Worked extremely well
Super easy garbage disposal cleaner. After your finish with your daily garbage disposal use, run the disposal with some water to clean out most of the gunge. It helps to throw a few fresh citrus peels down the drain if you have them handy. Then, just drop in a deodorizer tablet and run the disposal for a few seconds with a bit of running water. Gets rid of most of the strong odors. Your level of success will depend on how bad the disposal condition is to begin with and could possibly require a 2nd or 3rd treatment if you are not satisfied with the initial result.

They seem to work, but there is no foam
The directions for these cleaning tabs said to use one or two but more might be needed if more foam was desired. I used three tabs but there was no foam. I had the same problem with another brand. I don;t even know why they bother to mention foam. Anyway, these are supposed to clean the inner working of your garbage disposal, so they may be worth it for that, but they don’t foam up and clean the main body. At the time I tried these my disposal didn’t have any odors so I couldn’t evaluate deodorizing. Today I decided to throw some onion slices into the disposal and grind them up Then I tried using just one tab. It didn’t work., so I tried another tab. This time I heard the disposal sound change. It sounded like it was foaming up but I didn’t actually see any foam. I tuned it off and sniffed. Nearly all of the strong onion odor was gone.I think this will work to keep my disposal in shape but and there are 90 tabs in a bag, so I gave them four stars. I’m not excited about them, but I’m glad to have them and will use up the bag.

Underwhelming
I ordered the Garbage Disposal Cleaner Tablets with the hope that it would at least temporarily provide a pleasant smell. I followed the directions on the bag and ground up several tablets. Other than about 2 seconds of grinding sound as it destroyed the tablet, I did not see any evidence that it did anything. There was no foam and no real scent evident. I would not buy these again.

Smells minty and fresh
I could not see any foam the first 3 times I kept adding a little more like it says in the highlighted instructions on my pic. Finally after doing about 10 tablets it foamed and even went into the second sink. Problems you have to use alot and minty smell did not last more than a few seconds. It was very easy to use and thatâs a plus

Quickly and easily cleaned a very dirty disposer!
Cleaning out the garbage disposal is an unpleasant task. These quickly turned the chore into an easy one that likewise is easy to maintain. While running a small stream of hot water, you simply turn on the disposal, pop in a couple of tablets, and let it run for a minute or so. Instantly there is a fresh, minty smell while the tablets are being ground. I was concerned there might be a lot of foaming, but it was minimal, I didn’t notice it anywhere near the opening of the sink. All in all, I’m so glad to discover these, they’ll be a regular part of my kitchen cleaning routine.

Hard water – Not sure that it lasted long enough to do much
Our water is very hard. Hard water does not create as many suds as soft water. When I put this in our garbage disposal, I couldn’t see any suds at all even though the instructions specifically say to keep the disposal and hot water running about a minute or until the suds are gone. At first when I dropped a tablet in, I heard about two noises indicating that the tablet was being thrown against the side of the disposal chamber and then I heard a sound like sanding. All of that lasted less than 10 seconds and then there were no more indications that the tablet had ever existed. My garbage disposal wasn’t too dirty before I threw the tablet in, but I couldn’t verify that there was much difference afterwards. Maybe some. It’s hard to know how to rate this when I can’t verify that it did much good. First, I suspect that it would perform better in soft water. Second, I like the ingredients that the tablets contain and it does seem like they should be able to do SOME cleaning. Unfortunately, I don’t have much evidence that they really work. We do not use our garbage disposal on a regular basis because the home inspector had told us when we were looking at the property that using it a lot would not be good for our septic system. For the time being, I’m giving them 3 stars, but that is subject to change since I intend to purposefully use our garbage disposal and monitor how well these work.

Better than nothing, I suppose
I haven’t found a go to product for cleaning my disposal, so I don’t do it often enough. I realize the poor logic of that. At any rate, I’m always interested in trying something new, and I was definitely intrigued by “minty fresh” which I generally associate with toothpaste. I didn’t notice a lot of foaming with this product, and I did use extra since it’s been so long. I did notice the minty fresh scent, and it was as weird as I expected, but it was also a marked improvement over the stank. I’m giving it 4 stars for the benefit of the doubt since I’m a bit of a tough customer, but it’s more like 3.5. And it did improve the odor. I’m not going to go so far as to recommend it, though, and I certainly won’t reorder.
