Works great but not a super easy replacement!
The battery is great! My daughter says it might even last better than when the Switch was new.Only gotcha is the existing battery is a super booger to remove! No, that’s not a problem with purchasing this but I am saying don’t expect to get this battery and quickly (or easily) replace the old one.1) First off there are LOTS of screws that will need to be removed to open the device and get at the existing battery. I recommend taping them in small groups to paper and write where they came from next to them on the paper. Helps to not lose them and ensures they make it back to the correct places, which is important because they are various lengths.2) Have some quality thermal-paste on hand! You will have to remove a large heat-shield to get to the battery and it has thermal-paste between it and a thermal conductor under it, and the old paste should be cleaned up and replaced to ensure proper heat transfer.3) The old battery is a super booger to remove! If you try to pry it out you may damage your system or possibly rupture the old battery causing it to possibly catch fire. Use a thin but sturdy plastic material to wedge under the old battery and slide it back and forth to saw away at the adhesive under it. Yes, this is slow going and a little tiring but it is the best way to ensure you don’t destroy anything.4) Finally when installing the old battery, do future you a favor and don’t use a ton of adhesive to put the new battery in place. Honestly I think the battery would be fine with no adhesive, but I put a little bit in just to help hold the battery perfectly still.

DOES NOT WORK
I purchased this for my daughterâs Switch Lite. I had a computer business install it. Delays put it past the return window. The battery doesnât not work and Iâm out the full cost. Good job people.

Works so far
Install took about an hour. Takes 5 minutes to get to the battery and about 30 minutes of fighting the glue holding it in. Device powered and charged as expected. Only complaint was the tools were exactly what I expected. Cheap. Pry bar and pick are fine but will want a better driver as the ones provided feel like they will cam out a screw or break the tip without much convincing needed.

Works well
My 13 year old son was able to watch a YouTube video and follow along and replace the battery. If came with all the tools necessary and the battery has help up well.

Doesnât hold charge
Installation was good and battery fit well but charge drained very fast. 1% every 30 seconds with the switch on the main menu.

Easy to use
This kit made it easy to take apart my switch and put in a new battery! Make sure your not afraid to get the old battery out it’s tough!
