Had to break down vacuum all the way to opening motor
It worked fine , but I was hoping it was easier to get to it without breaking down motor but I did it. And rebuilt it OK. I am STRONGER then I know. I did not like that the plug does. Not have q grab tie, or locking in place. The problem with the original machine the cord came out of bottom so we constantly ran it over until we were shocked. Bad vacuum design. Fixed it by taping it up to top . The plug end still needs to be tucked in instead of locking to cord.

Seems to work but vacuum cords tend to have a handy dandy little notch on the plug in so you can wrap it up nice and attach it to the cord, this did not have that.

The molded cord connecter at the male plug end as is shown in the photo is missing. It is very hard to secure the cord once it’s coiled on the vacuum cleaner body without having to tie it in a loop.
