Save my time and Worth it!
It works well on rugs without getting stuck and navigates around cables and furniture smoothly. What I like most is the scheduled cleaning function. Whether you come home late from get off work or get up late in the morning, you donât have to worry about dogâs fur all over the floor. With it, you can still have a clean floor if you get home late! Also, the self-emptying feature is a huge bonus-it saves me from constantly emptying the dustbin, which I used to hate.If you care about having perfectly clean floors without all the effort, I highly recommend this vacuum. It’s been 100% worth it!

Multi-year owner – works great (updated!)
To start, this is a great robo-vacuum. I can’t even remember how long ago I bought it, maybe five years ago. It has worked great. We’re still on the original brushes and battery after running nearly daily for the life of ownership. It’s not the most powerful robo-vacuum on the market and it doesn’t do great if there is a large step up from hardwood floor to carpet (>0.5″), but for the cost and lifespan, this thing has more than paid for itself with time saved vacuuming. To note, we have a dog and two young kids. The vacuum runs daily and its bin is filled to the max daily. Point is, it gets a workout and keeps on going. PS – my son (2 years old) loves casing this thing around – great distraction.Cons/maintenance:- Minor – but – the on/off button on the top of the vacuum is ever so slightly taller than the rest of the unit resulting in the button getting bumped as it passes under some furniture causing the unit to turn itself off. This happens once a week or so.- As noted above, this vacuum seems to have issues with hardwood floor to carpet transitions. It’ll drive off the edge of the carpet no problem but the front bumper doesn’t have the ground clearance to let the unit drive up onto the carpet. We have padding under our carpets so they are taller than usual area rugs (~0.5″).- maintenance item: clean the sensors! I clean the sensors weekly and it seems to resolve some of the nuisance faults. Be sure to get all of them as there are a number that are hidden/hard to reach.- maintenance item: clean the main roller brush, including take the little square rubber mount off the one end to clean the metal spindle. That thing gets super wound with hair causing brush faults. The only “major” issue I’ve had is that one of the internal bearings seized a few weeks back (again, after 5 years of use). The bearing is located on the main brush drive so it sees all the fine dust that gets kicked up when running. It’s a common bearing size that any DIY-er can source from Grainger (Part # 35JA77). So if you randomly start getting four beep faults (brush fault), check that bearing. $6 later and it’s back to running like new.And not to sound like an old high school shop teacher, but read the manual. Every light and beep the thing makes is telling you something. Makes diagnosing faults much easier/faster and saves you frustration.Overall, definitely worth the cost.December 2023 – still going strong. I think weâre 8 years in at this point and it still works as intended. My son has thrown it and tried to ride it a few times and it keeps going. We did have one of the sweeper motors fail about a month ago but $10 later in Amazon, some soldering, and back in business! Truly the mechanicâs special! Love it! Why spend $1,000 on a Roomba when you can spend $99 on this?!?!Get it!

Robot Vacuums Are Not For Everyone!
I’m totally new to robot vacuums. Amazing to me that it works at all. I bought the A4S based on the reviews here. My wife used to say, “I never want one of those things!” So, I bought one anyway and hid it in a closet until recently… Everything about it seems to be functioning very well, as expected. For $150, or today I see it’s at $195, the iLife A4S does a lot; we’re living in a small 1/2 duplex, so it cleans the downstairs as one room – no electronic walls are included, just so you know. However, it has been great cleaning our hardwood floors, including a thin Turkish rug, and a more standard 1/2″ rug runner. Again, I was going by what others said, so for instance I have no comparison to ‘better suction’. Here are some specifics based on testing and/or just running the thing. No, I will not give it a name. It’s a vacuum.I had a Homer Simpson moment (Doh!) attempting to set a simple program, to watch it run (forgot to check power switch!). During this time, the A4S seemed to be receiving signals from the remote every time I pressed a button (it beeped back at me). It was definitely NOT in sleep mode – it has to be on and awake to set a “plan” (programmed time). Anyway I might have gotten to the power switch earlier if A4S wasn’t responding to remote while it was off. So finally I got it running and watched the cat, the machine, and all the stuff I left in the way. You really want to have as few items AS possible sitting on the floor. It’s really annoying to watch the vacuum become psycho, trying to get under a dining room chair and bumping into the legs until it escapes into the living room; it returns to the same chair (there are 4), does the same set of corrections, and gets away again. Next time, put the chairs up. Also hide or minimize exposing lamp cords and extensions – they’ll become entangled with the A4S. However this robot does make it underneath our couch and coffee table, so THAT is a big help.I rolled up the Turkish rug, to make A4S just do the hardwood floors, and swept up the dust from underneath it. Yes, I used to sweep up before the house cleaners showed up (obsession), but for this robot you HAVE to do a thorough cleaning before you start using it. It has a very small dust bin, and if you don’t vacuum manually at least once a week, your robot-vac will not be able to clean effectively. If the bin is full, A4S will simply fling dirt and debris with its brushes – everywhere. If you think of it as a “touch-up” machine, you’ll enjoy it. If you think of it as replacing a “real” vacuum, then you’re going to.be disappointed.Oh, BTW, my wife likes it as long as I ‘take care of it’. I enjoy doing those things, maybe because of my tinkering obsession. So, if youâre not handy, can’t figure things out mechanically-logically, or you donât like performing maintenance, DO NOT BUY A ROBO-VAC OF ANY KIND. That said, A4S does pick up a lot of hair and dust that get away from regular analog vacuuming. Basically, it does a great cleaning job. After about an hour, in my 14×27 living room/dining room with all the obstacles (upright piano, couch, stereo cabinet, floor lamp, coffee table, dining table w/4 chairs, magazine rack, exercise bike) I am surprised how clean the floors look; and I can walk barefoot without feeling any dirt. We have 2 cats and one dog (cats are both indoor, to keep them alive); dog is obsessively going outside, so dirt comes inside with him. And he sheds hair. A lot. For us, we either let everything go for too long, or inject a robot vacuum into the mix and see how long we can make things work. Oh, forgot to mention the twins. So thereâs that effect on the household. If youâre anything like us, you could probably use two robot vacs!My son (Twin 1) and I watched the A4S last night as he pressed the âhomeâ button on the remote, for the first time. It immediately shut off the vacuum (or lowered itâs power by 60-70 %). Quiet as this thing is, it got incredibly quieter, it slowed down to about 1st gear speed, and slowly made its way through the maze. It took awhile for it to get from the farthest point in living room over to the dining area, but once it was in line of sight of the home station (about 9 feet away) it turned, faced the station dead on and dropped into granny gear (slowed down even more) and went straight at the base and docked perfectly.I know this is way long for a review, but I had a writing bug! Last things I noticed; donât leave large soft things for the vac to bump into. The robot will give the thing a few nudges and the wheels will spin, until it gives up, stops, and beeps at you (there are 4 beep codes defined in broken English at the back of the manual). Make sure all obstacles are pretty solid and/or tough or hard surfaced so you can avoid this. The great unknown is, how long it will last. If youâre like me or you’ve applied your personality traits to the points made in this tome, youâll either avoid these machines, or be happier for a longer period of time. BUY this thing. Or NOT.

Great Value and Performance for its price!
I really love the self emptying feature. It’s so convenient not to have to empty the vacuum after every cleaning. However, I do wish the dustbin held a bit more before needing to be emptied, but that’s a minor issue. The vacuum’s navigation is generally great â it moves in organized patterns and covers most areas well. It can occasionally miss a corner here and there, but it usually catches those spots in the next pass.Setting it up was a breeze, and the ILIFEHOME app makes it super easy to control. I can schedule cleanings, adjust the suction power, and I’ve noticed that it’s saving me a lot of time and effort.Overall, I’m very happy with the ILIFE V9 Pro. It’s a fantastic value for a robot vacuum that handles pet hair, dirt, and even light mopping. While it’s not perfect (a few minor navigation quirks), it’s definitely earned a spot as one of my favorite home appliances. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased the V3s Pro robotic vacuum, and it has exceeded my expectations for the price range. Itâs an ideal vacuum if you have pets, as it does a fantastic job picking up pet hair and dirt around the house. One of the best features is its quiet operationâmy cats arenât scared of it, which is a big win!The suction power is impressive, and it returns to its charger automatically when needed. Scheduling cleanings is also very convenient, especially for those busy days when you donât have time to vacuum yourself. It shuts off safely if it gets stuck, which I appreciate since it saves battery life and prevents wear on the motor. While it operates in a random cleaning pattern, it manages to clean around 90% of the room if left on for a while, which is sufficient for my needs. It occasionally misses a few spots, especially in the middle of the room, and can get hung up on cords or lighter carpets. But as long as you move any potential obstacles, it works smoothly.Overall, for the price, itâs an excellent, low-maintenance addition to my home, keeping the floors much cleaner with minimal effort. Highly recommend it for pet owners or anyone looking for a budget-friendly robot vacuum!

I bought a Roomba 606 before i got this. The 606 worked fine and i was quite happy with its performance till it started acting up after a week or so. No battery charge was it’s problem. Returned it and got the iLife A4s although i was skeptical about the brand. This things works great. Is much much quieter than the Roomba 606, and has a handy remote.Removes more dirt and pet hair (two dogs), than i could ever with a broom. The dogs always bring in loads of dirt and debri and the iLife cleans it up without any problem. Comes with a cleaning brush and two extra rotating sweepers, and opening and emptying out the bin is a snap. well designed and well built for the price. Have not tried it on carpet as don’t have one.Highly recommended given the price and performance.

Amazing product! I do not like the idea of domestic help as the wages are not regulated and do not know if the prevailing rates are fair. Thus, I clean my apartment on my own. At times, it becomes tough due to extreme work pressure and time constraints. I came across the robot and purchased it. I can tell you that my apartment is always clean now and with almost 20% efforts.Pros. Effective, programmable, easy to use, easy to clean, quiet operation, has a cute personality:)Cons. NothingAll in all… Full value for money.

Here’s an idea for the manufacturers. of these little wonderful contraptants, can you please put a multi LED light that would indicate the level of how full the containers are, with maybe a gentle chirping sounds that’s unique for when the containers need to be emptied or refilled when it pulls into its parking spot…? Maybe By measuring the pressure level of how much harder the vacuum has to suck as the container fills up and blocks the air flow. I’m not impressed with the design of the suction intake on the bottom, it’s very small and the little rubber guides to supposedly help guide the dirt into the hole get in the way of the too long brushes, (that happened to be a unique kind of brush, compared to just about every other manufacturer out there, so we have to purchase different kind of brush set for it). As it’s going around your house and it seems to prefer certain areas. It might be because it only seems to turn left. I have yet to see it turn right, so if it only has to turn 6 inches to the right, it will go all the way around the whole 300° or so, to get to the 6 inches on the right, instead of just turning the 60°, to get to that spot. I also find it very poor at getting along the baseboards, and has tenancy (because of the brush wheels being so long), they tend to fling dirt instead of pulling it in to be collected.

Product is good, however ending up using the edge cleaning mode and remote to guide the robot to clean areas. Its good if each area is enclosed to perform auto cleaning at your speed n convenience.
