1. Can I edit the map on eufy Clean G40+ via the eufy Clean app?
No, the map on the app can not be edited. The map only shows Cleaning Area and Cleaning Time. After the cleaning is finished, the map can not be used for the next cleaning.
2. How do I use the self-empty station?
G40+ empties dust automatically. Before using the feature, make sure the dust bag is properly installed. You can also set the number of times G40+ will clean before emptying via the eufy Clean app.
3. How do I prevent G40+ from getting stuck?
Be aware of heights under furniture and block areas where G40+ could get stuck. The lowest height G40+ can pass through is 2.8″ (72.5 mm). Also, pick up loose cables and avoid using G40+ on carpets with tassels to avoid entanglement.
4. How do I keep the side brush from falling off?
Just snap the side brush until you hear a click. If you don’t hear the click, check if the metal tab or screws connecting the brush to the vacuum are loose, then tighten them.
5. How do I ensure G40+ properly docks with the self-empty station?
Place the auto-empty station on a hard floor with 1.6 ft (0.5 m) on each side and 4.9 ft (1.5 m) in front. We don’t recommend putting the auto-empty station on the carpet.
Vacuum Up Food Crumbs: Keep floors clean with 2,500 Pa of strong suction to pick up food particles and dust.
Ultra-Slim Fits Under the Couch: The strain of picking up furniture to clean is over. Let the 2.85″ thin G40+ slip under tight spaces to clean.
Cleaning Without Disturbance: No more noisy interruptions—you can watch TV or focus on work thanks to G40+’s quiet 55 dB volume.
Clean via the eufy Clean App: Avoid manually programming G40+ and just comfortably control from your phone, no matter where you are.
Note: Make sure you are using a 2.4GHz router or a dual-band router that is configured to support a 2.4GHz frequency band. RoboVac does not support 5GHz frequency band

Great little robotic vacuum
I have had a Eufy for my last several vacuum purchases (robotic and handheld), mainly for the price and have generally been happy. But this particular model is my favorite – I love that it will empty itself out, recharge, and then go back out to clean more if it didnât get to the whole first floor. It picks up quite a lot of dust, dog hair, etc on each trip. And the collection bag will hold quite a lot before needing to be emptied. The unit doesnât seem to get lost or stuck as often as the previous one I owned. I do not think this unit can fully replace the need to still manually vacuum occasionally in a home with pets and kids, but it sure make it a lot easier to keep up with it!

I have a Husky, I have a chronic illness ,and this is exactly what I did not know I needed
This thing sucks so much but I wish it sucked a little more. I have a Husky so I am constantly vacuuming and I was not sure how this would hold up. I have a chronic illness which leaves me battling fatigue a lot and having to make choices about what housework to prioritize. This thing means I have room to do other things first, which is so so nice. I’ve only had this vacuum for about a week or two but I run this twice a day and it has made such a difference in the dog hair battle that is my daily existence. I will just have to see how this holds up in the long term, but at this point in time I am very happy with my purchase. The only complaint I have right now is that I bought the model with the less powerful suction, but even at this power it makes a huge difference. I still have to use the vacuum to get the floor super clean, but living with a dog like this basically means you never have a spotless floor. This is the closest i have come to a spotless floor. The machine seems to avoid cords and things pretty well. It does not jump off cliffs. It easily climbs on top of my rugs and mats. It fits under the couch, beds and chairs which means it gets all that dog hair that would normally collect. This model only vacuums and has bags you have to replace. I definitely recommend this product, but if you have pet hair you should get a stronger model than this from the outset. That’s the only thing I wish I had done differently. This is the Eufy g40 and it has about 2500 suction power. I will upgrade to the model with 8000 in the next few months. It looks like all those come with mops, which I don’t really care about but maybe that will be an unexpected surprise as well. Also, I did not realize Eufy was made by Anker. My Anker bluetooth are the ones that have lasted, while my other brands die after a year or so. So, I am hopeful that quality is also found in this product as well.4 stars instead of 5 only bc I want more suction.

A Loyal Fan
5 years later and my original model, Chopper, turned on for the last time. 𥺠Oddly, Chopper OM had only one working arm at the end which was a nice surprise to find with ie2.I grabbed ie2 refurbed for $20 extra dollars from my original spend in 2019, but ie2 has a trash bin!!! I currently have a 1 bedroom and when I had larger homes, I would add 1 per level. This thing is really quiet. Like, wow! I expect ie2 to last just as long as Chopper (rest in junk buddy). And as ie2 has a bin and I keep my home very clean, I expect to have to empty him 90+ days! Itâs just me, no pets, I take off all shoes, half wood, half carpet.I will say that ie2âs base occupies more space, but itâs modern looking enough to look well in any small entryway. In all, Iâve sen deliberately worse design choices. ð¤I dont schedule, as itâs right next to my door I set whenever Iâm leaving for longer than 1 hour, and goal is to have full home set to clean state NLT 9am daily. 5am cleans are cathartic. ð

Not as good as my first Eufy
This one replaces my first Eufy. So right away, I noticed it didn’t pick up as much as my first Eufy. It’s just as quiet, but the battery lasts half as long as my first Eufy. Not only that, but my first Eufy could not go without being empied at least twice per week. This one barely fills the bag in a month. It’s hardly picking up anything, even when set to maximum.I thought having a station to empty it out each time would be convenient. But not if it’s not picking anything up. And yes, I have the blocker open.

Less is More
Simpler and less expensive than my previous one.Has less features but works better and is more robust.
