Now the Roomba i3+ EVO robot vacuum is smarter than ever, learning and mapping your home room-by-room so it can clean the room you want, when you want—with 10x the power-lifting suction and Premium 3-Stage Cleaning system. Powered by iRobot OS, it stays one step ahead of everyday messes, by learning your life and suggesting cleaning schedules—to clean when you’re out enjoying life. On-demand cleaning is only a command away, with Google assistant and Alexa compatibility that let you direct your robot to messes right when they happen. With Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal, Roomba will return itself to the base when the bin is full, automatically empty and resume cleaning, so you don’t have to think about emptying the bin for months at a time. (Compared to the Roomba 600 series cleaning system).
AUTOMATICALLY EMPTIES ITS BIN ON IT’S OWN FOR UP TO 60 DAYS. Cleans up after itself, emptying its Vacuum Bin into an enclosed bag that holds up to 60 days of debris, which means two whole months of not thinking about vacuuming.
FOCUSES ON DIRT. Proprietary Dirt Detect Technology allows the Roomba i3+ robot to detect dirtier areas of your home and clean them more thoroughly when the Vacuum Bin is installed.
NEAT ROWS FOR A MORE THOROUGH CLEAN. Advanced navigation and 2 cleaning passes allows Roomba robot to navigate your home in neat, efficient rows for a wall-to wall clean without missing a spot. With overlapping passes, your robot purposefully & logically cleans in parallel lines across multiple floor types.
CLEANS THE ROOMS YOU WANT, WHEN YOU WANT. Learns your home and creates an Imprint Smart Map so you can direct it to clean any room you want, any time you want—either on a set schedule or in the moment.
MORE THOUGHTFUL THAN YOU THOUGHT – The Roomba i3+ takes vacuuming off your mind with personalized cleaning suggestions powered by the unique intelligence of iRobot OS. Learns your habits and your routines.
PERFECT FOR HOMES WITH PETS – Instead of using a single bristle brush, Roomba i3+ uses Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes that flex to adjust to different floor types and avoid getting tangled with pet hair.
CLEANS WHERE YOU TELL IT TO CLEAN. Simply pair Roomba i3+ robot vacuum with Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant-enabled devices and tell it to clean the kitchen, living room, or every room.
FOR PROPER SETUP & OPERATION. The Roomba Combo i3+ robot requires a 2.4 GHz network for setup and operation. After setup, keep your robot on 2.4GHz for operation; your phone can return to 5GHz.
COMPLETE CONTROL IN YOUR HANDS. iRobot OS works together with the iRobot Home app to make cleaning easier and more personalized—all with less effort, so you have more time to do the things you love.

Works fine and cleans thoroughly
This vacuum mapped the whole house and cleans efficiently. The self emptying basin is okay. Some debris get stuck in the vacuum container and require manual removal.

Worst of my 3 Roombas
I have had 3 Roombas, all of which have been similar and from the same Roomba Robot family (i). iRobot has improved the vacuum capacity; however, it has failed miserably at the noise volume and maneuverability of their vacuums.Cons: This one is as loud as the first Roomba that I bought in 2010. It gets stuck more easily than ANY other Roomba I have had. It is non-responsive to commands through the smart system intermittently and error messages do not come through correctly via the application. So both smart management through Alexa and management through the iRobot application have been ineffective. It randomly stops its cleaning while fully charged. I am considering returning it and asking for a refund. Regarding the getting stuck: this Roomba likes to try and clean something but then does not, like other robots, try backing up or maneuvering off – it gets itself stuck on angled precipices. Also, it has a thing for dog bones – while other Roombas would push these same bones around or climb over them, this Roomba likes to choke on them. Literally. He gets the bone stuck and then he stops working. The error messages are not clear, either.Pros: it does run in a more predictable pattern than the first early Roomba who was pure chaos. It does usually self-empty – however, in relation to that, somehow my dog hair is clogging the process (and I don’t have big or hairy dogs), and I am now manually cleaning the tower and robot.Personal Reflection: I didn’t realize it would be as bad as it is, and I’m wondering about returning it. I’ve done trouble shooting to no avail yet. So the question then becomes whether it will suffice for what it is needed or whether it is a waste of money due to moderate performance and need for continual attention. In general, I strongly recommend AGAINST purchasing this model. It is as effective as a $50 robot vacuum. Shame, iRobot, for putting this on the market.

Great for vacuuming up hair
Auto empty is time saving and dust less. I have long hair and I enjoy sewing so hair and threads are always everywhere. The robot is easy to clean for both hair and threads. They wrap around the edge brush and rollers but both are easy to remove, clean and replace. The screw for loosening the edge brush is tight. You need an old fashioned flat head screwdriver with thick head and some elbow grease. But, it is much easier than cleaning brushes on a vacuum cleaner. As for dog hair, itâs a doggone dream. It fits under my furniture and sweeps up dirt. I have recovered a few things I did not know were missing from under the furniture. The robot pushes it out with ease. I pick up before it runs to ensure it has full range and so far it hasnât caught on anything.Good suction. It has to recharge itself midway on approximately 1300 sq ft but it doesnât take any effort on my part.

We have 2 now. Nota perfect job. But close to it. The properties look better having them.

Terrible. People seriously, this is cleaning theater. Nothing more.
We have a cheap random roomba that picks up and entire bin full of pet hair, food particles, lint etc with each run.So when I needed one for a 1k single floor camp, picking up the i3 on prime deal was a no brainer. It sucks! Or I should say it doesn’t suck and that’s half the problem. It also won’t pickup pieces of dog food, small fall leaf remnants, grass, lint laying on a carpet. But why?The suction is far less. Likely to advertise better battery power. The two rubber beaters do nothing. They won’t pickup lint, dog food, grass. This thing just runs things deeper into carpet. Worse, 90 percent of our floor is hardwood lol. It misses everything in the corners they the random cheap one got, it runs right over dogfood. It’s literally useless as I have to go and broom or vacuum areas this obviously missed. I spent more time searching for misses and sweeping manually rather than just running the vacuum and sweeping out the corners. Now I know why it’s so cheap. No option to increase suction or add an ACTUAL brush that has been know to work since the invention of vacuums. Nope. The amount of dirt this has picked up was a handful. Three full runs. One run of our old random dumb Roomba picks up five times the amount, even after the new i3 has already run three times!I’m not sure who thinks these work well. Maybe you don’t realize how little they work and are ok with that. That’s not cleaning, thats just theater. Pull out a real vacuum after running your Roomba and do the entire house to see how bad these work. If it can’t vacuum loose lint laying on hardwood , well there is never ANY hope this would get dirt out of carpet fibers.I’m returning this pos and switching brands, never looking back. When a company makes dumb decisions this large, it means they have a systemic problem that won’t get resolved until they hit rock bottom.

Most Accurate yet
This is the 4th auto vacuum I have owned and it is by far the best one yet I have had 2 other older Roombas and I currently have another self emptying off brand one. This one is by far the most efficient, it makes it’s way around the furniture well, the dog toys don’t seem to bother it, and it almost always makes it back to it’s base. The only times I have an issue with it making it home is when it sucks up my husband’s boot laces. It doesn’t always clean my door mats it sometimes just pushes them into a heap and cleans around them, but this doesn’t really bother me.

Love it great suction takes a few days to map your layout but it’s fantastic.mOnem thing to be aware of and i personally don’t care is it leaves black marks on the baseboard and doors from bumping into them. The machine also gets very scratched up on it’s body. My irobot stopped working properly, it was promptly replaced by irobot customer service.

Mapping was time-consuming but a “must” for efficiency. Does a “Great job’, love it. This is my 3rd Robot.
