Effective Stick Vac
I got this vacuum because I wanted something to vacuum the picture molding, ceiling fan blades, window and door trim, and handle quick vacuum jobs in my house. This little stick vac does a great job for all of these chores.It came with a few vacuum accessories, a brush attachment, one of those skinny attachments, and a fully functioning vacuum cleaner for cleaning wider swaths of your floor. The vacuum cleaner attachment has a convenient light and a roller with its own motor so it does not rely on air pressure to make it spin. This stick vac also came with a mount so you can hang it up on the wall in your broom closet or wherever.My kids saw me using the vacuum to clean the trim over the doorways and they wanted to use it too, so I let them clean the floor with it. My 5-year old had a blast vacuuming the living room, and my almost-3-year old was able to get in on the action because I was able to remove the extension tube and hook the vacuum cleaner attachment directly to the handle making it into a super-short vacuum cleaner perfect for her height.It does a good job for your standard messes. It picks up cereal, dirt, dust, and Legos with ease. We had to pull out thin pieces of plastic that can get caught in the tubing, but that is easy enough since it comes apart into manageable sections. The opening into the dirt collector is a little bit on the smaller side, so anything bigger than a 2×2 Lego block will get jammed in it and will need to be pulled out by hand.This stick vac is great for cleaning and dusting overhead, and for handling the smaller messes around the house when you don’t feel like pulling out the full-size vacuum, and it is a great way to get the kids involved in cleaning up. I really like it!

Simple, convenient, and works well
As we don’t have carpeting, for a long time the only vacuum cleaner we had was a corded hand-held one, mostly for cleaning couches and chairs, spot-cleaning, hard-to-reach corners, and other small jobs. A broom/dust pan and a mop did the rest.Then this stick cleaner came my way, and I decided that this might be a convenient tool to have. We tried this Farberware cleaner on our hardwood floors, in the tiled kitchen and bathrooms, and on our short-piled area rug. It performed pretty well on all of these surfaces. I especially liked the amazing swiveling flexibility of the brush, and also the headlights highlighting the little particles you wouldn’t see otherwise. I like that this vacuum is corded, so it is ready to work when you are. While the 15-foot cord is not retractable, the cord management attachment can conveniently store it out of the way, and the little notches can lock the plug end in place. Emptying and washing the dustbin, attaching and detaching the tools are all easy. These where the cleaner lives up to the advertised features.What are the cons? First, it doesn’t stand on its own, as the box claims, it can only stand up against the wall, preferably in a corner for added stability. Second, the box advertises a wall-mounted bracket. While a wall bracket, screws and dowels are included, there is absolutely no way this flimsy bracket can support a 6 lb device. It can hold the small additional attachments, though.

Perfect for a dorm room!
I got this for my daughter who is a freshman in college. She lives with one roommate and their building doesn’t provide their floor or any students with a vacuum cleaner. Her room is mostly covered in indoor/outdoor carpeting too. She doesn’t have the floor space for a large model vacuum cleaner and this is a perfect compact vacuum for dorm usage.The packaging is intimidating at first, and the directions aren’t great. It comes in many pieces. Fortunately, all the pieces that come together are easy to figure out, and the vacuum itself doesn’t need to be assembled. I like how you can break this down into a hand vacuum too. The girls will need to vacuum under beds and in tight spaces so it’s nice that this breaks down and builds up easily for their cleaning needs.In terms of storing/holding this skinny vac, this comes with a plastic ‘caddy’ that has a large swatch of that sticky backing you get on like temporary coat hooks, but there’s no way to take this adhesive off the wall or move it once you peel it and stick it. I don’t like that. I don’t know how strong the adhesive is and just how easily this can be taken off a wall so I am not sure I would advise my dorm kids to use it without some kind of caution, but this plastic “holder” is what is going to prop up the vacuum.

Suction is not the best
I really wanted to like this since it was from a well known company but there’s definitely better brands out there. I have a cheap $50.00 heavy Bissell that has 10x more suction than this. There’s heavy foot traffic in and out of our kitchen and living room and you have to pass over the floor 5 or 6 times to pick everything up. It’s a very lightweight vacuum which is nice for someone with a shoulder injury but only if you have light duty cleaning to do. I personally am not a fan of the floor attachment only because it doesn’t click to help hold it up, it just dangles so you have to prop it up against something if you need to put it down fora moment. The collection box is pretty small and have to clean it out almost every room but I do have 6 animals so keep that in mind.

SO lightweight!
The only con I have with this stick vacuum is the motor floor brush doesn’t lock in the upright position. Which kind of makes it tilt if you place it up against something. I’m disabled and on oxygen… it’s a real chore for me to bust out the heavier vacuum we have just to get the spots that the roomba missed. This was a game changer for me honestly… light enough and easy enough to move that I wasn’t getting winded using it. Granted I can only do one room at a time still but that’s more than before. Good product, convenient and easy to use.
