure it is a bit loose, but overall I dare to say I’ve enjoyed vacuuming since purchasing it. It’s easy to empty the filter and the brush roller disassembles nicely for cleaning. Being able to detach the handle and get into corners by clicking the button without bending over is game changer. And it looks pretty.

Great vacuum
I bought this because I thought my other vacuum cleaner was broken but was only a reset switch that needed to be pushed. Now it works great and my new one works great and is even a little quieter than my older one I’m using it in my downstairs so I don’t have to take the vacuum up and down the stairs all the time so I don’t feel too bad about having two vacuum cleaners great deal on the price

Close but no . . .
There’s a lot to like but the dislikes are big-1. Does NOT height adjust. Ok on my wood floor but I have thick carpet and it’s literally hard to push on it. This is a major problem.; 2. Needs a light on front (didn’t know how much I need this until I didn’t have it); 3. I wish there was somewhere to store parts or at least the crevice tool on vacuum, it’s a pain to have to attach instead of just being on the end you pull out or at least be stored ON the vacuum. 4. Very hard to to stairs–heavy and big. Too bad, could’ve been a great vacuum. . .

A nice vacuum for a reasonable price.
I live alone, and only have two carpeted rooms, but I also have long hair and three dogs so there is more cleaning involved than you would think. This vacuum is not overly large and cumbersome. I like it’s lighter weight and maneuverability. It has good suction and sweeps well on the carpet, but I also do use it sometimes on the uncarpeted areas. I like the ease of use: the power button at the top of the vacuum, the dirt cup visibility and ease of removal for emptying, the long power cord, the secure place to store the attachments, and the button release for the extension wand…I also really love the color. Vacuum sweepers don’t have to be ugly. I happen to like pastels and find that vacuums are often red, black, and other dark colors. This one is a really pretty mint/pistachio green. Kenmore has always made products that were both attractive and well made. I am expecting this one will be, as well.

Kenmore rarely disappoints and it didnât this time.
Iâve always loved my Kenmore appliances and all but mourned when my stove quit after years and I couldnât get another. Read reviews from non-Amazon sources and chose this one. So happy with it. Great suction, easy to release canister. It is a little heavy but itâs ok.very pleased with the job it does.
