    Did not see it coming.
I really did not expect to like this vacuum as much as I do. Let me explain. Have several other brand robot vacuums that I am very happy with. Our floors have never looked better. Due to architectural features of our very old house one small area needed a separate vac (either that or me with a handheld one). For a period of time this little veranda was cleaned daily by a semi-retired other brand vacuum but its battery was aged and it was time for a replacement. It is not a heavy traffic area but the cat litter robot is there as are several large potted plants. This little Eufy simply blew me away by what it manages to pick up! As I already explained, the area was by no means neglected (cleaned daily as a matter of fact!). But amount of pet hair (both dogs’ and cats’) this thing was gathering every time is simply mind boggling. I am also extremely impressed with how close to the edges Eufy is able to clean. It is very quiet, works efficiently, has a good size container and terrific suction. The things that I do not like are: this model does not self-empty, the cleaning pattern is haphazard instead of a methodical grid, does not send a “help me” message if stuck. But ALL of these negatives are outweighed by the quality of cleaning and extremely reasonable price. Even though there is no app, cleaning schedule was very easy to set up (it did not switch to daylight savings time automatically but this did not bother me). This model is quite slim, so it easily gets under the low furniture.I never dealt with Eufy brand before but now will absolutely consider their products. When it is time to replace our smarter self-emptying vacuums I might check out Eufy’s offers first. Wonderful little vacuum, simply love it.

    nice at first
Edited (10/22/19) and placed on top so others can see what has occurred since making the statements below~ Shortly after returning the robovac that was not working as intended the company made contact with me (they are very serious on having happy clients). They offered me a new robovac of the same model which I told them I had already returned and received a refund for. They stated they understood this yet would still like to send my a new one which I accepted after a few exchanged emails. This company went above and beyond much the same way I run my business. I learned a long time ago if your clients are not happy you can put your company at risk of failure. Now I don’t know if they just sent my out a unit with a new battery or if there have been upgrades to said unit yet I will say this new one works like a charm. The only two issues I have every had since running this for about 3 weeks is it get stuck in two areas of my home however that is not of any fault or flaw to said unit. The areas are just that kind of area; one of the areas I simple moved the two throw rugs closer together and the unit stopped getting caught in the toe kick of the cabinet, the other is under a hide-a-bed when it is in use by getting caught on the loop leg whereas the unit get in a kind of see-saw predicament (this area I will be placing tape around the leg as a bumper so it will no longer be able to breach the area. Even with these two things being of no error to their manufacturing they had a suggestion that has worked for other (I was not interested in said suggestion because it seemed a bit ackward to me) and also sent my out a new brush for all the communication I have offered (they stated it helps them to make a better unit when they know what to look for) All in all I am very please with the unit; it runs strong and does what it is intended for. Great company to work with.(original comments) As an overall cleaning unit it did a fine job for it’s price. It got the bulk of the dust and what nots off the carpet and floors of our home + family room in one 90 minute pass on it maiden voyage. It amazed me how much debris where on the floors for the first few mission of capture and destroy and such become less as time went on. I had it set so that it would go on after we left for work and the house always looked vacuum when we returned. I will forewarn anyone who purchased any of these type units that you must clean the brushes daily for about the first week, after that it was about about every few days for me yet I have long hair and a cat. Also the catch bin must be emptied daily (at least that was true for me) as well as a good cleaning of the filter in the catch bin to achieve maximum cleaning power. Because I already knew this it was not an issue for me. I was off work and heard the unit start and run for about 15 or so minuted then I no longer heard it so I got up to see if it got caught (which it had done on two occasions) or just at the back of the house. Nope, it had returned to it’s base to recharge which under normal use should not of happened for 90 or so minuted. I thought perhaps my cat may of pushed it off it’s charger so I charged up to a full charge and set it free again. Once again it ran for a short time then returned to it’s base. I know from owning many battery operated tools that this is a sure sign of a worn out battery. Instead of opening the battery compartment to check the date on the battery (some battery tools are in the warehouse for long periods of time which means you get a worn out battery to start with) I decided for a new tool that this is unacceptable and returned said item. I will be looking at other brands to see if this is an issue before purchasing another. If it was not for the battery issue and the fact that the remote only worked when I was in the same room as the unit I would of been fully satisfied with the product and kept it even though the remote was limited. Again, this may of been a battery issue as the box came with batteries for the remote as well. Nice cleaning unit providing it stays charged.

No frills, old tech, that bumbles about but gets the job done.
After reading many reviews by folks who had bought much more sophisticated models of Robo vacuums, and then found them sorely lacking in capability compared to the price, I decided to go with the low tech Eufy model. While it has a handheld infrared remote, and you can program in a set time each day where it will launch itself and meander around the house, the model is completely low tech. That said, as long as you don’t mind emptying the container and cleaning the brush on a regular basis, it actually does a surprisingly good job of cleaning a 1200 ft.² house with a combination of hardwood floors and area rugs. One of our household members produces a tremendous amount of hair. Another of our household members produces a tremendous amount of fur. We don’t have a proper entryway, hence leaves small bits of dirt and dust gets tracked into the house. The Eufy handles at all at 1/5 the cost of some of the more expensive and highly touted models. Is it sophisticated? Definitely not. Is it capable of mapping out your entire floor plan and avoiding obstacles? Nope. But if you don’t mind listening to it bumble around bumping into walls, getting stuck trying to get into the bathroom and otherwise looking completely comical, it actually does a pretty good job, and we no longer have to run the vacuum on a regular basis. It has two suction settings and we pretty much leave it on high the whole time. As others have reported the sound level is comparable to a feisty microwave or maybe an air fryer. Unless you are willing to discover all of the places where it can get itself stuck, and then block them off, you probably can’t let this thing run on its own unsupervised as it will eventually get itself stuck on a door sill or trapped underneath a couch. However, for all of its mechanical faults and lack of tech, it still manages to phone home and put itself to bed when it’s done. And I’ve seen other reviews of more sophisticated models where the owner had previously owned one of these, and they actually went back to the Eufy and junked the more expensive model. If you’re looking for the latest and greatest, don’t buy this. But if you want something that’s inexpensive (I found one for $119.00), gets the job done and is no frills. The Eufy might be for you.

Had a Eufy slim vacuum for years and it was great. Decided to upgrade to a newer model and went with this c20 vac/mop combo even though some combo units have bad reviews. Setup was super easy and once the floorplan was mapped out the vacuum does a great job of cleaning wherever you want. The noise level is low while working until it empties its dust canister automatically but only last for a short time. When it cleans and dries its mops it is quieter than I expected. Mapping capability worked awesome and the app is really easy to use. Very customizable. Build quality is top notch, which I expect from Eufy/Anker after having products from them previously. Overall really impressed with vacuum and mopping. I have hard surface floors and a couple area rugs and a high transition from kitchen to hallway and it has no problem navigating everywhere. Before getting this vacuum I tried 2 other models of a diff brand and it could not go up transition at all, which is why I had to return and went back to Eufy. Love it so far.

Update, May 15, 2024: Today the new battery lasted 100 minutes.Update, May 8, 2024: I sent an email to the manufacturer explaining the battery situation and they sent me a new battery under warranty.Very poor manual because of very small illustrations which are not the same as on the robot, plus does not explain how to delete a setting. A fairly good robot though, cleans well but tends to remain in larger rooms, it starts in the living room of 1,500 sq.’ apartment, manages to find the bedroom, but once it exits the bedroom it does not go back to finish the bedroom and washroom. My fix for this is to put it in the bedroom and close the door and let it run until it finishes the bedroom, then take it to the living room. It does not clean near the charging station. Very quiet, bumps very gently. When it is working beside you, you can still hold a conversation. It is very easy to clean the waste bin, roller, wheels and filter. I clean it and wipe off the machine each time I use it, which is twice a month. I find this vacuum very easy to use and clean. It usually runs for about 1.5 hours, then recharges. For $200.00 Canadian it is an okay value. It does not have the headaches and problems associated with programming using cell phones. I understand why manufacturers went that route, but it isn’t good.TIPS: do one room at a time. The reason is that the robot learns the room and wastes less time learning multiple rooms. Give it plenty of time to fully recharge between uses. CLEAN IT, CLEAN IT, CLEAN IT after each use – remember to do the wheels, they pop out so easily.

I really like the c20 its well made, smart the home station is also very functional. That said there are a few improvements that can be made. I noticed it waits for a full recharge before resuming (which is fine) however with only a few meters left it could charge to 25 or 50% and complete then fully charge like the roomba does. The price blows the roomba away and the IQ is just as good when working. Considering roombas almost decade advance this is incredible. The c20 also mops which the j7+ does not and the j7+ is almost 40% more expensive. It was a good buy and I am really enjoying the range of security and cleaning products from Eufy. Good job.

My wife wanted something to make it easier to clean under the bed. We bought the 11S Max based on positive reviews and it has lived up to those reviews. It is very basic but it does the job. No mapping of the house, no self emptying feature, no app. All we do is put it into a bedroom, close the door and let it do its thing and judging by the amount of stuff it sucks up, it does it very well. The random motion , as opposed to straight lines, means that it might go over the same area more than once and in different directions. This gives better cleaning. When the battery gets low it will return to the base charger as long as the signal from the base is not blocked by e.g. walls.Out of curiosity I set it going on our upper level and was impressed that it did not fall down the stairs. It gets a little way over, the sensors register that and the machine then backs up.Emptying the collector is easy but removing fluff and hairs from the roller is a bit of a pain. The tool provided helps but even so it is not easy. We considered return the 11S for an L60 with self emptying but that only works with an app and my wife did not want to bother with that. For now. But, the thought of a more powerful machine machine that maps the whole house may eventually be too tempting to resist.
