This is a game changer!!
I got the Eufy G30 after going back and forth for a long time on whether a robovac would be worth it. I don’t know why I waited so long. This thing is awesome. The first time I used it, I followed it around like a cat watching its every move. I was amazed at the places it fit into – under the couch, under the bathroom vanity… it came out looking like it had been bushwhacking through the jungle, all covered in spider webs and dust! If there was a spot it seemed to miss, without fail it would return and clean it up. It follows a back-and-forth pattern in the room, and after it’s covered the entire house, it sweeps around the perimeter one last time before returning to its base.PROS:-It picks up cat litter and pet hair very well!-Great at getting under furniture and in nooks and crannies that would otherwise go unvacuumed.-Returns itself to its base when finished, or if it needs to charge before finishing.-The app lets you see where it’s been, and you can schedule cleanings. It also alerts you if it gets stuck.-It’s not too loud. Barely hear it when in another room.-Cleans really well! I have it on the lowest suction and I’m happy with that. It’s amazing how much dust it picks up. There are higher suction settings if needed.-Favorite Thing: I keep my house cleaner now. Before turning on the Eufy, I go around and tuck in any loose cords and pick up various things from the floor. It takes 2 minutes and means the Eufy can get everywhere, AND I have a less-cluttered house. Win/win.CONS:-It will occasionally wedge itself under a piece of furniture if it approaches it from a certain angle, and gets stuck. It doesn’t happen every time and I’ve learned to block off a couple of spots. After you rescue it, it picks up where it left off.-It doesn’t like shag rugs.OVERALL:I’m so glad I finally got this robovac. I researched a lot of different brands and models, and I think the G30 is a great choice if you want one that’s not super expensive but still does a fantastic job. Very pleased with it!

Works well; some “babysitting” needed
I had an issue with the first unit I received where the rolling brush motor died after only 30 minutes of cleaning. However, I was able to get a replacement sent through Amazon. The company itself was responsive via customer support, but the first solution involved me replacing the motor myself, which seemed doable but tedious. Fortunately the replacement arrived quickly and the new unit has gone through two cleaning cycles with no issues.Overall I’m loving this RoboVac! I got it because I have several cats and long hair myself and wanted help picking up the hair and litter on a regular basis. So far, it has done just that! It doesn’t get every bit of litter, especially the stuff right in front of the litter box, but it makes a big difference. It also cleans well in hard-to-reach places like under the couch and other furniture. It picked up a horrifying amount of hair it’s first go-round, and the rolling brush needed to be cleaned. So if you expect it to pick up a lot of hair, definitely keep an eye on the brush so it doesn’t get stuck. It wasn’t bad the second time, but I still expect to clean it more regularly than the user manual suggests. I was also a bit skeptical about the cleaning pattern when it first started cleaning, but it did end up cleaning all the rooms well, so that was great. It takes about 1.5 hours to clean the entire floor of my house and does it on one charge. It is slow, but much more thorough and very convenient for me to just let it run. It’s surprisingly quiet too and didn’t scare my cats into hiding.It does need a bit of “babysitting” in that you’ll want to check which obstacles it has trouble with and move stuff out of the way. I have some rugs that it has trouble with even though they aren’t particularly fluffy. Also, since I have cat stuff all over the house, I pick it up because the first time it drug some toys around for a while. If you don’t have much stuff strewn about, you can probably run it whenever without worrying. I’ll have to pick up stuff before I run it, but again I’m glad to not have to vacuum.The side brush pops off a lot which is mildly annoying, but it seems to clean fine without it. If you pick it up to put the brush back on, you have to bring the vacuum back to the home base which makes the whole process slower, so I’ve just let it do it’s thing and put the brush back on later.

Bought it on Black Friday sale back in 2022 so I literally had it for a year by now. It is on sale for the same price as last year so if you are thinking to buy one, go get it.For a year of ownership I am confidence to say that this little thing is peobably the most bang of the buck robovac on market today.It is slim so will likely go under your couch or bed stuck free (I don’t have open bottom furniture so I guess maybe?).Suction power is good enough for normal household cleaning (I live alone and have no pets so really not much to clean with).Battery life last about 800-1000 sqft area with normal suction power setting (remember it does not go through the area as no returning, it covers the area at least 2-3 times each cleaning job).Accessories and consumable parts are easy to find here on amazon, OE or aftermarket, not too expensive either (for the price, compitability and life span of parts, I just go with OE).Alexa and APP control is a big bonus, especially when I already bought it for saving cleaning time, it just not make sense to manually turn it on each time like some cheaper entry level substitutes, when I want to be lazy, I want to be as lazy as I can.Taking about lazy, it holds enough debrie for weekday regular cleaning jobs, I only need to clean it once every weekend, and I don’t even bother to carefully clean the filter and dirt box, my old Dyson handheld vacuum now is the cleaner for cleaner, yes, I vacuum the vacuum.Now here are some tips for robovac owners or prospective owners.Organize your home for robovac, don’t leave loose cords, socks, cloth, or any large garbage on the ground, it is not that smart and will get stuck. Consider this as a mandatory rutine to push yourself being organizing, it helps, both yourself and the robovac.Leave enough room around charger and put it somewhere open to access, robovac sometimes may get confuse to find the base to return.Leave suction power on max setting and don’t use it when somebody around home, it is noisy, just let it work alone, “quietly”.It needs more than just empty the dirt box, not much, but some, follow the manual and it will just do fine.Overall I love it, it really saves me big time, and most important, come home after long day of work with the clean floor to welcome, cannot be more appreciate than that.

This vacuum is amazing sucker! If you get it on sale or get it with a coupon or on sale, it’s unbeatable in value. It ventured into no man’s land under my furniture and I was surprise how much dust it collected.Please note this is not the model with the self emptying dust home base. Get the G40+ if that’s what you’re looking for!
