Well, after 20+ years of using my “Algae Free Tigershark”, I upgraded to this brand due to good reviews.I feel this was an upgrade due to the increased magnetic pull and bilateral blades. Cut cleaning time by about 1/3 of my old magnet. The acrylic is much cleaner with this magnet, than my old one.Con: Doesn’t take corners as fast as the tigershark and therefore, will keep the old one in the tank just for the one side.Overall> 5 stars. I hope this one lasts 20+ years also.Oh, and for the price, I suggest going as big as you can afford.

If you have algae that’s like spray paint like another reviewer described, this scraper/cleaner it just works, super strong magnets hold strong enough , now it works but you’ll have to use a lot of elbow grease to clean the algae off , trick is scrape every other day and limit light or sun so as to not allow the little green monster to take hold

This is really good for cleaning my aquarium, if anything the magnets are too strong!The instructions leave a bit to be desired, in small text and difficult to read and understand.I’ve not been able to get the ‘Flip’ to work, as the inside scraper doesn’t float as I thought. Luckily I have an aquarium expert to ask about this. Instructions need to be clearer.
