While bigger than I anticipated, I LOVE this siphon. Few places for a seal to be broken, very few pumps required to get it going, tube is firm but soft enough to bend to control flow. I hated my python easy vac, the bendable part cracked and sprung a leak right away so no suction.However the bucket attachment I wasn’t crazy about. I’ll keep using the python attachment because it has an adjustable fit and it’s easy to use.Highly recommend this product.

Compre esta aspiradora para supuestamente hacer la succiÃ³n del agua mas facil pero era muy complicado aplicar presion a la bomba y que el agua no avanzara por la manguera. Despues de 2 dias de uso, la bomba dejo de jalar agua, me imagino se escapo el aire por algun lado de la bomba. Mejor hubiese comprado un siphon regular. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Great size, easy start
This is a perfect cleaning rig for a 20 gallon tall tank. The bulb to initiate the syphon works great. Hose is a little smaller than you want for a large tank but is perfect for smaller and heavily planted tanks. Comes with all the accessories needed. Materials used are quality and durable. Good buy for your money. Recommended.

Works like a charm
I also use this to empty out my dishwasher filter compartment. Very easy to work and the suction is excellent.the clip to the bucket broke though

Fantastic while it works (updated)
UPDATE: 2->4 stars.I fixed it. It turns out the bladder in the siphon end of the body had become unseated or popped out or something. I fiddled with it a bit and achieved suction again, and now it works. I just wish there was some documentation on this.This pump is the perfect size for a small aquarium, the flow is adequate to lift and clean gravel while not so high that it kicks up other sediment.However, like many others here, it seems, it broke after the third or fourth use. The casing that holds the pump cracked along a seam and is no longer airtight rendering the product unusable. Thankfully it broke soon enough that I can return it.

An Excellent No-Mess Vacuum
I’ve kept aquariums for many years, and have owned many gravel/sand vacuums. This one is my absolute favorite. It is the perfect size for my Waterbox 20 gallon Cube saltwater aquarium. Every vacuum I’ve owned has caused spills at one time or another, especially when trying to start the siphon. With the hand primer it is super easy and spill free to start a siphon. Also the included clip is nice to keep the hose from coming out of the bucket. That being said, I ended up securing the hose to the clip with a zip tie as it can come loose. At first I was having issues with the primer not starting a siphon but found that if I disassemble and flush with tap water each time after using it works fine. There are two small check valves, one in the hose fitting and one in the inlet that I flush with tap water, if these get gummed up the hand primer won’t work. Also make sure not to lose the two small clear o rings in the fittings when flushing.

Does not last! tried 3 of them and all stopped working after a few uses 🙁
really like the idea and loved it first few uses, then dead. does not after very light use. tried 3 of these thinking I got a dud. Nope, worked great till the 4th time then the bulb is bad and wont prime to suck up water. love the design and idea but very unhappy with quality. The bulb is more plastic like not really rubbery. seems to me it must get a hairline crack in it as it won’t start sucking water no matter how many times I pump the bulb and no matter what hand position pumping the bulb after it stopped working and tried again. this a not a fake review. been keeping fish for over a decade and usually use the long or short simple vacuums dip in water lift and put back in water. stilll using those for over a decade and those still work. need a nano tank like vacuum for my (3) 6 gallon tall round tanks. Thy Hygger is a perfect idea but no good if it stops working after minimal use along with rinsing it after each use. the last one bought a few months ago broke too.

Worked great at firstâ¦
It still works ok but since a few plastic pieces popped off I canât se to get it to stop leaking. When it did work, it worked great.

Love love love this siphon!
Tank cleanings are so so easy now thanks to this siphon. Its easy, clean, and the flow of water is perfect, not too fast or slow. It picks up gravel and circulates it without pulling it up into the filters. Quality is good, not great but I would absolutely recommend, especially for smaller tanks!
