I wanted to love this. But it didn’t fit my faucet. They send a few different fittings and washers so that’s helpful, but it just didn’t fit. Return process was very easy. This looked very sturdy and didn’t seem to large.

The extender faucet aerator mostly works well. It is well made from quality materials. However, three sprayer modes may be one too many for some. The bubble and spray modes are common to many faucet aerators. The Frizzlife FD1440 includes a third mode — blade spray. Some liken it to a fan spray from a pressure washer. For me, it was nothing like a pressure washer effect except for the fine mist backspray that’s produced. The blade spray did no better on soiled dishes and cookware than the regular conical spray.The two-mode faucet aerator I currently have in the kitchen can alternate between modes using one hand (using a push-pull motion). The Frizzlife aerator uses a twisting motion to change modes. When starting in bubble mode then transitioning to spray mode and then to blade mode, this can be done using one hand. But to revert back to spray mode from blade mode, it requires 2 hands be used to twist the spray head. And then to return to bubble mode from spray, only one hand is needed.The double articulated arm does allow for the water stream to reach all parts of the sink basin and if one is not careful with the faucet setting, one can easily drench a counter top in short order — something that I am not able to do with my old two-mode aerator.For those who like the clean, sleek look of a chrome faucet, attaching the extender may disrupt their senses. The extender attachment comes threaded on both the outside and inside where it connects to the faucet. If no adapter is needed, then the outside threads remain exposed and that clean, sleek look is gone. If an adapter is needed (to match different thread sizes), many adapters are supplied, however they are made of plastic and are “battleship grey” in color.I live in an area where the municipal water supply carries sediments. Every couple of years, the city flushes out the main supply lines to remove settled sediments. This procedure carries sediments to the household faucets that are captured by faucet aerators. When enough sediment accumulates in the aerators, they must be removed from the faucets and cleaned. Often the aerators need to be disassembled for a thorough cleaning. I contacted Frizzlife customer service for instructions to disassemble the FD1440 aerator. I have attached a diagram showing how the aerator’s 3 layers of filtration are arranged within the body of the aerator. Customer service informed me the aerator cannot be disassembled.Will the Frizzlife extender aerator replace my 10-year old two-mode aerator? I think not. However, I will keep it on hand as a backup.
