In love with a clean house!
This is my first robot vacuum and I absolutely love it! Review is after a current month of use.Object detection: 9/10This does a fantastic job of detecting common objects that might cause problems. You get alerts on your phone and it takes a picture of the object it avoided so you can review what you had laying around your house. It did however pick up a small charging cable once, I think it just had one of those once in a thousand chances to approach the cable on the ground at a perpendicular angle while it was laid out straight on the ground so the camera had a hard time recognizing it. Grey cable over grey rug you know. But I chalk it up to a fluke as its detected the cable on the ground when its more bunched up rather than laid flat out. When it did vacuum up the cable the vacuums tangle detection went off right away and the vacuum stopped in its tracks to prevent any sort of damageVacuuming: 9/10I love it but i will be hard pressed to give it a 10/10 on anything. Vacuuming works amazing for my modest apartment. I have no kids and no pets so it never has too much to pick up after it. The app allows you to set multiple type of modes from light vacuuming to more thorough deep clean. The vacuum itself it able to transition from my area rugs rather well, the only thing it seems to have issue with is lighter rugs but its more of a problem of those rugs then the vacuum. I can’t expect the vacuum to be smart enough to avoid the curled up ends of my hallway runner and not fold it over itself. My bathroom rugs are another story however. I have concrete floors and my mats slide around easily and because of this the vacuum can’t properly drive on top of them, ends up just trying to push them around. The auto-emptying feature can be a bit loud as well as the vacuum itself, I tend to let it run while i’m at work however so that has never been an issue for me. So nice coming home to a clean house every day!Mopping: 8/10Disclaimer I’ve only used the mopping feature a couple times. I haven’t used it on anything extensive, ive had a few minor spills that it appears to mop up well. Mostly i’ve just been treating this as a light mopping to clean up day to day dirt that accumulates during the week, I choose to run the mop once a week for my kitchen. The main reason i knocked it down to 8 is when i’ve applied a deep clean and watched it I believe the mop might have a tendency to dry out and not enough water gets applied. It could also be some settings I need to better apply.I will say I had some sticky spots on my floor and it cleaned it up properly so i’m 100% happy with it for my needs. The full self drying and cleaning feature of the mop pads it wonderful as well! I would recommend emptying the dirty water tank day of cleaning or else I would imagine it would start to smell having dirty water just sitting in that container. Also emptying it out quickly means it only needs a quick rinse with clean water to keep any sort of smell from building up and sticking inside from the dirty water. Which for me is a concern since the docking station sits behind the couch for me.AI Features:- Object detection 9/10: as i went over above earlier- Room Detection 10/10: Robot did a fantastic job mapping out different rooms in my house. Makes it so easy to explicitly tell it to clean certain rooms. For example due to my bathroom rugs I have it ignore vacuuming the bathroom on its daily task. Then on the weekend I can pull out my mats and send the bot to go clean just the bathroom, or I can set a weekly task for just mopping up the kitchen and main entryway- All in one cleaning 10/10: You can set the robot to figure out when it should vacuum and mop. I have concrete floors with area rugs, the robot will map out and properly detect your carpet and will intelligently figure out it shouldn’t mop your carpet and only mop the hardwood/concrete sections. In the map the app builds of your floor plan you can actually see it map out any carpet you have over hardwood floors. All in all I would say the AI does better than advertised. A good example is on setup, they’ll recommend you place the docking station somewhere with a good foot around both sides to make sure the robot can get back to the docking station and i’ve placed my docking station in a corner against a wall due to limited room. I can definitely see it have difficulty in navigating back to the docking station because it wants to make sure it doesnt scratch up the wall, but it always finds its way back with time. Ive tested placing it per recommendations and it has no issue navigating back to docking station immediately. but if you dont have a large place to put it, don’t worry about having too much room on either side, just make sure you have a nice straight unobstructed path in front of it and it will be fine.I was honestly feeling I was having trouble justifying the price of this just to keep my house clean, but honestly coming home to a freshly clean house everyday is a mental health game changer. Especially when you don’t have to put in any physical effort to keep it moderately clean. I come home and see the clean lines on my carpet from my vacuum running earlier, any small spills making breakfast are cleaned up before I get home.Another major bonus, since you can start cleanup tasks remotely. If you’re out on a date and feel like you might bring your partner back home, or your out with any company and you know they’ll be coming back to your place later to relax you can start a quick vacuum task to do a small bit of tidying up before anyone arrives telling it specifically to clean only the rooms where your guests might be relaxing!Edit:I would just like to give a few month update on this product since I know like myself hearing about how well these vacuums last after a few months is key. Vacuum is still a 10/10 for me. I come home to a clean home everyday after work, and it’s fantastic to use for my kitchen after I just finished cooking, letting it mop up any liquids that fell and vacuum up the little bits of food. My house always feels spotless and clean and it’s amazing.

Waited two weeks to review and i like it
The first mapping of home, eufy doesnât use its brain at all, it gets tangled a lot to wires and things, some people complained about it, i had same experience. But removing all obstacles helped map.First couple of runs were ok, did like 90% of the job fine. Mopped with out soap, did great job mopping. Didnât need the extended arms for my home at all.Few days later we received some packages and we had a lot of thermacol all around the home because kids crushed it. We removed the big chunks. I played around with options in eufy app in room cleaning to do deep cleaning and put the suction to max. This was game changer, it cleaned the rooms so well, so well, i donât see a tiny fraction of thermacol anywhere in the room. Fantastic job. Great obstacle avoidance as well. It navigated so so well around things. But thin wires are still a problem. Mopping water comes only for a couple of runs, keep that in mind. Got tangled with the Christmas lightning. Must buy for the price.

Best anniversary gift
We have 5 kids and two Australian Shepherd that shed constantly . They are good dogs but the shedding and constant floor cleaning was driving me crazy . Iâve wanted a robot vacuum for years now , I was told they are wonderful , but I have a hard time spending money on myself . So my husband researched them and gave it to me for our anniversary. I honestly am in love with this thing . Itâs wonderful. I do have to move somethings around (so it can reach some spots ) and pick up my entry rugs at the front and back doors ( so that it doesnât get caught up on the the loose threads) but that is small compared to the wonderful job it does. Iâd say my floors are 98% cleaner . I love the feeling of clean floors on my bare feet. The mop feature is great just using water my floors are clean. And again itâs not 100% but I canât say I mop 100% ether. I run it every morning when drinking my coffee. The app is great and easy to use. I have to add fresh water and clean the dirty water every few days .Even though Iâm not sure I would have spent the money on myself ever, I say now that I have it IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!! Buy it if you can I donât think you will be disappointed.

Usage: large spaces, limited furniture, but varying surfaces (commercial carpet, high doormats, uneven wooden floor), plenty of foot traffic. We compared to a Shark robo vac (without mopping) and the eufy X10 Pro Omni beats the former in all of the categories below by a huge margin.Pros: easy to set up; mapping without issues, map editing intuitive, great app (quick to open, intuitive to use, plenty of videos are linked to the error messages and settings); powerful suction and mopping functionality; settings for spcaces are saved for the next time; operating pretty reliably over/around obstacles; doesn’t fall down stairs and respects no-go zones; easy maintenance (again the in-context support videos are quickly accessible, so google-ing the instructions on the wild internet), super-responsive support by phone, chat, and email (I cannot stress this feature enough – they even sent us a a evaluation package of their proprietory cleaning solution when we asked whether it was right for our hardwood floors – which it prooved to be [shiny surface, just as nice as Murphy’s, no lemon scent tough]).Cons: Can’t think of any. I think this is as good as it gets in terms of AI powered vacs/mops. I find it does need supervision, though. For spaces with furniture, I think it requires prep if you are after a thorough (close to the edges) clean. You have to move the furniture away from the wall, temporarily move power cables out of the way, etc. and then put it all back together again. And I would like earlier warnings about a compromised brushroll (entangled) or dustbin. The little guy was acting oddly, but I couldn’t figure out what was going on. So, there is some room for improvement. But now I know to just put ‘vac maintenance’ on my duty rotation sheet.Notes: It’s not as fast as I would like (especially when vaccuming & mopping in one go, looking at the history it took 1 hour to clean 77 sm2 (829 sf, no carpets, just hardwood floor). As it can’t do much more than that on a single full charge, I have taken to subdivide our large spaces so that the ‘Auto-return Cleaning function’ doesn’t kick in at inopportune times. There are scheduling functions available that might improve my usage, but I am not there yet. Out of the box it’s a bit chatty, which is not helpful as very hard to understand (by the time one has tuned into the voice and accent – the message is already over with and cannot(?) be repeated). And one last little thingi …. it goes quite close to the wall, which is great, but to do that it keeps bumping into the wall (and doors) which can be a little noisy. All in all: One of the few purchases that really made a difference and are a breeze to use. Highly recommended. Eufy rocks!

This was my first robot vacuum as I always thought they were a bit gimmicky. I chose Eufy because I have quite a few of their cameras and have always been impressed with the excellent build quality. The x10 doesn’t feel quite as solid as the cameras but it still impresses. It took me a while to figure out how to use the software but now that I have it is very comfortable. The first thing I did was have it automatically map my main floor. It managed to avoid the endless obstacles (I have 2 dogs and 3 cats + kids) and created a perfect map. Next came the cleaning. I have ceramic, vinyl and carpet on my main floor and it managed to do a great job on all of them. The battery life was barely sufficient to finish but I have a fairly large house (3000 sq ft). It loads up the mop with water and cleaner automatically and even refills and cleans the mop heads as needed. If also self empties the dust into a large storage bag at the base at the end of the cleaning.I had it map the second floor using their multi-map feature. It can sweep/vacuum a floor with no base unit but it cannot mop. I understand why since it has no chance to clean the mop heads once it has started or to refill the water reservoir. It would be nice if they sold optional base units to get around this limitation. The only unknown at this point is the longevity of the unit. As of now I am thrilled with the product. I will update this review if the unit fails to stand the test of time.

This little cleaning wizard is almost like having a live-in cleaning crew, minus the chatter. It zips around with powerful suction and a dual mop setup that lifts and dodges carpets like a pro. The AI obstacle avoidance is impressive, so no more rescue missions from under the couch! Plus, it cleans itselfâwashing, drying, refilling, and even emptying without complaining. Its not even loud its a bit nosy when emptying the dust bin for a few seconds but when its cleaning you can easily watch TV. Plus it makes a cool map showing you how and where it cleaned and if you let it it will take pictures of the obstacles it came across on its journey. But, Iâd love a base station that connects to a drain and water supply since it needs frequent refills and emptying. With two dogs, daily vacuuming, and mopping every other day, that would be a game-changer.It doesnât get as close to furniture as Iâd like and leaves some swirl marks. You canât control the mopping direction but setting it for two passes creates a nice checkerboard pattern. Itâs a fantastic time-saver, though with some room for improvement.I’ve attached images showing the swirl marks, cleaned vs. uncleaned areas, and what it misses near furniture. With two pugs shedding hair and leaving footprints, this cleaning wizard has its work cut out for it!

I have had this for about 6 weeks. This is my third robot vacuum. My 2nd Eufy. All of which did a good job. This is my third attempt at a robot mop and the first that actually worked. It took a few days to play with the settings, and ultimately settled on it vacuumed my carpet rooms in the morning and vacuuming and washing my hard floors in the evening after dinner. I have discovered it works best if you leave it alone. So play with the settings until you understand it and get to where you can live with and it works with your schedule. You can set the order of rooms you want it to clean, and what you want done in each room. You can set multiple schedules if that works best for you. I try to empty out the dirty water and rinse the tank after each use. I refresh the water every 3 days, alternating between water with a bit of solution and water only. Weekly I wash and air dry the containers and swap out the mop pads, clean the roller bar and tray. People considering buying this need to realize, it is not as good as a human, donât expect it to do as good a job as you would. Itâs great maintenance so you donât have to do as much work. It does not do edges and corners very well. Instead of mopping weekly. I only have to do it monthly. While I wonât say the hair detangler doesnât work, I will say it doesnât work well. You will still have to cut that out every week or two. A little weekly maintenance is way less work than mopping and vacuuming weekly and my floors are always clean. I have a cat and a dog and an allergy sufferer in the house. For the price point, itâs a rockstar. I can not recommend this enough.

I can really appreciate this machine. It is very intuitive and makes the weekend work load that much more attainable and complete. I have two floors, a little over 1000 squ ft per floor and I was finding my weekends consumed with “catch up” cleaning. The addition of this machine is as beneficial as the dishwasher or washing machine and dryer. It is doing most of the work so you don’t have to. I just need to do the daily wipe down of the surfaces and this machine will take care of the floors.I try and use it daily, that’s the true benefit of this machine. With daily use I have found the dirty water is getting cleaner and cleaner. I can spend more time on the hard to reach areas and focus on other tasks. I enjoy the fact that I can plan my cleaning as well. The machine mapped my home rather quickly (and on it’s own), I was happy about that. It seems to be getting better and better at getting around the house. I have managed to figure out how to separate rooms, insert no go zones, and tailor the cleaning to a room by room need.As a first time buyer of one of these home maintenance machines, I must say I am very impressed. Is it as good as what I would do? No. But it is much better at keeping the daily mess at bay so I can focus on other things.I would recommend this product as I have read the reviews, looked other models up on line for three months prior to finally making this purchase. I took the feed back to heart in this product profile and am happy to report that the other reviews are accurate. Consider some of the negative feed back as an opportunity to understand. Reading about the other options out there from the cheaper to the more expensive, I found this one to be quite good overall. The app is great for telling me how to maintain the machine parts, I am a firm believer in preventative maintenance of your home assisting cleaning supplies. The better care they receive the better cleaning ability they can produce.
