Battery is NOT removable
This is the second Greenote stick vacuum cleaner that I have owned. I purchased this exact same vacuum cleaner five years ago and have been very happy with it but the battery has slowly been getting worse and worse to the point where it will not run for any more than five minutes. I took the main motor component apart to see if I could replace the rechargeable batteries. I took me about 20 minutes to get it open but what I discovered is that there is a series of batteries connected by wire and solder. To remove those batteries and install new ones would take hours of work–so I decided to just order a new unit. At $80 bucks, this is a pretty inexpensive product for what you get so I do not mind having to replace it every five minutes. I do not, however, understand why they are making the false claim that the battery is removeable because it is NOT. As I mentioned above, removing the batteries requires taking the entire product apart and wiring and soldering new batteries. Aside from this blatantly false claim, I am very happy with this product and I do recommend it.

First item delivered, the motors basic on and off switch did not work properly. Requested an exchange, thinking they mightâve gotten one lame duck, but the next step was delivered for all used parts with dirt hair and grime intact and motor still not working. Crappy product and apparently there were many other complaints that came through when I was in touch with Amazon customer agent. Disappointing and time energy consuming during this busy.

Another down side to this vacuum is the plastic. When the vacuum fell over, the plastic connection tab on the upper part pop off and broke. I can no longer detach the upper part to use as a hand held vacuum. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, I missed the window to return the item.

First I will say I was impressed at how much suction it has for being so lightweight and it is absolutely perfect for alot of jobs that my shark is too big for. This is great for stairs, cleaning out the car, and hardwood or vinyl floors, as well as for heavy mats. It’s so easy to use, not needing to find an outlet or drag a cord around is great. There’s alot of times I need to clean out the babies pack n plays and play yards and this is so much easier to just lift over the sides and vacuum using the whole thing instead of stretching a hose and trying to get all the crackers or cheerios out of that farthest corner- where they always are, lol. I also really appreciate how high the handle is, it makes it much easier on your back when your tall. It does come with attachments and you can shorten it to use in smaller areas, like the car. It’s light enough to carry up and down stairs without a problem. And it stays charged long enough to get alot of small jobs done. There are just a couple of small drawbacks, I think are worth noting. First, because it is small, so is the dirt collection cup, and you just need to empty it more often than bigger ones, of course. And even though you can change from high to low on the suction, it still has too much suction for curtains or lightweight rugs, it will pull them up. And since the wheels on it are super tiny, you can’t adjust the height ( that I know of). This does however, make it super easy to glide on bare floors and under furniture, it will suck dirt up without throwing it back into the air, which is nice. I feel like the sale price, at this time in the $70 ish range is a great price, but this price is list as 53% off the normal $160ish range. In my opinion, it’s a high regular price…. BUT, it does do a great job, and can do things even my shark isn’t good at, because of it being cordless and so lightweight. I absolutely have need of both my full size and this powerful, lightweight, cordless cleaner, and I would, especially at this sale price, buy this again, and it would make an excellent gift for anyone, and I do highly recommend this. If anything changes after more use, I will update this review. I hope this info has been helpful.
