I was so happy when I received the vacuum…I haven’t purchased a vacuum in 25 years! I charged the vacuum for several hours the day I received it, followed instructions…I pressed on the power button and nothing, it wouldn’t turn on. My new Eureka vacuum is a lemon. I am so disappointed. I called Amazon the same day, and they said to contact Eureka. The Amazon rep was very nice and helpful and she said she will follow up with me 3 days later and she said she wants me to be 100% satisfied. It is now 4 days later and no one has called me to follow up. Eureka said they can’t help me and to return the vacuum on Amazon. I am disappointed because the Amazon rep didn’t follow up and this vacuum is no longer available. There is a similar vacuum that costs $65 more and I dont want to spend more for a similar vacuum. I am usually very happy with Amazon’s service, they have been amazing. This is the first time I am disappointed.

This vacuum worked really well until it didn’t…
I’ve only had this vacuum since August 2022 (it’s March 2023) and already the floor nozzle has to be replaced. The brush stopped working, the light stopped working and the suction has decreased. i contacted Eureka for support and they said that they would send me a new floor nozzle. Then about two weeks later, they said that the part was not available and they did not know when it would ship. At this point, I believe they should just send me a new vacuum as it is still under warranty and there’s no reason for it to have problems like this. Otherwise, I was really happy with this light weight, bendable vac that fits under all my furniture. The light is a great feature and it seemed to work fairly well on pet hair. So, I would recommend, but I need mine to be fixed or replaced. I hope this helps someone.

Eureka stands behind their products!
Product worked very well in all aspects, good suction for the small cleaning unit. Good run time.It worked for 7 months and stopped working. Not because of a battery problem, it had a full charge and in about 10 minutes at full power without warning it shut down the motor, whould not except a Charge.Company Gave A Full Refund Back for the defective the product.Bought another one, hope it will make it pass warranty period of 1.5 years

Broken in 6 months
Worked great for a while; it’s nice and light and the folding stick is helpful. Unfortunately the weak plastic pieces inside the head fused together and the unit is useless for cleaning the floors. Waste of time for a pet owner.

Unable to charge it……but eventually found out to be more satisfied.
Bought it in Jul. 2022, light, cordless, easy to use and maintain, 40 minutes battery, nice look and vacuum well for both my wooden floor and carpet …Actually, it fits all my needs and works great until last weekend. Last Saturday, I charged it as usual, but the Battery Indicator Light didn’t work as usual. It flashed 3 times, then goes out. Any way I plugged it into power for the whole night…The fact is that it wouldn’t charge anymore and unable to work anymore.I had told and emailed my Amazon Invoice to Eureka Customer Service on Monday. Hope they’ll review my case soon.Below is the final result:The Eureka Customer Service answered my email soon. After I email back the certain questions to help them identify the problem, they set the refund request for me……I called on Mon., I had been told the refund on Wed., I got refund approval email on Friday……What is the greatest shopping experience? This is it. The Amazon webpage is clear and easy to find suitable products. The product itself fits your all needs. The customer service responds you fast, concise, easy to follow, and very professional If you unfortunately had issues about the product.Now, I had bought a new Eureka NEC185 again in sake of the suitable product itself and the great Eureka Customer Service.

It checked all my boxes!
This Eureka beat out three other vacuums. Each had +’s but were returned. As compared to the others at any setting and my Oreck, this vacuum purrs along even on high. I’ve never before seen a vacuum a dog didn’t react to until my dog met this one. It’s lightweight, attractive & easy to empty. Its head is responsive. The folding wand was a must for me and this one is intuitive. Its suction is deceptive. Quiet and non-combative, the suction gently ingested from my prized Whittall rug what 2 other vacuums used immediately before it left behind. When I recently replaced my Oreck with another, I didn’t think that cordless was such a big deal because I live in 650 sq ft. But after living with this cordless, I now understand that cordless is the way to go. Although it does hold a charge well, the one thing that would make it perfect is to have a backup battery to swap out. This model Eureka is my keeper!
