NO FRILLS*****WORKS GREAT
This is my second Eureka. This model is $100 and works great.It does everything that you need a vac to do BUT at a much lower price than almost all the other name brand models.Easy to use, no frills, or bags.Dump the containts, rinse out the plastic container, dry, and go.Light weight and easy to handle. Assembles fine, once you get the hang of it (took me twice).Amazon had it last week for under $100.I read the the new model will be slighly higher ($20?)I have been fighting with another high priced name brand, for 2 years. It was VERY inferrior to my new vacuum.Highly recomend this item. especially for families with children.It is iight enough and reasonable enough to pick up 2….one for the kids, one for you!!!!I will now go pour my glass of wine!

Very good vacuum at a great price.
This vacuum arrived a few days ago and have been putting it to the test since day one.Good: the price was very, very good. A full size vacuum that is surprisingly light weight and very powerful. Not using bags is a great feature and it holds a lot before having to be emptied.Bad: it canât handle thick carpeting very well. It will work, but will take a while.At this point will see how well it does in the long haul.

Best vacuum ever
I’ve had it now for about a year and a half and so far haven’t had a single issue. I have 2 dogs (border collie mix and a Belgian shepherd) and this thing picks up so much hair. As a custodian I want to get one for work too! It’s light weight and the bagless feature makes it so easy to clean.

This powerful “cheapie” vacuum is Perfect for fast vacuuming
This “like new” Amazon Warehouse unit was one of Very few items I’ve bought “Like New” that Wasn’t; but ok once cleaned up & pieces put on correctly, it’s Now like new. Also, shipped with no packing (an obvious return re-shipped out “as is”). Yikes. Anyway, this is my 2nd Eureka Power Speed (Do Not get the Air Speed–no power/suction like this one); my first mega-plastic, Loud but suction-happy Power Speed gave a good fight, but for all it’s cheap components, gasped it’s last with 1 squeaky wheel ready to come off & screws falling out of it last week. For about $18/yr, worth every penny. Loved it, as did my aching arthralgic hands, arms. Don’t want to use my very nice, deep cleaning vac every day. So, I read Many reviews before getting THIS one, nearly identical to my previous older model. I did Not get the newest, updated version that is already cheaper than this one. As one reviewer said–speaks for itself right there. THIS (Eureka NEU 182A) one actually sounds Exactly like my old one. Exactly. It has identical LOUD motor pitch and amazing suction for such a bargain unit. This one has a better designed, sturdier handle. When I use this vac, dust, pet hair, dirt is Gone…even a day or two later, when following up with my pricey, wieldy, canister vac, there’s little to no extra hair, dirt (except when dogs are in shedding season, cleaning new messes, etc). THIS Eureka Power Speed is a formidable (albeit LOUD–can’t stress it enough) plastic wonder. I use it on vinyl & wood flooring, tile bath floor, low pile area rugs, and old carpeting on stairs, in hallway. Not used on plush carpets. For quick pick-ups, since 1980s, I’ve tried Hoover, Dirt Devil, B & D stick/mini upright vacs, but this is the only one that WORKS. I rip around the house and often end up banging it into stairs, kitchen bullnose, trim, shoes, furniture, etc and this plastic Power Vac takes a fair beating. I would never roughly use my fancy vac like this. I even vacuumed around the seating area on the outdoor cement deck–DRY surface, obviously. Excellent results! Bonus: no rollers to clean, no pricey bags or filters, belts, etc., Plus the cord is Much longer. No extension cord needed. Yay. You.cannot.do.better for under $65.

Good idea but not well applied
All of the functions work but , the engineering has a lot to be desired, I have made a few changes just to make it easier to work with.

Es la segunda aspiradora Eureka que compro en Amazon. La primera (Pet Turbo) casi idÃ©ntica a la actual, me encantaba pero la regalÃ© a un familiar. Aquella Pet Turbo incluÃa el Cepillo Adicional para mascotas con el Mecanismo Giratorio impulsado por SucciÃ³n de Aire, que realmente solo servÃa para remate final de limpieza.La aspiradora actual es muy parecida, ya que tambiÃ©n incorpora lo mÃ¡s importante â el Cepillo Integrado para suelos (power speed) con potente Mecanismo Giratorio impulsado por Accionamiento ElÃ©ctrico â que no depende del efecto de succiÃ³n y es muy eficiente a la hora de limpiar superficies cubiertas de pelos. El Cepillo Integrado es capaz de arrancar los pelos enganchados en tela, y con esto no se enrolla, sino automÃ¡ticamente se deshace de basura que acumula, mandÃ¡ndola al contenedor. NingÃºn otro cepillo es igual de eficiente y rendidor.Sin embargo, emplear el cepillo de suelos para aspirar sofÃ¡s es poco higiÃ©nico, por esto para quitar pelusa de superficies sensibles es aconsejable usar el Guante de Goma mojado frotando, haciendo luego el remate con cepillos adicionales. We had a Shark for the carpet. Worked fine but then started to have problems. Got this based on reviews. LOTS of suction power – cleaned up the carpet and removed SO MUCH stuff that the Shark did not. OMG. Yes it’s loud…but having a loud machine that cleans everything versus something the doesn’t clean everything….give me the loud machine any day. Been a couple weeks so if things change will update. Right now, this is a thumbs up.
