Iâm not happy with this vacuum at all
Iâve had this vacuum for 5 months now and itâs already broken, it wonât stand up the plastic piece that keeps it upright broke. The bag inside doesnât have a good seal, the bag is bigger than the compartment it is in, so the bag also doesnât fill up all the way, so half way full you have to replace the bags. Which is costly. The hose on the side doesnât suck up cleanly and gets clogged every couple of days. There is dust all over the side of the vacuum and inside where the bag is. The cord and hose holder are also cheaply made so I have to be extra careful. Itâs also very heavy.

Great vacuum for our office
I was looking to replace a high-end commercial vacuum for our office. This Hoover is perfect. Great suction and light weight enough. Very pleased with the quality.

I never imagined Iâd find a vacuum as well build as my upright Electrolux. I took a chance and won! Iâd buy this commercial grade vacuum in a heartbeat! Quiet setting is niceâ¦quality is every bit as nice as my Electrolux at a third the cost! But this one!

The vacuum is wider than most other products and cleans more carpet quicker.Our concierge is using this “commercial vacuum” in our 9 floor building and has reported that itis the best unit he has ever used. More expensive than regular vacuums, but it will last much, much longer. M. B. Condo Administrator

Hoover use to have a bagless commercial vacumm which would have been our preference. We have purchased two other name brand vacuums since then and those lasted about year each and now we are back to the Hoover but this time with bags. Well he likes the 15″ base since it covers more floor space and has great suction. We’ll see how it performs long term.

Great value with features found on much higher priced brands. Love it!
Bought this to replace our 10 year old Kenmore. We looked at a number of higher end models as replacements primarily Miele, Ricarr and Simplicity brands. This was after looking at our go-to of Costco where every vacuum was a swivel head and had a vast majority of parts and components made from plastic and super narrow cleaning heads and eclectic trendy color combinations, loaded with useless gizmos. We have friend in the U.K. who lives by the Dyson factory who warned us to never buy a Dyson despite how nifty they look. We have almost 3500 sq feet of carpet which I vacuum every other day, narrow plastic vacuum heads just won’t cut it. Trendy tools not needed, but good air filtration, HEPA filters and a metal bar at the front of the vacuum to prevent damage from sucking in harmful stuff was key. We don’t have pets so pet hair management is not a must. For some reason I’m not a fan of the swivel head styles because it puts the pressure of the vacuum head on your wrist when you maneuver the vacuum and with our amount of carpet that’s a problem. This vacuum was just perfect. Priced right, super long cord, wide brush (15 inches) and the upgraded never break band, and very quiet. It does have a removable wand for tight spaces or furniture and some basic tools- not sexy but functional. It’s bagged which helps with suction and air particulate management. It’s literally ready to go out of the box with no tools. This vacuum provides comparable cleaning and quality parts to the Ricarr and Simplicity at about half the price. Have had it for about 4 months and am very happy. Would highly recommend.

Finally, a vacuum we can use at home that will stand up to regular use in a very busy house. Been through too many cheap vacuums that easily break down, don’t work from the beginning, or are nearly impossible to get to filters and bags to replace them. Everything that’s detachable or replaceable is color-coded. Very easy to take out of the box. Assembly is a snap and requires no tools. The vacuum is very quiet, even on the high setting. Suction is superior and brush roller has no problems in high pile carpet. The user manual clearly notes part numbers of parts for re-order. It is a bit heavy but very rugged to stand up to regular use in a house where several folks live and stuff is constantly being left on the floor. I’m looking forward to keeping up with dust and dirt in a busy household with lots of square feet. We purchased the 15″ Hoover Commercial HushTone Upright Vacuum Cleaner.
