The vacuum was great, the app is awesome.
The app was awesome, it allows you to make borders, layouts, schedules, etc. I was impressed. This is my 2nd robot vac, my first one did not have an app at all. The ability to make borders is a game-changer for sure. The suction is great, it picks up a ton of dust and pet hair. I love that you can set a schedule, it just comes on automatically. So far the battery life has been good, it has not died during cleaning yet, it always returns home for recharging (my old one used to get lost a lot).With the borders you can keep it away from areas that it would typically get stuck in/under, like a coffee table. This has been helpful, my old one used to get stuck all the time… it would eventually die.It’s not too loud, I have a bunny and a puppy, it doesn’t bother either one.The mop is what you would expect. It is damp and it will wipe the floor down, but of course it’s not going to deep clean your floor, but you shouldn’t expect that with these types of vacuums.Overall it’s a great value, it’s a fraction of what some of the other brands cost and it works great. I did A LOT of research and comparison shopping, this was a good choice.

I bought this to replace my workhorse Roomba 671. I was hooked by the LIDAR mapping feature, programmable rooms and mopping feature. I have sadly had it for a few days longer than my 30 day returns window and I am now just stuck with it. After a month of using it, I regret the purchase. Here is why:1) it will often go to sleep on the charging dock and “device is offline” – which means you can’t get it to start a room from your phone or remotely, you have to go push a button on top to wake it back up (and be physically present) which defeats purpose of App2) the mopping function is a joke, even when pre-wetting the pad and having the tank full and setting it to high water, it limps a damp rag around the floor3) The mapping logic doesn’t work well. I keep mine in the laundry room but when I try to tell it to go clean another room it says “failure, cleaning area can’t be reached, returning to charge” but the doors are all open and there is not an obstacle keeping it from getting to a different room4) it struggles with thresholds and will get stuck on them and “Error, device is suspended in air”5) it is the perfect height to get stuck under the space between your dishwasher and the floor and it always gets stuck6) it keeps trying to remake the map of my house7) the user app is not particularly easy to use8) customer service is a third party vendor who doesn’t work for Eufy or understand the product. You call the number, pick from a handful of companies they support, then speak to someone who has never touched the product and refers you to the FAQ page or tells you to just reset everything.Lots of money for this experience after a monthSummary:I wish I would have bought any of the dozen other vacuum robots and regret this purchase

Love this guy
This is my 3rd robot vacuum. I returned the other 2 because 1 died 2 days after receiving it and the other was just not what I was hoping for. I decided to give the robot vacuum idea one more shot by purchasing the Eufy L35 Hybrid and I am completely blown away! It surpases all of my hopes and expectations by far. I only have the guy for 2 days so far but i’m already in love with him :)I did not try the mopping yet because I don’t like the idea of mopping without soap so i’m not overly excited to try it out.Pros:1. Mapping- Most robot vacuums are advertised for mapping skills but I was disappointed with the others. This vacuum is a complete genius. He creates a perfect little map of your house which can always be edited at any time. Each room can be labeled as you wish, the rooms can be divided or merged as well and there are cleaning settings you can set up for each room. He is really smart and has a plan to get to the full house when set on auto clean.2. The app- The app is awesome and really easy to use. It shows you which room he is in at all times so you can keep track of him. I love this because when I see him go into my babies room while she is sleeping, I can just adjust the volume to quiet him down and I can do this all by sitting on my couch ;).3. Great at finding its home- The other robot vacuums I had were really bad at finding their home and they would awkwardly go on a whole search throughout to house looking for the base. The L35 hybrid goes directly home and has no issues with this.Cons:1. No remote- the only way to control the robot is through the app or Alexa voice commands which isn’t such a big deal but I would have liked a remote as well.2. The climb threshold is not great. It can’t get into any of my bathrooms or laundry room and always gets stuck.3. Gets stuck on rugs. The rug at my front door is not large and easily moves so i’m not sure if there are any robot vacuums that wouldn’t get stuck on it but wish that wouldn’t be the case. He also gets stuck on my babies high chair and bouncer. You need to take this into consideration that if you have furniture with a base on the ground that is not so high he might get stuck and you will need to move it or set up no go zones4. A bit too large- He has a hard time going under my dresser due to it being a bit too large. He does manage to get under sometimes but he gets a bit stuck. The other robots I tried had no issue with this.I need to add that Eufy is a really solid company whom back their products and will not abandon you when you need help. I really think that is something that is very important and it is worth it to buy one of their products vs other companies due to how helpful they are.

Best Friend lives up to her name
I named my vacuum Best Friend because I had pretty high expectations of her life changing ability. Living with two small children, 2 golden doodles, and my husband, I was sweeping constantly. After each meal, when dogs came inside, I felt like the broom was constantly attached to my hand. My real attraction to this vacuum was her mopping feature and the potential to erase dog prints on our floor.After a few scheduled cleanings with Best Friend getting stuck, I was ready to send her back. #frustrated It took about a week of her working to create her map. Iâm glad I didnât give up on her! After she got her map created, it took about a week, she does not get stuck anywhere. I have used all of the map features and love the zone cleaning for when I add the mop to the vacuum. She does a great job of getting up the dog hair, kid and husband crumbs, and any extra remnants on our floors. I am a bit obsessive about clean; She runs every day and meets my expectations. She has truly made my life better!
