Bought allot of vacuums in my life. Everything you worry about with a vacuum is solved in this one. It does all the tricks and then some. If you watch the videos on this one you’ll see just how vast the array mechanisms on this Kenmore really are.Favorite features, self propel. Yeah, just like the lawn mowers that move forward for you, this Kenmore does the same because of the rotating bar and the suction strength. It really deep cleans. Second favorite feature is the swivel action. It can turn on a dime without allot of back and forth to get where you want. One turn of your wrist and it heads the opposite direction. The length of the hose is perfect! the ability to use the items that come with the machine, are easy to attach and use. The filter is perfect, oh and there’s this incredible light that stays green to let you know about your filter. It will tell you when the filter is so full that it’s slowing down the suction power. Throw the filter in the wash or hand wash, let it dry and you’re back in business. With this Kenmore you’ve bought a machine that finally takes care of YOU. I’m done babying and working on a machine that I fight the cord, the machine, or the low suction.If you’ve got a non-carpeted area, you can walk right into that room with the machine on full blast, it won’t shoot the particles out the back. The cord let me move into a third room and I was so happy to be done with the chore no one likes. Sweat factor 1 to 10, about a 3. Don’t look any further, this is one.Tell ’em Boss sent you.

This is a fantastic vacuum! Set up quickly, I needed a screwdriver for the one and only screw. This vacuum has a cool design that lets me get under chairs, my sofa and tables where I used to have to use an attachment. Powerful suction and this zips around my bare floors like a forklift driver. It came very well packed in a very sturdy box that became an instant ottoman. After setting it up I vacuumed my place and I love how easy the bagless container is to empty. What a great price! Super powerful & lightweight!
If you are looking for a powerful, lightweight vacuum at a decent price, this Kenmore Bagless Upright is for you! I’ve owned maybe 20 vacuums in my life, and this is by far the best pet hair & dust grabber. You will be AMAZED at what it picks up! And it’s so lightweight, you can easily take it up and down stairs! The cord is good and long, and I could travel up a full set of stairs (with a turned landing) without having to re-plug. On top of that, it has a wide handheld tool that makes quick work of furniture and stair treads due to its width. Now, the vacuum is not perfect. One shortcoming is that my favorite tool, that wide handheld attachment, does not store on board. In my mind, this is a rather major design oversight! That being said, I simply bought mesh drawstring bags on Amazon and attached one to the handle (see image). It’s easier than carrying the separate attachment up and down stairs, and I use the tool a lot. The mesh bag does bounce around a bit while I’m vacuuming, but does not interfere with function.I’ve had lots of vacuums at varying price points. This little Kenmore works better than the $500 vacuum I used to have. It’s a 5 star performance and value with a 4-star design because of the lack of tool storage.

Great Vacuum – Just What I wanted!
I bought this vacuum to replace a 10 yr old Dyson (ball) that was just getting too heavy for me and was acting up. Rather than put money into repairs, I purchased this Kenmore (a well known name to me). I read sooooo many reviews from various top selling vacuums before deciding on this particular vacuum, but I’m glad I did! I’ve used it every other day for a week now and I will try to list my “Pro’s” and “Con’s” for you. BTW, I am 5’3″, 68 years young and active. I do have a “con” when it is in the carpet mode, as it takes a bit of strength to pull it back when in use. Going forward is a breeze, but pulling it back requires some muscle and by the time I vacuumed my LR, hall and 3 BR’s of carpet, my shoulder was getting sore. Of course, it could be the nap of my carpet and not the fault of the vacuum. For “Pro’s”: I love the ease of the swivel, the ease of switching from hard floors to carpet, the suction, the headlights (but they only work in the carpet mode so that’s a “con” – why don’t they work in hard floor mode Kenmore?), the ease of using the one, on-board tool, the length of the cleaning hose and the length of the electrical cord which is held up on the handle by a secure notch, as opposed to constantly tripping over it or vacuuming over it, and the ease of emptying the clear cannister. The filters look simple to get to and when I decide it is truly a “keeper”, I will order a set of replacement filters so that one set can be drying while the other set is in use. If I still had a 2-story house, I would not be willing to haul this vacuum up and down the stairs, but it works great for my needs in a ranch style home. One other “con” is that it only comes with 2 tools and they both do not fit on-board (only1 does and not very securely) and there is a brush a third of the way down on both tools, encircling the tool, that has no use whatsoever that I can figure out – – It does not move and is just “there”. I also wish it had a solid, tubular shaped “extender” tool between the cleaning hose and the attachments. You have to just directly attach the attachments to the bendable hose. I know this was lengthy but I know I appreciate thorough reviews when I am researching something, so I hope this honest review is helpful. Based on my “Con” list I only give it 4 stars.

We were very pleased with this vacuum. The suction is powerful, the swivel makes it easy to maneuver, it has a long cord, a comfortable handle, and it is simple to empty and clean. Also has the Hepa filter which is nice. Our carpets look professionally done after using!

My old vacuum broke (50$ Bissell that worked great for me for years) and I decided it was time to invest a bit more into a new one. I did a lot of research reading reviews on multiple brands and styles. I decided to go with this one because the reviews were great – even the bad ones can only complain the suction is too much for their liking. In my eyes that wasn’t a bad review, I think people are just improperly using their vacuum. There is even a piece that you swivel to control suction power. Not to mention this is the first vacuum to actually work on hard floor without just spinning the dirt everywhere. I am blown away after one use. The attached picture is what this picked up from my front entrance area rug. It looks like I haven’t even been vacuuming that’s how much stuff came out. Very pleased with this purchase and I feel the price is incredible for the power you get. There are reviews stating its hard to maneuver and I’m unsure why they felt this way as I find it glides with such ease and moves very smoothly. If anything changes with more use I will be sure to update my review. For now though, extremely blown away!

We moved into a condo and needed a new vacuum (our previous home had central vac.) We have about a 1000 square feet of rug and this vacuum really works for us. It maneuvers very easily. It’s light. Cannister empties really easily and suction is great. I put it together in about 10 minutes – no problems. We’ve had it now about 6 months and I’m totally satisfied with it. It works!
