The new design of the filter sucks!
Instead of it being one piece, it is two pieces combined. The plastic parts where the two pieces connect make you lose filter surface area. They should update the picture as well. I guess this is better than the filter unavailability experienced for 6 months prior. This design only help them save money using less filter material and save money on shipping a larger box/storage. Bring back the original one that came with it!

It’s a filter that fits
I’ve had a few of these air purifiers for a while now. I added some photos, it didn’t look like the seller has updated to the most recent photos of what is shipping now. Like the other reviews said, it is a different filter. It comes in two halves that slides together. It has labels and can only slide it together one way. For the filter itself, it’s not the same as the original but they fit and seem to work the same. In the images I uploaded you can see my original filter on the left, in the middle is the filter that the purifier ships with now, and on the right is the current filter being sent as a replacement. It looks like the outer layer is more patchy/splotchy and not actually covering completely like the middle filter. This was the same for both filters I ordered. The inside looks the same for all three filters and all three filters, including the new one, fit.

This refill now comes in two pieces that slide together. It works.

Finally back in stockâ¦
This design is slightly different than the one that came with the air purifier when I bought it but this one works like it should. Fits in just like the older model filter. It comes in 2 pieces that you link together after taking it out of the box so donât freak out when the box looks smaller than the size of the filter. Seems to work great and was easy to put together after taking it out of the box.

Works and fits perfect. Wish it was a little cheaper though
