Customers say

Customers find the vacuum cleaner has powerful suction that picks up dust and debris on wood floors, tile, and low-pile carpets. It is lightweight and easy to carry. Many customers say it works well on hardwood floors, tiles, and low-piling carpets. They appreciate its ability to clean high places, dust accumulated in moldings, and spider webs. The vacuum cleaner offers good value for money, ease of use, and sturdiness. However, some customers have reported issues with the build quality, saying the material doesn’t look durable, and the vacuum is too strong for Persian rugs.

Great Vacuum, Strong Suction, LOW PRICE
This is an amazing vacuum cleaner for such an affordable price point. It’s light, has a long cord, good suction, comes a part easily for cleaning and storage. I don’t need or want a lot of frills in my appliances. I just want them to to work well and not be too complex to maintain. I just want a refrigerator that keeps food cold. I just want a vacuum cleaner that has great suction and is easy to use. This vacuum cleaner is SO LIGHT and well designed. It works great and is easy to assemble/disassemble. Don’t waste your time on a fancier vacuum cleaner that doesn’t even work. This is THE BEST vacuum cleaner for the price!

    Good suction
So far this vacuum has been working good, I couldn’t wait to try it out when I got home from work. The suction is strong enough to lift my midsize area carpet off the floor. It’s light enough that you can hold it while reaching up with the hose to get the cobwebs, the brush head is light weight and if you are using it on a thicker carpet if can glide over it and feel like it’s not doing a thorough job like and upright can. The vent port at the back can be used as a blower when attaching the hose at the end, which is good for blowing out the garage. The cord length is fine and I like having the disposable bags as opposed to the bag less because it’s easy to change out and you have less dust released as opposed to the bag less. It comes with two bags and knowing this I bought a pack of 20 off Amazon because even though you can find the yellow eureka unit at Walmart I did not see any of the bags for it sold there.

    Good for the price.
Lightweight and easy to use, but feels flimsy. What do you expect from an $80 vacuum? But I have tendinitis and the light weight is kind on my tender hands. I’ll just have to be careful with it.Powerful suction. Good on hard floors. Pick up your socks and hair ties first or you might lose ’em. WAY better on stairs than my last vacuum.I can hear it sucking dirt out of the carpet, but it leaves pet hair in a fuzzy layer on top. You’ll want something different if you have fluffy pets.

    Sew powerful!!!!
Whether you are a “domestic” goddess, a quilter, or a seamstress, this vacuum is excellent! It has impressive suction power to pick up threads in your sewing room and clean your cutting area. Today, I used it upstairs to clean the stairs and reach all the hard-to-get spots, including ceiling fans. For the price and performance, it’s amazing. It’s also a bit quieter than most economy vacuums. My favorite feature is that it uses bags; I prefer this option over bagless models because it’s easier to clean, and dust doesn’t scatter everywhere when you empty it. Plus, this vacuum is lightweight, making it easy to carry around.

Perfect little machine – know your needs
My needs – I have a house with laminate flooring and large and small rugs, wool and synthetic, carpeted stairs, and upstairs is entirely carpet. (I haven’t tried cleaning the car yet, no doubt that’s going to be a success.)First off, this machine has outstanding suction. I’ve had it one week and there’s a lever on the top you can push to allow air flow for vacuuming back and forth or just single flow for straight suction and it get the job done. There is so much suction created around it that it’s even coated in wool rug fibers or dog hair that didn’t make it inside. I don’t even need to go back twice, the suction is so good.Be prepared, it feels incredibly lightweight, maybe even cheap. I thought, how can this thing be well made? But it does everything I need it to do. The lightweight factor is wonderful when vacuuming each carpeted stair and dragging it up and down the stairs. So, this is actually a huge plus. There are 2 pipes that you connect for length when vacuuming the floor. On the stairs I take one pipe out and the length is perfect. The head is wide enough that it’s effective for vacuuming (again, one stroke works for my short length rugs), but it’s flat enough that it fits under everything – low chairs, couches, etc. If I push the lever on the head down flat, I can’t draw it back and forth easily (the suction is too strong), but it’s flat, so I can push it waaay back under the couches and get that dust that is so hard to reach without moving the couches. This is a big plus for me.The pipes all connect by friction, just pushing them together. Sometimes they pop off if you catch something and pull too hard, but my last ($450) vacuum (which was heavier but I loved) broke beyond repair when the connector to the head snapped where there was a locking mechanism, and that part is now discontinued. So frustrating!! So, this little vacuum seems like it will be less likely to “snap” anywhere because the parts will disconnect under pressure. I hope that turns out to be the case.My son assembled the unit and I used it right away. Forgot to add a bag and I was very upset – but the bag is inside already! Well done, Eureka!!The cons to this machine, as far as I can tell after multiple uses in the first week, are that there is no automatic cord winding mechanism. But, the cord is longer than my last machine – if I plug it in the middle of the house, it reaches the ends of both sides of the house. Obviously this depends on your home, but my other vacuum was just a few feet short. I can then also vaccum the entire stairs and then move the cord 1 time to get the entire house. I don’t like winding the cord, so in a pile it goes if I’m lazy. Worth it for not having to move that cord!!This is not a self propelled machine. You must push the vacuum, it does not “propel” itself with a turning brush. There is a brush, but it’s not motorized. I am a reasonably strong 40+ woman and I am happy to push it, but if you have medical issues and can’t push it, this could be a more physical job. I expect vacuuming to be work, so I’m fine with this and feel the low cost is worth it. I believe it also is related to the reduced weight of the machine and its tools.I hope this review is thorough and helpful for those making a decision. I never purchase warranties, but given the lightweight nature of this machine, I think I would have considered it. I paid $81 for this machine after taxes. I would definitely be described as frugal and cost conscious. Considering the varied reviews and high cost of other well rated machines, I am very happy with my purchase! I don’t write reviews very often, but I want other consumers to know the pros and cons so they can make an educated decision.

    Best vacuum EVER!!!
I love eureka vacuum cleaners and this little guy is awesome. Amazing suction, very light weight if you need to carry it with one hand and the attachments that came with work well with what I’m using it for. The only negative thing about this vacuum is that the 2 black plastic wands that come with it are made out of a thinner plastic making it seem like the wands could easily break. I fixed that issue, I’m using 2 wands from another vacuum cleaner that came from another eureka machine and everything fits just right. So I would say SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS VACUUM BECAUSE ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT. The price is very reasonable. You won’t regret buying it!!!!

powerful but the tubes like to come apart easily.
the tubes enjoy coming apart! very powerful, lightweight and does the job very well; buy some ‘duct tape’ if you want to keep them togetherupdate:i used a heat gun to warm the tube then re-inserted the tube, and this corrected so it fits perfectly, the tubes do not disconnect any longer.
