Great product
If you own the models that accept Lithium Ion and are thinking of opting for Nickel Cadium versions because of price I’d suggest not too. The Lithium hands down works longer and lasts further plus overall efficiency in battery cycles if charged for short bursts are excellent .

A reliable battery
The replacement battery fits my iRobot 7150 just right. It brought my vacuum back to life with expected performance like before. The installation tool included made the process quick. It is a reliable battery. I am pleased with the product.

Gets the job done
I bought this battery for my Roomba i4 after the original one completely stopped charging for quite a while. My husband installed it and the vacuum started working again.So far itâs holding a charge and seems to power the Roomba to clean our living room and two nearby rooms before the low battery warning kicks in. It then automatically heads back to the dock. Itâs only been a short time, so I canât comment on long-term performance, but for now, itâs doing what I need it to do: keeping the Roomba running and cleaning.

Just like OEM, includes screwdriver to replace old battery
Battery installed/charged fine and runtime is close or the same as the original battery.Very easy to replace. If unsure, videos are available to see how it’s removed and replaced.The included small screwdriver is nice, and is all you need to replace it and you have a brand new battery in your Roomba!

Great Replacement For i7+ Battery
12/30/24 This review is for for Roomba Replacement Battery ABL-D1 Battery for iRobot Roomba i&e Series i7 i7+ j7 j7+ i3 i3+ i4 i4+ e5 e6 Roomba Replacement Parts 14.4V 1800mAh/26Wh (Not fit for iRobot Roomba Combo Series ). I have an iRobot i7+. It started not making it back to its’ home base to charge after vacuuming and/or having to make multiple trips back to the base to recharge just to finish a room. This battery fits in my vacuum and seems to work fine. It has improved the performance of my vacuum. It was easy to install (make sure you recycle your old battery – don’t throw it in your trash!) and is more economical than OEM. The only reason I canât give it 5 stars right now is I think that would be premature as I don’t know how it’s going to perform over the long-term and many recharge/vacuum sessions. If it continues to perform as well as it is now, I would definitely rerate it to 5!

Seems to work fine
I was pleased to receive what appears to be a genuine iRobot OEM battery and not a generic knockoff. It came with a two sided page of instructions that apply to any battery ie “Connect the positive pole of the battery to the positive terminal and the negative pole to the negative terminal.” which doesn’t apply here because there is only one way to install the battery.Speaking of installation…. the battery did not come with installation instructions so I had to search online. It’s actually very easy to do but it wouldn’t hurt for the manufacturer to include a brief explanation of the installation or a link to the specific iRobot website.Several reviewers noted that they received a screwdriver with their battery. I did not but I had the correct sized phillips screwdrivers that were needed.I installed the battery and let it charge overnight. It was fully charged this morning and the roomba was ready to run the scheduled program. Curiously, it backed off the charger, turned around a few times and then went back on the charger. I ran the schedule manually but the roomba seemed lost. It bumped into walls and did a scattershot cleaning rather than the straight line routine it previously did. I can’t believe that the new battery caused this so maybe it was due to the loss of power for the few minutes it took to swap the batteries. It’s clearly something that I’ll keep an eye on.At the end of the job the iRobot app showed that the battery still had about half it’s charge left, which is better than my old battery. So I guess it works!

improve the cleaning time
This would really improve the cleaning time and coverage. My Roomba could run for a lot longer on one single charge, covering the entire house without needing to return to the base. I have indeed been satisfied with this replacement battery. It has restored my Roomba to its original cleaning power and made a great big difference in cleanliness.
