Magnets are weaker than anticipated
This aquarium cleaner from Hygger is designed well relative to some of its competition. With the expiration of the patent, the marketâs been flooded with these floating-type scrapers and a few notable advantages differentiate this product from the rest, namely the built-in scraper function with additional blades and an assortment of sizes for various sized tanks. The medium version ordered seemed to not be strong enough to handle 3/8â plexiglass so if between thicknesses, go for the larger version; it should perform fine on 1/4â plexiglass and glass. The plastic blade is not effective on coraline algae but will remove the less stubborn green haired stuff.EDIT: dropping from 4 stars to 2 stars, the scraper blade holder just broke off after 7 weeks, see new pic

Effective
I keep dart frogs that tend to be skittish when I enter their tank. Installing this on the glass and using the guide-externally makes a stress free tank clean up. It is extremely effective in getting grime off of the glass, is well package, well made, and overall a good purchase.

Good little scrubber but magnets aren’t strong
Overall, this scrubber gets the job done. Gave my tank a good cleaning, but I found myself scrubbing more than I normally do with other magnetic scrubbers. The main issue is that the inside end would release from the magnetic pull and float away. If it had stronger magnets, this would be less of an issue. A couple times I had to hunt with the outside end to get the inside end to pull back in. Other than that, it’s a good scrubber and gets the job done.

Works great!
I didnât know if the plastic blade would work, but it works great. It has a very strong magnet. Very easy to use. Gets the job done.

I love hygger lights so thought I’d love this too
It’s definitely safe and didn’t scratch my glass like the other brand bought previously. It doesn’t have as strong a magnet so I still use both, but this one is safer.I like that it floats if dislodged from magnet on outer glass.Super easy to use.I bought the medium and it’s the right size for my 6-20 gallon tanks.Its easy to clean n the glass, but would say it doesn’t work as well as the one with stronger magnet, yet seems so much safer on my glass!

It works pretty darn good. I can even use it to clean the back where the back ground is tape on.

Does fine
This is nice in the fact there are no sharp parts however, it’s not going to work on a tank with thick amounts of already.Easy to use and the price is reasonable.

Perfect
I have been trying to use almond leaves in my beta fishes tank but it makes the tanks glass so dirty, this was the perfect solution, cleans off all the gunk with minimal disruption to my beta fish. It is easy to use and clean.
