This review is for the Hygger Aquarium Cleaning Tool.This is a Multipurpose Fish Tank Cleaning Kit and comes with 6 different attachments.The attachments are as follows: Fish net, Algae Scraper, Tube brush, Flat sponge, Right-angle sponge, and a Grave rake.This fish net is about 5 x 7. The Algae Scraper is 3 x 2.5. The tube brush is 0.5 x 5.5. The Flat Sponge is 3.5 x 3. The right angle sponge is 1.2 x 5. and the Grave Rake is 2.3 x 3.5.The handle rod/pole is made of fiberglass so it’s lightweight yet sturdy.It also extends up to 2 1/5 feet long making cleaning a breeze, especially since I have a very deep 40 gallon fish tank.

Everything you need to clean a tank
If you have a fish tank and need to clean it properly look no further as Hygger has you covered! This kit is multipurpose from and it all starts with a boom attachment. There is multiple attachments you attach to the wand and the one I use most is the sponge. I had to use the razor attachment once when I had some algae buildup but you shouldn’t have to use it if you stick to a maintenance schedule!I really like this kit because it has everything you need and you don’t need to find the tools later. If you don’t use something now but need it later–it’s probably in this kit!

Great For my tank
This cleaning kit for my aquarium. I only have have a 10 gallon aquarium, so this kit is BIG for my size, but it works so well. The individual heads go on easily, and are soft enough to not damage my glass, while still cleaning. I recommend this cleaning kit.

Good Cleaning Kit
This is a nice cleaning kit that has a lot of what you need to clean your tank.Versatile sizing for the “handle” makes getting every area you need to clean easy. The telescoping core lets you reach deep in a larger tank, while compacting to a very reasonable 21 inches long at the smallest without any of the items attached for storage.The “V” angled scrubbing sponge is especially nice for me, because I have a 5-gallon (soon to be) planted tank with curved edges. This will work perfectly on that curved section to clean algae, where the magnetic cleaner is too stiff and might not get at everything. The sponge attachments also have pivots on the back, which let you go up and down the glass without having to keep the handle PERFECTLY straight to keep the sponge on your tank glass. Good design, although the pivot is a bit stiff for now. Hopefully that loosens up a little (but not too much) with use.The included black net is HUGE. I think it’s almost double the size of the cheap green net that came with something else I bought for the tank setup. I can actually see uses for both of those… so I won’t throw out the smaller one yet, but the quality of the Hygger set is better for both the fabric being softer, and the stitching securing the net to the handle being more robust than the cheaper green basic one.I like the small stiff straight bristle brush. It will help me get into the separated chamber on the back side of my tank to scrub the nooks and crannies that I can’t get with the wider sponges.The rake should help me reposition my decorative amethyst rocks back on top of the black substrate if I’m lucky. Hopefully I can sift the finer particles of the substrate from the scoop, and then lay the pebble-type amethyst back on top. The tines of the scoop may be a bit too close together for that, though. I won’t know until I need to try it, which won’t be for a while longer as I am still putting the tank together and it’s not an issue yet. I don’t really know how much I’ll use the scraper. I’m afraid of scratching the sides of my tank up… so I’ll probably avoid it if at all possible, but the really nice feature of this particular part is the hardy cover. You won’t accidentally cut yourself picking it up to get it seated on the handle.The only thing I struggled with was getting the attachments to slot onto the end while trying to film it. Not as much of a problem if I’m fully using both hands and have a bit more leverage. Hygger even includes a “spare” spring, in case the one that holds on the attachment ends loses it’s tension and you need to replace it. That’s a thoughtful addition.At the time of this review, the price is running under $20…. with an additional percentage off coupon available. That’s a steal for this set, in my opinion. If you need these type of cleaning supplies, this kit is good quality. Go for it.

Never use this scraper
At first I thought this is the best catch for my 20 gal fish tank. The height and easiness of changing heads until i used the algea scraper on the wall of my tank. I have a thick glass , not acrylic and not a cheap quality glass. My fish tank is JBJ Cubey which is worth minimum $600. The scraper has left obvious scratches on the glass. I lost the look of my brand new crystal glass in a moment only because i use the scraper to clean the residue. The scraper tool defected my tank walls.
