Lot’s of suction!
This vacuum has a lot of suction power! I actually burned a small hole in the carpet because I pushed down on the rollers as it was spinning (accidently). The only issue we have had is that there is so much power that anything we have accidently sucked up we have burned a couple belts. But easily replaceable.

Cats hate it, I love it!
My two cats highly disapprove of the new vacuum monster moving in. They were so hopeful when the old one bit the dust and stopped terrorizing them. Their efforts to kick kitty litter halfway across the house have been thwarted as this vacuum worked for both hardwood and carpet of various thickness. It sucked up a surprising amount of floof from the carpets I had already vacuumed a few days ago before the old vacuum monster kicked the bucket.It isn’t a lightweight vacuum, but about the same as the previous one. The swivel action has pros and cons. It’s easier to rotate around furniture, but a little harder to control in tight spaces. It has the longest cord I think I’ve ever had. I was able to plug it in a centrally located outlet and reach every room without unplugging! That’s a treat. YMMV with house size, but I’m happy.People are correct in noting that the beater brush keeps turning even when using the hose attachments. I’m not sure why vacuums do that these days, but my previous one from a different brand did it too. It means you have to be careful where you leave it setting while using attachments. Older vacuums used to have a safety switch that prevented that.I chose this one because the price was at the low end. I plan on replacing my carpets with laminate this year, so figured I wouldn’t be using it long. The last vacuum I had was atrocious on hard floors, and I guess I forgot it’s possible to vacuum on hardwood without getting pelted by the vacuum spitting everything behind it. So I might be using it longer.Emptying the cannister was a little non-intuitive, so I made a bit of a mess on first use. There’s an insert that’s removable from the top that then lets the debris easily drop to the bottom to be emptied from the other end. This might be in the instructions, but I didn’t need them to assemble it so didn’t look, because it’s a vacuum, how much instruction is needed?It is too big to fit under the beds, so the dust bunnies and cats have a place to hide from it for now. But it also means it won’t be choking on unseen cat toys. We avoided those on its maiden journey, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t designed to handle those and that’s when I’ll find out how hard it is to unwind them from the brush.So far, I’m happy that it does pretty much what I expected and a few features work better.

I had really high hopes for this vacuum. I had another Hoover for 7 years and was getting a new one. I have 2 dogs and was really excited about the hand attachments for vacuuming our couch. After having this vacuum for a little over a year I gave up today and ordered a different vacuum from another manufacturer. I wish I had put a little more faith in some of the reviews because I had some of the same issues that others have had as well. The plate that adjusts the carpet thickness setting comes off and won’t stay on the bottom of the machine creating suction issues, too much suction for thinner carpets. Also the joint where the hose attaches to the vacuum will not stay on the joint. I took off the plastic elbow and tried rethreading it into the elbow with super glue twice and it still continues to come out when using the hand attachment. Even when you try not to put any stress on the hose it continues to become dislodged from the plastic elbow that connects it to the main body of the vacuum. It’s a little bit disappointing for the money you pay for this vacuum coupled with the fact that it is branded as a for pets model that it has these manufacturing recurring issues that make the vacuum effectively unusable. It is already a chore but is made worse when you are fighting the vacuum through the process as well. I wish I had listened to some of the other reviews a year ago but finally got to the point where I am done with this vacuum and hopefully have better luck with the next onw.

Great except for attachment use, but here’s the solution
Very good especially in suction. Only issue, noted elsewhere I believe, the hose connection on the left side will come out if using attachments that pull it to the left which rotates the connector enough (counterclockwise) to pull it out. Poor design (done by engineering summer intern?). The locking lugs are woefully inadequate. But a simple fix, technically a “workaround”: Use a zip tie, or a few zipped together, to fasten the right side of the “cage” of the hose connector to the vertical accessory holder on the right side. Works great. Alternatively glue the thing in place and let it sit for 24 hours before using.

Powerful but with quirks
Iâve been using this vacuum for a few months so I feel I can leave a good review.PROS-Great suction-Easy to empty and clean-Easy to maneuver but still a little heavy-Great attachments-Moderately pricesCONS-Kind of loud. I donât really care about that as long as it does itâs job but some people do.-If you suck up fringe on a rug or a cord it will very likely pull the belt off the track. This happened to me and the brush head stopped rotating. I just had to take the bottom cover off and put it back on but it was a pain.Overall, Iâm very pleased with my purchase. The picture attached is my first run with the vacuum. Keep in mind I also have a Shark roomba type vacuum that runs 1-2 a day. This is what it wasnât picking up!I vacuum everyday and it has held up great.

Tengan en cuenta que el rodillo de abajo jamás deja de girar, uses o no lo uses, eso para mi le resto puntos ya que si no estas aspirando los suelos y estas aspirando muebles, el rodillo se desgastará sin sentido. No tiene la opción de Apagar/Prender Brush (Barredor).

I had issues from day 1. There is no option to vacuum without the beater brush, making it difficult…no impossible….to vacuum small area rugs. The suction is too powerful and with the beater brush on, it sucks up and chews up small area rugs, all of rugs now have jagged edges where the vacuum has sucked it into the beater bars. Not a performance issue, but if when you vacuum, you rub against your baseboards, you will end up with black marks on your baseboards, also the vacuum is extremely loud, I’m sure my neighbors knew every time I used it. The end of the hose that is suppose to stay connected to the vacuum, falls off and now a plate on the bottom of the vacuum has broken off. I duct taped it back on, but it comes loose on a regular basis and when it is loose the power button doesn’t work. it fell off again today and it took me 5 minutes to tape it back on in the right position so I could turn it on and finish my cleaning. that was the last straw, it is going in the garbage, money well wasted.

Just unpacked vacuum and tested it out on my condo. I ran into a couple of things that presented some issues for my likability of this vacuum: 1. Instructions are slim with little explanation of the tool usages. 2. Weight is a little heavier than I would prefer. 3. Attachments and tube have issues staying in place especially when the vacuum needs to click upright again (make sure clicks otherwise it falls down). 4. Gauge for floor/carpet types not as convenient as I would prefer for a largely hardwood floor condo with area carpetsâ¦lots of flipping from one to another. On the plus side, the vacuum swivel does help to get into cracks and crevices without a lot of fuss (though it took me some time getting use to it). The suction is beyond fabulous. I had vacuumed with old one before and still managed to pull up loads of fur, crap, etc. The pet hair tool does not pull or tear at furniture fabric while gathering up all the cat fur. The red brush thing does great vacuuming areas like crevices on my fireplace mantle. With the light at the front of the vacuum head, Iâm able to see all of the stuff under furniture. Finally it does not leave dust or odours in the air after vacuuming not does it vacuum all of the things my cats leave for toys on the floor. This vacuum would have received higher stars if the weight was better and the attachments did not keep falling off when I tilted back into upright position.
