Excellent vacuum! Updated review
My 2nd Eufy. So very quiet.For those reviewers with some problems, Eufy customer service will help figure out the problem to address such things as stuck bumper, stuck side brush, etc. There are also excellent Utube videos which give tips on cleaning. I was able to finally remove the white front pivot ball with help from a video. (And found lots and lots of matted dog hair!) Rolling brush should be cleaned regularly. Amazon sells non Eufy brand replacement brush and filter kits which includes a what looks like a small yellow orange colored tube with interior comb like teeth. This works fantastically on cleaning the brush. I wash the brush in soapy water about once a week. The two inside areas where the rolling brush connects must be free of debris. I have had good luck straightening bent side brushes in very hot water. Eventually they will need replacement. The white pleated filter can be vigorously slapped on the bottom side to release a lot of fine dirt and the grey filter wiped off. This gives these items a bit more life. I live in a very dusty area with ceramic floors and a dog. The magnetic boundary strips work well, but they must be flat on the floor. A warm hair dryer will help flatten them, or outside in the sun. I put them just under the fringe of an area rug and the robovac will not cross the strip.

These Vacuums Suck. In a good way.
This is our second Eufy robotic vacuum cleaner. The first one lasted five or six years until the front wheel fell off and it started going in circles and getting dementia. We bought the second one since we have two dogs and three cats, so our home requires daily vacuuming. I replaced the batteries in the old one after four years. These things still require maintenance like any vacuum. Daily dumping of the dust/hair bin, usually with compressed air outside. Hair removal from the brushes, and replacement of brushes and filters. This vac will not be good for carpet, but for wood and tile floors it does well. If the higher motor that sucks is on high speed, sometimes it actually blows away the hair that it is supposed to pick up. More air in= more air out. Not sure if the fan boost is the way to go. Perhaps Eufy could design the air output to help instead of hinder dust and hair collection? Overall, happy to have a robotic vacuum. You do spend more time and energy cleaning a vacuum cleaner than you do cleaning your floor, so it’s a trade off. It beats sweeping and cleaning the floor each day. Plan on cleaning your vacuum cleaner if you want it to continue working and doing a good job.

Glass Top Shattered
I have had this vacuum for less than a year. It worked well at first. It is quieter than my roomba which is a plus and does a good job cleaning overall.However- the glass top cracked while it was running (nothing dropped on it) and customer service’s response is to either wear gloves and remove it or buy replacement glass. This seems unacceptable given this is dangerous and clearly a manufacturer issue. Would not recommend.

Does a good job and works for laminate
Very happy with this vacuum! It has great suction and has a very soft brush that works well on laminate since the flooring manufacturer says no beater bar. The noise level is acceptable and it docks appropriately by itself. Itâs hard for o guage the vacuum for the long haul since others have had problems with it stopping working after 7 months or so but we will see. So far itâs great! Have only had it a few weeks.

Update fromâHad a bit of a rough go…update 2/25/20
Iâve had two of these for about a year, now. Other than the fact that theyâve gotten a little louder, theyâre great. I use them daily. I definitely recommend them. Would be 5 stars except for the increasing loudness even after cleaning, changing brushes, etc.I now have 2 of these. One for each end of the house. We have 4 furry critters and I run them both, daily. I am impressed. Our floors stay clean and the Eufys have required very little maintenance. I empty them, check the filters and dust them. I did buy extended warranties since Iâve read a lot of reviews that said they donât last. I now know the company will back them until their warranty ends, though. I highly recommend them for hard floors.The 1st Eufy I bought was a refurb. Unfortunately, it had permanent brain damage. The 2nd Eufy got lost in the mass of holiday mail. I still havenât seen it. The 3rd Eufy wasnât a refurb and didnât get lost but it did start going in circles a few days after we got it. I contacted the company because I wanted to give it a chance. Until it started spinning, it was fantastic. It got up the fur on our hard floors, went under furniture and was making our lives a lot easier. The company responded immediately with troubleshooting tips and backed their product completely.( Iâm still waiting to find if the company wants it returned to them for replacement or to Amazon for a refund.)After all of this, I still want to try them one more time. When it worked, it was a game-changer. I would love to have 2, that work, to use at both ends of the house. They work so well on fur and dust that we would rarely, if ever, have to dust mop. Theyâre so quiet that the critters lost their fear of them within 3 days. They would just watch them vacuum and step around them. They didnât get stuck, either. The last one would vacuum an area until the battery was low and then redock. Once the questions on this last one are resolved, I will definitely try again. Hopefully, I will be changing this to a 5 star review!

Their permitter strips are garbage. Offered 13ft of strip but they cut them in 6ft pieces so you see joints if you use them for more than 2 doorwayshallways. Plus they give you a small amount of 3M stickers that do not hold the strip down so there are bumps. I had bought 9 of these for my home and work place. The 11S model. They worked well and they were cheap. I thought there would be some customer loyalty when i asked for another 6 ft roll of tape and some 3M stickers. They want to up charge me. If they gave me a 13ft roll I would have been ok.

It was quiet and able to go under the beds …however it missed a lot of places seemed to do the same area over unless I stood by with the remote….would not always go back to the charging station .
