Nice adapter
I needed something to adapt the proprietary to some old, but good, accessories I have. This worked nicely. It also allows me to more easily use my Dyson V8 to pull air out of those vacuum storage bags.

There are two different types (and sizes). Only one of them worked on my Dyson Vacuum (handheld), which I was satisfied with for the purpose I needed it for. The price couldn’t be beat!!!!

Works, but keeps coming loose
Works with my Dyson v10 to attach a third party hard floor roller. But whenever you try and rotate the head, the latching mechanism isnât strong enough and detaches. Putting up with it but definitely not the best.

This didn’t work for us as a viable V6 to V10 adapter.
I returned this for a refund. I found that the adapter was too tight for our old V6 attachments. Also, the red button didn’t “click” into the new V10 meaning that you would have to hold the adapter to make sure that it didn’t fall out of the Dyson. Also note that this is for non-electrical attachments only.

Adapts my Dyson DC series attachment to fit my V series cordless vacuum
I have a Dyson v7 cordless vacuum, and I wanted to find a wide soft bristle attachment to vacuum my hardwood floors without using an attachment with a beater bar that can scratch and dull the hardwood. Very thankful to find this adapter. It was the only one I was able to find to convert the Dyson articulating hard floor tool (commonly used with the Dyson DC series vacuums) to fit my V series cordless, specifically a v7. Since the adapter is manufactured by a company other than Dyson, the fit leaves just a little to be desired. It does fit and clicks into place with a hard push, not as easy as my Dyson attachments, but it works. I love my Dyson cordless and my hardwood floors, so I’m happy this adapter was available as a solution to my need.

This adapter product is a two piece set. When you click the hose end into the hose adapter, it is a weak click and a loose fit. The two pieces in this product do not fit together well and the first time I used it to vacuum my rug, within a few minutes the two pieces would move apart, and make a clicking sound and then as you can see the click part itself broke. I do not recommend this product at all.
