Design and function: These Molle compatible locking belt clips are designed for attaching knife sheaths, gun holsters, mag pouches, flashlight holsters, emergency kits, and much more to any gear with a Molle compatible strap system. In addition, they also work quite well with virtually any item where a strap or belt is available for mounting to. This design, and its attachment hole mounting patterns, allow for both vertical and horizontal carry (and practically any angle in between).
Extreme attachment security: These Molle compatible belt clips can be unlocked and removed via a one-handed spring lock release. This same release has a built-in spring loaded slide-lock to secure the mounting to your belt, molle strap, or webbing. The Molle Compatible Belt Clip design is rugged and secure. The closure and spring safety “snap” in place in the locked position with positive authority. Once locked, the holster, sheath, or magazine pouch is secured tightly.
Super strong: Made from durable nylon polymer, HolsterSmith Molle Compatible locking belt clips are virtually indestructible. Each Molle compatible locking belt clip belt attachment features pre-drilled mounting holes that can be used as-is with standard hardware (see offer), or further drilled to a wider diameter to allow existing holster mounting posts to be used on holsters where these belt clips are being upgraded to improve original holster mounting.
Mounting Hardware Options: When ordered with mounting hardware, each Molle Compatible locking belt clip comes with (2) AV-SP-1875-BK slotted posts, (2) AV-832FHP-BK-375 Flat Head Phillips Drive Screws, and (2) W-EPDM-500180125 washers. This mounting hardware setup is perfect for most applications.

I used 1 of the 2 on a customer order for a knife. No complaints yet, so time will tell. Seems to be decent quality and I was in a time crunch to get it done before customer’s birthday. I let them know if it fails I’ll replace it, so maybe an update to this later?

Holds secure!
These are great for mounting guns, mags and kydek sheaths. Uses 1/4â Chicago screws and holds items securely. They have a handy quick release to open the mounts, but wonât come undone on accident.

sturdy and well made.
I had a holster w permanently closed loops. It was hard to put on n off my belt. So I just replaced them with these clips. They went on easily with the extra screws provided. They seem sturdy and well made. I held back one star as I can’t speak to durability at this point. Nor have I really tested the latching mechanism but I am quite hopeful. I may need to get more for some other uses.

I used this clip to fix my JBL WIND3 handlebar bluetooth speaker.. I use it at work everyday as a mail carrier and I keep it clipped on my satchel strap, unfortunately the speaker was made with a week spring clip that most often breaks soon after purchase witch then leaves it pretty much useless.. it wasn’t exactly easy to do but I installed this molly clip and can now again use my speaker as intended and it’s also better then it was before, almost looks factory

3 inches doesn’t mean 3 inches apparently.
This is supposed to be 3 inches (to fit 3 lines of MOLLE webbing). But it’s almost 3.5 inches, so there is a ton of slop when it’s attached. I had to wrap some tape around the bottom of one side to prevent it from flopping around on the MOLLE. Not impressed.
