Loved the vacuum cleaner! Itâs light and cleans like a dream. Because it recharches quickly, I am able to use it very often. Itâs rather pricy, but worth the mone for what it does. It is very powerful!

V8 is Cordless wonder, but not for area rugs
I bought this to replace my Shark stick vacuum that I loved, but was worn out. I got the Dyson because it was cordless and on sale. I love it. It’s a breeze to use. It’s light weight and not having a cord makes it super easy to use. Attaching and detaching from the charger is a snap. The suction power is fantastic. I use it daily. It’s not perfect though. The battery doesn’t last long. It says 30 minutes, but you’ll get 15-20 if your lucky. Also, don’t expect it to run on certain area rugs. It runs great on my indoor/outdoor rug, but fabric rugs get stuck in the suction. Even on the lower power. Also, you have to hold the power button for it to run. I have tennis elbow, and this is a problem for me. Be careful of the way the canister opens to empty. You have to hold it horizonal or it will empty onto your feet.

I call this the magic wand, despite the fact a very different product has appropriated that name. My needs arenât great, the house rarely gets very dirty. I wanted a light weight, cordless vacuum to clean chiefly dog fur on two floors, one wood and tile, the other carpeted. The Dyson V8 Plus does the job easily and swiftly, sucking up all the dog debris, small bits of paper, food scraps, and any other dirt on the floors. It is so much more convenient than using one of those big, cumbersome, corded vacuum cleaners I used to have. I hated lugging these around, especially up and down stairs. Now I can carry the Dyson just in one hand and never worry about plugging and re-plugging the machine. I had some difficulties at the beginning because the Dyson got clogged. It still functioned, but not well: it pulsed, instead of being smooth. Only when I downloaded the manual did I discover the simple solution to my problem, which was to find and remove the blockage in the tube. Then the Dyson worked like magic. The battery doesnât last very long under heavy usage, so I clean one floor at a time, waiting about two hours between these tasks until the machine recharges. Iâm probably too cautious because whenever I finish a floor, I know I still have some leftover power. Itâs not quiet but nor is it especially noisy â and it works so well I canât complain.

The hairscrew tool is shown to be included in this set and that is why I bought this set for my pets hair problem but that specific tool is not included and will be returning the complete set.

Wonderful!
This vacuum is amazing. Itâs so handy and has a great suction. The charge will only get you thru one room, but thatâs ok. I only bought it for quick clean ups. The suction is so powerful that I keep it on low for my rugs.Max setting is great for baseboard and window frames. I can easily get to my 10 â ceiling with the handle.Also perfect for small spaces like cars , shelves and cabinet tops. All I have to do is remove the long handle. It vacuums up so well that I have to empty after every use. The canister is very easy to empty- just the push of a button. Iâm so happy I have this.

Best Vacuum
I’m a janitor, and I’m telling you that this is the best vacuum ever for smaller spaces. I say smaller because the battery doesn’t last super long on full blast, but it charges back up fast and it’s super powerful and easy to use. I love this vacuum. Cordless, easy to clean, easy to use accessories…it’s worth the price.

I love this vac!
This is the greatest little vac! It is lightweight, vacuums hardwood/tile well, and takes up very little storage space. I find I am vacuuming much more often now because it is just so fast and easy to use. I have not touched my full sized Dyson in weeks! It can vacuum rugs, but it probably would not be good for a whole room of wall-to-wall carpet. It’s perfect for hardwood, though. I only have one carpeted room, so I just use the roomba in there.

Great gadget
This vacuum has gotten more use than any other vacuum I’ve purchased in the past. The battery does not last very long though if you keep it on the high powered setting. I use it as needed. Also, the button can be a pain to have to hold down to vacuum a lot of space. But the convenience of all of the easy attach attachments makes it worth it. I finally found an out of the way but easily accessible space to hang the hardware for easy charging- that made it even easier to keep to charged and neatly put away. Very happy with this purchase.
