I’m not a big environmentalist but I do try to be conscious of what I throw in the trash. I recycle where I must and reuse whenever I can. The HOPEPODZ Bathroom Cleaner Refills fit perfectly with the latter. The pack comes with 6 pods that each make 32 ounce of bathroom cleaner. Just drop a pod into a 32 ounce container or spray bottle and add water. The pod will dissolve and it’s contents mix with the water and now you have a 32 ounce bottle of bathroom cleaner. The cleaning solution is non-toxic and works just as good a any named brand products. Every little bit we do helps keep our environment clean and garbage free.

Mediocre cleaning for a premium price
This cleaning solution is easy to prepare, as long as you have a spray bottle 26-32 ounces. The pods dissolve readily, forming a light green cleaning solution. The smell isn’t as a strong and fumy as most bathroom cleaning products.However, I found this refill bathroom cleaner poor at doing the most basic cleaning job – removing soap scum from the shower. It required multiple sprayings and scrubbing with a sponge to remove the soapy residue.These pods are priced at $4.74 each, which seems especially high considering there’s no plastic bottle or sprayer, and none of the extra expense that would be associated with transporting, warehousing, and delivering a bulky bottle of cleaner. While I’m glad to not be contributing to more plastic pollution, surely some savings could have been passed to the consumer.

Cleans just as well as my other all-purpose cleaners!
I am trying really diligently to reduce my plastic consumption by reducing single-use plastics; i.e. we don’t use plastic bags anymore or plastic/saran wrap and this would fall in line with that given how much we clean our house.I finished off a Method cleaner and decided to use that same bottle since its roughly the same size (it calls for 32 ounces and this bottle was 28oz)… it took about ten minutes to fully dissolve since it calls for cold tap water.It cleans just as well as any of the Method or Target-branded cleaners and has a pleasant scent. I would recommend this just for surface cleaning – I would not recommend it for something super greasy like a cooktop or something like that where there would be a lot of grease present.Also – bonus – the tiny little box takes up a TON less space.

Saves a lot of resources
This product comes as three little pouches in a small box. You drop a pouch into a spray bottle, add cold water, and you get a spray that works just as well as any cleaner I have ever used, which is great all by itself. What I really love, though, is that these save so many resources. They use a fraction of the packaging of SIX large bottles of cleaning products. The tiny box takes up very little space in a shipping container, whereas six 32oz bottles fill a large carton. That means that this product can be shipped for a fraction of the fuel and environmental impact it takes to ship similar traditionally packaged cleaners. These also take up only a tiny space in my cabinet. I held back half a star because they are a bit more expensive than similar products, and I took another half star off because although it does save a lot of resources, the product still creates negative impacts on the environment and human health because it is not made from natural ingredients.

Dissolving cleaning pods | multi-purpose
What an initiative!With products like these, there is always a sense of fulfillment that we collectively are taking measures to help the environment that eventually helps our planet!I love the idea of refill pods that are completely soluble in water! So what I do is simply fill my glass spray bottle with water and drop this whole pod in it. Within a few minutes, it’s ready to use.For now, I’m using it to clean my bathrooms, like the tubs, toilets and basin, so far no complaints! Also, the fact that it’s safe, and has no harmful chemicals makes me feel good.Two small boxes, each with 3 refill pods plus an instruction manual. Did I mention that it doesn’t just work well, it smells even better.Agreed that it comes at a high price point but hey, this is just one step closer to getting rid of those plastic bottles. So why not?Highly recommended!

Efficient Cleaning Product
I really like how little space this bathroom cleaner takes up. The pods are in two small boxes that together measure 4 inches by 2.5 inches by 1 inch. These little boxes will make enough cleaner to fill 6 bottles so I will have enough cleaner for months. I liked the mild scent and the cleaning power. I used it on the sink and in the shower and it worked well. I was a bit confused about whether I was getting a bottle included with the cleaner because on one part of the listing it says you put the cleaner in YOUR bottle but then in another part of the listing it says “ECO-FRIENDLY CLEANING AT ITS BEST. Each HopePodz Pod makes 32oz of powerful cleaner, without all the harsh chemicals. Comes with a refillable bottle and 6 concentrated pods in our refreshing lavender scent.” For the record, I did not get a bottle. Either way, I liked it.

Just OK, At Best–Not Very Potent
My habit is always to wait before reviewing anything. That way, readers of my comments know I am not just excited about a package coming in the mail but have also tested its effectiveness.These cleaning concentrates have a pleasant scent and do some cleaning. They are marginally superior to standard hot water. They consistently performed second best when I compared them to a number of well-known cleaners. I had to apply a lot of elbow grease to clean my tub. I thought it was great that they were easier to store and more environmentally friendly because you could just mix up the cleaner as needed. These combine to generate 32 ounces of cleanser–luckily I had one of these larger bottles. Therefore, there are no big jugs to store. It would be a terrific idea if they could only work a bit better.Hope you found this review helpful!
