Just what I was looking for!
I wanted a handheld vacuum to use to suck up small spills, bounced food from my dog, leaves tracked in when entering the house, etc. Perfect!!!! Works beautifully plus it has several attachments for other uses.

Solid build and great suction
This little vac is hard to believe for the price. I think the casing is made of aluminum, and the components are all solid. But even more important is that it works to my expectations. You can pretty much suck up whatever will fit through the attachment, including small stones. It’s especially good at getting crumbs and dust in any hard to reach place and makes dusting a breeze compared to a full sized vac. I’m all around happy with my purchase. Will provide an update if anything goes wrong.

Poorly designed
Works well. However, the motor control is right where you naturally grip the handle,so it turns off unexpectedly. Once that is overcome, it does a good job. Because the dirt/filter containmentarea is so small, cleaning is difficult.

Very Handy and I Found an Unexpected Use
I tried this on a workbench and found this machine works well and is easy to use. However, today I was out with our dog and he was shedding so much. I decided to try this little vacuum cleaner on him. I had used a comb already to pull out as much loose hair as I could.Typically our dog hates the sound of vacuums, but he was less fearful of this because it’s fairly quiet. I went over our mid-sized dog with the vacuum for between 5 to 10 minutes. Strangely, the window on the vacuum was not showing many hairs, but after I finished and opened up the top I was surprised. I had to open the part where you take out the filter. Surrounding the filter was some concentrated hair, but there was also a lot of dried skin. The dry skin is something that the comb usually leaves behind. This actually made our dog’s coat look a lot more healthy.This is a nice little unit and the body seems to be aluminum due to its light weight. I just wish that the hinge was a little more substantial, or that it could detach completely while emptying. I suspect that the hinge will be the one thing that ends the life of many of these units. Handled with care while emptying though and it should last.

Perfect desktop vacuum
I am a crazy cat and plant lady. I have cats and plants all over my desk at any given time, and this vacuum works perfectly to suck up cat fur that gets everywhere, litter that sometimes follows them, soil dropped from the plants when I obsessively check them for progress, and every once in a while crumbs from snacks I eat. I was hesitant to get this because of all the bad reviews saying it died, but so far so good. I’ve had this vacuum for over 6 months now and have had no issues with it. But to be fair, I use it for short periods of time only, versus using it in a car which I imagine will be for longer periods of time. I like this vacuum so much in fact that I bought another to give as as gift.
