Great for the money
This is an affordable and effective vacuum cleaner. I really like the ease of use, both attaching and removing additional implements. It’s obviously not as strong as my corded vacuum but it’s so nice not having to work around a cord, unplugging and re-plugging in every room. I use this vacuum EVERY day and have had no negative issues with it.Prior to purchasing, I read a lot of the other reviews and the one that got my attention was the unavailability of a second battery. Therefore prior to purchasing I did a bit of research and was able to find an aftermarket battery…which surprisingly seems to hold a charge a bit longer that the original one. The aftermarket battery is part # 17475000018253 which can be purchase from ENCOMPASS SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS for $86.36 plus tax and shipping.I also purchase this unit because it can be wall mounted for out of the way storage. The ONLY negative issue is that the battery must be attached to the vacuum to be charged. It would be nice to have a separate charging unit so the extra battery can be charged while using the vacuum. I mostly use the vacuum on “high” and “carpet” setting. The battery usually lasts about 20 minutes in this mode.

Some battery tips
I received the Stylus model last week and the owner’s guide doesn’t mention too much about battery care. I looked up some info that I wanted to share:Fully charge the vacuum before first use. The manual does mention this. The lights will blink and then the lights will turn off when the vacuum is fully charged.Do not run the battery down to empty. Charging the vacuum to 100% and then using it until the battery dies (0%) is bad for the battery health. This is called the depth of discharge. Charging it to 100% and then going down to 0% is a large depth of discharge. You want a small depth of discharge for good battery health. It is ok to leave it plugged in on the charger when not in use.Wait until the vacuum cools off before recharging.Lithium ion batteries do not have a “memory”.The battery does not come off this vacuum. It is not possible to switch to another battery. There is one battery and one battery only for the life of the vacuum. When the battery is at the end of its rechargeable life, I hope it can somehow be removed and disposed of properly and not with the whole vacuum in the landfill. Not really the best battery system.I bought this vacuum to clean my carpeted stairs. I have 6 cats and two of them have long hair. I used it without the wand extension. So far, it is doing a good job. If anything changes, I will update my review. Promise!

Works well for “normal” cleaning – great support!
We had bought two of these for home plus cottage. They work very well on both bare floor and carpet. Multiple power selections work for both easy and moderately difficult cleaning, and allow stretching the charge. We have 3000 ft2 of 80% tile and 20% carpet and one charge does the whole house, but with not much to spare. The dirt reservoir must be emptied every 30-60 minutes of use – this is kind of up close and personal, I often have to stick a finger in to get a giant dust bunny out. The main performance limitation is “gravel”, where it does not reliably pick up grit larger than about 1/8″. The powered brush nozzle for use on carpet very effectively winds up hair and needs to be cleaned by hand and scissors regularly. My second unit stopped working after about 1 year ( but only maybe 20 hours of use). The help number brought immediate assistance from a human being. After a checkout process, I was asked to provide a video of certain operations to prove that it was defective. The case was then “recommended” for refund, a decision was made to refund in 3 days, and a check arrived soon thereafter. I was quite happy with the resolution and promptly bought another one.

Only useful for verrrry light cleaning.
I can’t recommend this vacuum for anyone doing anything more than the lightest cleaning. Do not get this if you have pets (or people) that shed. Do not get this expecting to vacuum a whole house in one go. I would put the limit for one charge at a mid-sized carpeted room. If either of these apply to you, look at something else. The 45-minute advertised run time must be based on the lowest suction level and no attachments. Fair enough, but the light suction level is not enough to pick up almost anything (and I mean it barely picks up dog hair), you really need the high suction power to be useful (and this level actually does work fine). The problem is that this doesn’t just cut the runtime in half, it cuts it to about a fifth, less than 10 minutes for me. Add the head attachment with the rolling thing, and it’s more like 5 minutes – about enough time to do a single room. And concerning the head attachment, it stops functioning with a modest amount of hair / dog fur stuck on the bristles – I need to pick it out pretty much every time I use it (to be fair, I do have two sheddy dogs). The bagless canister is tiny and gets stuff stuck above the barrier which means you need to take it apart most of the time you use it to actually get everything out.Edit: After a year of light occasional use (~15 times total) the batteries are failing and it doesn’t even charge up near the full level. Do not get this.

On Carpet Full power this thing really pulls you along. It it pretty agile and light as well. Mine was discounted via warehouse deals and it was a steal. Would highly recommend even at reg. price.

Never really took the time to evaluate my purchases online for the benefits of other buyers. This time is different. In over 50 years of purchasing vacuums of different brands and prices, such as Hoover, Electrolux, Bissel etc, this is the first time I feel I made an excellent purchase. The suction is one of the strongest for a, it is well build and engineered, sturdy even if there’s a lot of plastic, lightweight and my best surprise : The level of noise is quite acceptable and does not unnerve or irritate like my previous ones plus, although a bit more expensive than others, I find it is worth it, Excellent price-quality-performance ratios. I fully recommend.

The only thing I donât like is when I run it at full power I can only get through half of my bedroom house before it runs out of charge and needs re-charging.

Have had this product for a month now. Love it!. So easy to take out and use to do a quick dog fur pick up. Parts are changed easily and quickly. Super easy to empty and so far holds its charge well. Definitely happy with this product so far.

Awful. Worst vacuum I have ever purchased. Had high hopes but the design is clunky and heavy and the battery is already failing. Iâve had it less than a month. It was ok first few uses but the suction isnât very powerful. The vacuum with full battery charge stops after 10 -20 seconds of vacuuming. You have to wait before pressing power on again & keep repeating the process. Iâll be following up for a replacement or refund. Very disappointed.
