Just what we needed
Update 4/20/24Very happy with this purchase. Vacuum daily with this little guy and the volume of dust and debris it picks up is pretty amazing. One note, I do clean the roller head weekly, as it picks up a lot of hair and longer elements. Cleaning it definitely seems to help the overall performance of the vacuum overall, great little vacuum.I was shopping for a cordless stick vacuum for some time and was quite shocked at the prices I was seeing. When I saw this advertised for less than half price I decided to give it a shot. I have had it for less than a week so I can’t say how it’ll hold up but so far I am very pleased. We have short pile carpet and hardwood and after the initial use I was amazed at what was in the dust cup. Seems to pick up everything it travels over. I have only vacuumed for 10 or 15 minutes at a time on the higher setting (which is advertised to run for 16 minutes, lower setting for 40 minutes) and battery life seems more than adequate. The dust cup removes and empties easily. And the core of the vacuum separates so you have a small handheld vacuum, perfect for stairs and tight spots. It’s light enough that you just grab it and do a quick pickup, something I’m never doing with our full size vacuum. I’m not sure Electrolux is the same quality it was when I was younger but based on the Amazon reviews, and now my own experience, I’d recommend giving it a shot if you’re in the market for a cordless vacuum.

Makes my life so much easier! Vacuuming shouldn’t have to be a dreaded chore; now it’s quick and easy.I love it so much, that I convinced my mom and dad, who are elderly, to get one as well. They absolutely love it too. They had a couple of big clunky and heavy vacuum cleaners with great suction, but they were nearly impossible for my parents to move safely. Iâm SO glad that I encouraged them to get this and I don’t have to worry about them tripping or falling while vacuuming. For them, it is like night and day, really.[** UPDATE 7/2024 **: My Mom loves this vacuum so much that she decided she would like another one for the second floor of their house. It is lightweight enough that she could easily carry it up the stairs, but for convenience, she would like a second one. It makes me feel good that she likes it so much. My parents are very “particular.” Initially, I was worried that she would feel that the suction was not strong enough for her carpets, but she is as astonished as I am with how much dirt that is pulled up with each use. I empty the cup on mine every time. Because it is light-weight and relatively quiet, one would expect the performance to be weak, but it is as good or better than the larger uprights I’ve used in the past.]One minor issue with the design: The nozzle attachment for the handheld vacuum is stored inside the charging base. As others have commented, it would be better if this attachment were more easily accessible (i.e. stored on the vacuum itself). So, if you are about to vacuum and think you might be using the hand-held device at some point, you should grab the nozzle from the base when you remove the vacuum from the charger. This will save you from having to go back to the base to get it.Recommendation: Get the additional warranty for a few extra dollars. I had a cordless Electrolux very similar to this one many years ago and it lasted about a year, so I definitely signed up for the extra warranty for both machines. It adds a couple of years after the manufacturer’s warranty run out. Worth it.

Lightweight, long lasting
I keep this lightweight, cordless vacuum plugged-in & charging in my kitchen area. Used for light cleaning on mostly hardwood floors but also works on rugs. Easily sucks up dust bunnies, dirt/debris, tracked-in catlitter , cat food, coffee grounds, and various dropped food scraps. Suction isn’t too strong that it pulls rug into roller, which i like. The cannister to empty is easy to remove, dump, and reinsert; Albeit small. I empty after each use. Battery lasts a while. I go from kitchen, to office, dining and living room and never had to recharge. I like removable hand held (which holds the dust cannister) to clean up my coffee/toaster counter area too. The little brush attachment for hand held sits in charge stand cubby. All around perfect for light vacuum jobs! Not for big, deep carpet jobs. Good purchase!

Works pretty good, lousy instructions
I’ve only used it a couple of times but I like it for a quick cleanup. Doesn’t get into corners but does a pretty good job for most of the area rugs. It works on the wood floors, but seems to do a better job on the rugs. It was fairly easy to put together, though the instructions were in little diagrams, no word instructions, which was a little challenging. I actually had to watch the videos on the website to figure out a few things. It’s light and easy to push around and saves me hauling out our canister vacuum. I love not having a cord and having to plug it in.

THE BEST VACUUM IN THE WORLD FOR A NEAT FREAK!
My daughter gave me this vacuum for Christmas. If this was my Christmas present from my husband I would have been gutted, because I hate practical gifts, but coming from my daughter I was pleased. I must admit I am a neat freak. A dish in the sink is cause for a melt down, and I have a beautiful greyhound who sheds all over my white carpet. Enter the Ergorapido. Easy, light weight, so narrow It can hide behind a door, a head that swivels, a lift off mini vac for corners and hard to get at places, and miracle of miracles it picks up dog hair! Not just a little dog hair! I had just finished vacuuming my carpet, a task I do every day, and a chore I hate, when I first tested the ergorapidio. Now my old vacuum was very costly and rated the best vacuum money could buy, and my carpet looked immaculately clean, but a few quick swipes with the ergorapidio and to my absolute horror the clear plastic box was filling with a huge amount of dust and dog hair! This vacuum is truly amazing! Now I love vacuuming, and it’s pretty quiet too. What more can a clean freak ask for? Possibly the best present I have ever received.
