Great product at a bargain
At about $40 this tool solves a problem that honestly Iâd pay someone else $40 a visit to take care of if I hadnât purchased one. I just received mine and took it for a spin (RYOBI 40v âWhisperâ 450 cfm) and everything worked just like I had hoped, easily cleaned out the gutters on my garage (the only ones we didnât put Gutter Helmets on) in less than 10 minutes by myself. The equipment and hardware worked great and donât show any wear afterward. After reading some of the other reviews, I was ready for this to break on the first go with it, and nothing like that happened. You should remove the blower tube from the leaf blower unit, and the adapter piece slides onto the part of the blower where its blower tube normally attaches. The strap and buckle/ratchet hardware to secure the fit worked great. To be objective, Iâm not certain that I need the bungee cords as I havenât tried using it without them. I had read an earlier review that mentioned it worked great if you just loop some small bungee cords through the loop the strap on the adapter goes through and then hook them around a part of the blower to keep it from blowing off of the Blower unit during use. I did that and it stayed snug the whole time.

Love Greenworks products, but HATE this one
First let me say that I LOVE Greenworks products. In the last 5 years I have purchased their whole line of 80V Pro products from lawnmowers, to snow blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc. Every product works well and starts every time even if it has been a year or more since the last use. So when I has a situation where there was a corner of my roof where my blower would not reach, I purchased the blower extension. It was a dud!!! First the diameter of the tubing was less than half that of the blowers. They had a cloth adapter, that is so flimsy that it is useless! Also because of the small diameter of the tubing, there is very little air coming out and it would not blow the leaves even when the end of the tube was right next to the leaves. By comparison, the blower by itself would get rid of leave 10-15 feet away!!Again, I LOVE Greenworks products (would love to see a riding lawn mower, hint, hint), but HATE this blower extension! I thought about returning it, but don’t want to end up on Amazon’s naughty list. So please don’t make the same mistake I did.

Acceptable but tough for those full stack reaches
For gutters height 8-10 feet it does ok. I had to put metal bars on the sides to keep form flopping side to side but then it worked well. But when they are all stacked it is a heavy wobbly monster that is difficult to point in the right direction. But safer than being on the edge of a 2-3 story roof.

Useful
This product is useful for cleaning gutters without getting up high on a ladder. I attach it to my shop vac. It is quite awkward to use though. The force of the air requires some muscle to get it where I want it to go.I used duct tape to hold it snuggly to the shop vac tube or the air would get in between and blow it off. The fastener connecting the tube to the vac was difficult to release after tightening so I broke that trying to figure it out.

Works if you know to do a few things
I read lots of reviews before purchasing this. I had a homemade version out of pvc pipe I used on my old shop vac but I wanted something with a bit more power as the shop vac version took forever. First off, I am female, 100 lbs, 5′ tall. I have a 1.5 story house so, my gutters are fairly tall.As others have said, it IS difficult to hold. I was already expecting that because the homemade one I had did the same thing. And yes, you are going to find it difficult to how the blower and this at the same time because the attachment is cloth and flexes, so you would normally have to to hold the blower in one hand, and this in the other, and when you turn on the leaf blower there is going to be kickback on this tube, so you do really need both hands to hold this.I had an old purse strap (I plan to get a better one lol, this is just what I had laying around) and I put it through the handle of the leaf blower so I could put the blower over my shoulder like a “purse”, that freed up both hands to hold onto the tube which made things MUCH MUCH easier. I had first tried using a cart like others mentioned but that became cumbersome rather quickly. The other thing people had mentioned was the cloth attachment blowing off the leaf blower. I had seen a few pictures online where people tried to attach this to the nozzle of the leaf blower, instead of DIRECTLY to the leaf blower itself. I attached mine to the blower directly, and it never came off.Yes, it can unscrew as your working, again I expected that as I ran into issues with that with my homemade version. However, its not like it does it all the time. When you put this together, sometimes it feels like it has been screwed in all the way, but if you don’t hear or feel a “click” its probably not. It has little tabs on it that are kinda like locking tabs, they aren’t fool proof and it can work its way loose but, I only had that happen once while working. All in all I am very happy with purchase. We have a big house and steep roof (and I hate heights lol) once I figured out how to work this thing where I could hold it an the leaf blower at same time, I was done with the gutters in 15 min.I personally wouldn’t recommend using it while your on a ladder. I suppose it may not be too hard for a strong man to manage but for older ones or women I think this thing has too much kickback to safely use while on a ladder. I also started of with it to get the feel for it with the lower setting on the leaf blower. But as I got used to it, I was able to use it with the leaf blower on high. I am not a very strong person at all, so if I can manage this thing I think the average person could.

NEEDS 2 PEOPLE TO USE EFFECTIVELY. DOESN’T REACH FULL 2nd STORY GUTTER
The idea of this product is sound. But there are several problems that make it unusable causing me to return it:1. It is to difficult to use effectively by holding the leaf blower in one hand, and controlling the extension tube in the other. I don’t have the muscular strength and stamina in my hand and arm to do it for very long. For one thing, there is recoil from the exhausting air at the top that you have to push against. The weight of the tube is another. But the primary problem is that it takes time, patience and skill to hold and move the tube along the gutter to effectively get the leaves out. You really need 2 hands and arms to do this, with somebody else holding the leaf blower. Alternatively, some kind of rig could be used to hold the blower, I suppose.2. Fully extended, the tube cannot reach a full-height 2nd story gutter. I was only able to reach the gutter in the front of my 2-story high ranch house where part of the first floor is below ground.

They worked great, no more ladder, instead stay on solid ground and blow them out.I bought two kits, to reach more than 15 Feet up. Very satisfied, payed for themselves in one application. Will be used again in the fall. Before paid a cleaning company more than $200 each time, they would not always show up due to poor weather. Now I’m laughing all the way….(.

This product did not live up to my expectations for a Greenworks product. The “sock” connector may make it “universal” but it affected the rigidity of the combo and how easy it was to use. Easier than standing on a ladder and scooping out the gutter but could be much better. I would recommend getting something that works for your specific blower.

good service and fast, I will use it to clean my gutters with it.

This worked fine on dry gutters with a small to moderate amount of material using my Greenworks 40V blower. When the material is wet or there is a lot of it (or both!), it’s not as effective and requires many, many passes. To manage my gutters properly with this I think I will need to use it at least once every 2 months after the initial cleaning.

Much too hard to use. Product returned. Good idea but a waste of money. Used once then returned. Trying to hold an 11 foot tube with air blowing thru proved to be impossible. There is no stability in the product with it being anchored with a canvas shroud on one end.
